Since I was 15 years old, I'm having a HUGE crush on my favorite male anime character Monkey D. Luffy 🥰

Yeah, call me dumb for it but I just love his often unintentional heroism, his endless willpower as well his unwavering, deep trust and love for his friends. Luffy showed me what true friendship means and actually should look like.

I also love this raven-haired idiot for the fact that he has a weak spot for the outsiders. Like cute Choppy for example. The Drum Island arc has been the one where my eternal crush for him started actually. Cause he had absolutely no business with the whole thing going on in Drum. But he instantly noticed the whole injustice going on there because of King Wapol and helped because he wanted to, not because someone asked or pleaded for his help. No, he did it because he has good heart by pure nature and this is also a characteristic I admire very deeply about him.

When I was around 16, I eventually started creating my own One Piece character called Mirabella. She is a born princess but got banished from her kingdom since she ate a Devil's Fruit as a child and was seen as cursed by her folk since the inhabitants of her kingdom are very superstitious. Her brother Jacques, who ate a Devil's Fruit as well as a teenager, shared the same destiny and so they decided to leave their home behind and start a new life as pirates. For quite a while, they both lived a happy life together on the sea, but when they get attacked by the cipher pool unit called CP8, everything changes. They take her brother as their prisoner and force Mirabella to become part of their unit and work together with them for the downfall of the Straw Hat pirates. Only if they make that with her help, they will free her brother again. Reluctantly, the 18yo Mirabella agrees and now functions as an undercover agent for the CP8. The plan quite simple but challenging in its execution: Capturing the heart of the Straw Hat and with that gain the trust of the whole crew for leading them into a dangerous trap. The former princess is determined to fulfill this plan for the sake of her dear older brother. But when she gets to know the Straw Hats better and especially Luffy, feelings develop which suddenly make it far more difficult for her to stick to this plan...

Yeah, that's kinda the plot🙈 It's circling inside my head for over 10 years now😅 Since I probably will never write a whole story to this idea, I at least wanted to create something about it. And that's how this picture came to life with the help of ChatGPT😊

Yes it's not perfect and far from magnificent as from real drawing but I personally think it turned out so pretty🥰 And I also love the fact that Luffy also looks a bit like Inaki Godoy here who I personally ADORE as his live action version😊

So please don't hate me too much for creating this since this purely comes from the heart of a true fangirl❤️👒☠️
