Hello, friends. Probably by the end of the year, I’m going to take down my writings. At least, most of them. I may keep a few of my favorites, if there are any that don’t make me cringe when I read through them. I don’t have a plan on where to start, or any schedule other than “the next few months,” so if you want to revisit something, now(ish) is the time.

I’m not deleting my account, so I’ll still be around. I just haven’t written anything in years, and I don’t see it happening in the near future, so keeping an account dedicated to my own fanfic feels silly these days.

Thank you! I’d miss poking my head in and lurking from time to time.

In the last year or two, I’ve fallen into the basic romantasy bitch pipeline, so there’s that. Also dipped my toes into some k-pop. Which is the most random thing I’ve ever stumbled into, but it’s fun. I’m slowly attempting to expand my cooking skills because I’m bored to death of the handful of dishes I keep in rotation. It’s a very slow process because the last thing I want to do after work is try a new recipe and then clean up after myself, and sometimes weekends are too busy.

Did you see the crow? What did you think? I bought the DVD and watched the behind the scenes stuff, and they put so much thought into set design and costumes etc. Bill looked very hot, that's for sure

Today marks 6 years of having this guy as a muse! I, of course, am still very much enjoying every second of it..but I think that’s been pretty evident. It’s been such a pleasure to watch him grow in his craft with every new project and I’m clearly still here supporting him through it all..And I know many of you are, too.🖤

So for today’s post, I decided to create something using ink! How fitting, considering the character, right? I haven’t worked with it in literal years so I thought I’d create a practice piece just to see if I still got it..and now I want to go out and pick up some other colors and work with them more. No surprise.😝

But on a serious note I do want to say “Thank You” to y’all for sticking around and tagging along on this little journey. I’ve met some incredible people here and am always thankful to y’all for making this place a such a joy to be in.🖤

Here he is!! After over three weeks of literal daily planning and working on this guy..he is finally finished. I’m so happy with the result! He’s probably my most detailed painting I’ve done to date, besides my Rico portrait, and I’ve gotta say I’ve definitely learned a lot from working on him. It has changed my way on how I paint skin for the better and taught me even more about painting bokeh. I am exhausted, though, and plan on taking a very long sleep after this.😂

Thanks to those of you that slid into my DMs n’ chatted with me and kept me sane through this little journey..it was very appreciated and needed.🖤

Taking photos of this was super difficult due to the lens causing light and color distortion in areas of the painting..but this always happens, so it’s not surprising.🙃 So I, of course, added up close detail shots over on my Instagram to give you a better look at him. Enjoy!!🌿

I’ve had some eye studies that I’ve been wanting to do of our dude and here’s the first!

I purchased some Strathmore acrylic papers because I was curious about them..I’ve always used canvas and this is definitely way different than what I’m used to. I struggled with it at first but I kind of got the hang of it towards the end. I obviously plan on painting up more. I signed on the back- didn’t want to ruin it.🫠
