3 years ago - July 1981
It was a very warm summer day in Los Angeles. You and your sister decided you wanted to get food from your favorite taco shop. Luckily the walk wasn’t too far and that’s what you loved about living so close. Always easy to get to when you have a craving for it.
“I’m so happy you got that marketing job, you’re gonna do so great. You deserve this job, Jo.” You beamed, as you looped your arm through hers. “But I am gonna miss you.”
Though you were sad to know that she would be traveling a lot, you were still very happy for her. Your sister meant so much to you and all you wanted was for her to be happy. Especially since she worked so hard for this job.
“I’m gonna miss you too, but it’s a really good thing phones and planes exist, we’ll never be too far away.” She affirmed.
Once you walked in, the owner greeted both of you. The best part of the taco shop was that it was family owned, that’s how you know the food is good. And you went so often that eventually you basically became part of their family.
“Hey! How are you doing today, Mr. Gonzalez?” You asked, grinning from ear to ear.
“I’m doing great, mija. How are you both today?” He responded.
Mija, you loved when he called you that. It always reminded you of your mom. A beautiful name of endearment in Spanish for “my daughter.”
“We’re good! Guess what!” You smiled.
“What?” He questioned.
“Jo got the job!” You exclaimed.
His eyes lit up, “mija! That’s great! I’m so happy for you.” He grinned as he came around the counter to give Joana a hug.
She smiled as she hugged him back, “thank you, Mr. Gonzalez. All the hard work paid off.”
You both sat down at a table, there was no need to order because you and Joana always ordered the same thing.
As you were chatting and waiting for your food, someone walked through the door.
That someone was Michael Jackson. He was with his head of security.
Your eyes widened slightly, you immediately noticed him since you were sitting faced in his direction while Joana had her back to him.
“Oh my God.” You whispered.
Joana raised an eyebrow at you, “what?”
You took a deep breath and kept your voice low, “Michael Jackson just walked in.”
Her eyes widened, she didn’t want to turn around to not make it obvious. “Are you sure?”
You nodded slowly; you couldn’t keep your eyes off him. You couldn’t believe he managed to find a place that was completely empty.
"Kind of hard to mistake him for someone else, Jo." You mumbled.
“Mr. Jackson, it’s so nice to see you again.” Mr. Gonzalez smiled.
You whipped your head back at Joana, both very confused. “Again?” You mouthed to each other.
Now you were both watching him. When did Michael Jackson come to this taco shop and how could you have missed him?
He smiled, “it’s nice to see you again, too, Mr. Gonzalez.”
“Do you want the enchiladas again?” Mr. Gonzalez asked.
Michael nodded. He was so good looking. You were mesmerized by him.
Mr. Gonzalez smiled, "I'll have that right up for you." He responded then walked over to the front door to lock it. "And Mr. Bray, would you like the burrito again?"
His security nodded, "yes, that sounds great."
You assumed it was so no one else could come in and bother him once they noticed it was him.
Your heart was racing. Michael must have noticed you and Joana were watching him because he turned slightly and you locked eyes. But Joana turned away before you could, lucky her, she didn’t get caught.
You quickly looked down, “shit.” You muttered under your breath.
Joana put her hand over her mouth to keep from laughing.
He chuckled softly as he and his security walked over to a table not too far behind you. This time your back was to him, and Joana could see his every move if she peeked over your shoulder.
Your face felt hot, it was like you could feel him staring at the back of your head.
Joana tried to peak over without making it too obvious. You shook your head at her.
“Stop.” You mouthed.
She smiled at you. “He’s looking this way.” She whispered, leaning over the table.
Just a few moments later, Jorge, Mr. Gonzalez’s son walked over with your food. “Okay ladies, the usual. Carne asada fries and rolled tacos.” He smiled.
You grinned up at him, “thanks Jorge.”
He nodded and then looked over at Michael. “Mr. Jackson, Mr. Bray, your food is coming right up.”
Knowing that Michael Jackson was sitting right behind you made you far too nervous to eat. You were still in shock. Of course you were a fan, but you didn’t want to make it too obvious. You didn’t want to treat him like the huge superstar that he was, you couldn’t begin to imagine how insane it must be to constantly have people swarming you. A life with no privacy. He was just another person, trying to enjoy food in a place where no one knew he was there.
“Are you regulars?”
Your eyes widened even more than the first time, “is he talking to us…?” You asked, trying to keep your voice low.
Joana nodded slowly, “mhm.”
You slowly turned your head to look at him, “uh,” you chuckled nervously, “yeah.”
He smiled softly, “hmm, I’ve never seen you before.” His eyes were so hypnotizing. Beautiful brown eyes.
“We can say the same about you.” Joana blurted out.
You lightly kicked her ankle, “Jo…”
He laughed softly. “I guess we always miss each other.” He kept his eyes on you, “that’s a shame.”
Suddenly the whole room felt hot and it wasn’t because of the hot sauce you put on your fries. Your heart was pounding in your ears and you started to feel a little dizzy. What the hell was happening? You’re just in your favorite place, enjoying time with your sister but Michael Jackson just so happens to be there too. Right, that doesn’t sound insane at all. But you wanted to stay in this moment, this one moment that didn’t sound real or even feel real.
You lightly cleared your throat, “Up until now.”
His smile got wide, he was amused by you. He was attracted to you, only you didn’t know that because you were oblivious. He bit his lip. It gave you butterflies to see him smiling at you.
Jorge came back with Michael’s food. Red enchiladas. You shared a common favorite food.
“Thank you, Jorge.” Michael smiled. “How long have you been coming here?” He asked.
“I have known these two their whole lives.” Mr. Gonzalez interjected. “My favorite regulars.”
That was true. Your parents would take you and Joana so often that it ended up becoming the place you would go to every weekend. After your parents passed away, this place felt most comforting. It was where you shared so many laughs as a family.
“That’s very sweet.” He responded, his voice was so soft and sincere. “Well, maybe, we can meet here again and you can recommend other foods from the menu.”
You bit your lip. The butterflies in your stomach were going insane. You were so nervous that your palms got a bit sweaty. You wanted to speak but you couldn’t. The words weren’t coming out.
What the hell was happening right now?
Joana lightly kicked your ankle, and softly cleared her throat.
Her kick snapped you out of whatever was happening in your mind. “S-sorry. Um, sure. I… We, my sister and I, can do that.”
“Actually, my job starts on Monday, so I can’t. I’ll be very busy, I’m sorry.” She responded, she had a mischievous smirk on her face.
You turned back to look at her, “what are you doing?” You whispered.
“Just me and you then.” Michael spoke softly. There was excitement in his voice.
After you were done eating, you and Joana said your goodbyes to Mr. Gonzalez and Jorge. Joana walked over to Michael’s table and handed him a small piece of a napkin with your phone number written on it.
“That’s her phone number,” Joana said. “And if you ever want to visit her at her job…”
You blushed bright red, you quickly turned away from him. But you knew he was looking right at you.
“Oh my God, Jo, let’s go.” You spoke, still facing the door.
She laughed, and then whispered your work place to him.
You worked at Gucci on Rodeo Drive. A very popular shop, of course. It was typical for celebrities to show up there. But you definitely had never seen Michael there.
The next day
Another warm day, a part of you hated the heat. But it was worth it to live in California. You opened your bedroom window to let more air in while you finished getting ready for work. You took one last sip of coffee before you slipped on your heels and looked at yourself in the mirror.
You grabbed your purse from your bed and made your way down to the parking garage to get to your car. As soon as you turned on the radio, “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough” was playing. You laughed a little to yourself and shook your head. Of course he was on the radio.
Was the universe trying to tell you something?
No way, it was just a silly coincidence.
The day was going by a bit slow, you couldn’t wait to be off.
Until the last person you expected walked into the store.
He didn’t see you at first, but you immediately noticed him. It was hard not to.
He walked over to one of your coworkers, Mary, who happened to be the closest to the door. You assumed he was asking about a specific item. Until Mary looked in your direction and said, “oh, she’s right over there.”
Your eyes widened. “Oh my God.” You mumbled under your breath.
Another coworker, Angela, whispered. “How the hell do you know Michael Jackson?!”
“I don’t.” You responded. Your heart was beating what felt like a million beats per minute.
“Well he knows you!” She said, squeezing your wrist.
You both got quiet as he got closer.
He smiled at you. What a beautiful smile. “Hi again.” He said sweetly.
Angela quietly stepped away.
“Hi,” you responded, immediately you knew you were blushing. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here.”
“Oh, I come here all the time.” He giggled, then bit his lip.
You nodded and tried to hold back your smile, but you couldn’t resist, “oh, right. I guess we always miss each other. That's a shame.”
“Up until now.” He responded.
You both laughed softly.
Something was happening between you two. Flirting? Perhaps but you weren’t completely sure.
You could feel Mary and Angela staring at you, and of course you were expecting them to ask what was going on as soon as Michael left. And you were sure he noticed too because his voice got lower when he was talking to you.
When you peeked over at Mary and Angela, Michael couldn't stop staring at your lips. Coated in your favorite lipstick. Cherries in the snow by Revlon.
“Would you like to get dinner with me tonight?” He asked, you could tell he was slightly nervous. “As friends, you know, only if you’d like. We can get to know each other.” He was fumbling over his words.
“Okay,” you nodded. “Sure as friends.” You grinned sweetly.
“What time are you off?” He asked.
“At 6, I should be home by 6:30 if you want to call. Ya know, since my sister generously gave you my phone number.” You playfully rolled your eyes.
He chuckled, “okay. I can do that.” He smiled even wider. “Well, I guess I’ll call you later.”
“Okay,” you said almost too softly, your smile never fading away.
He waved goodbye as he made his way towards the door. You waved back.
The butterflies were coming up again. Mary and Angela rushed over to you as soon as Michael’s car drove off.
“Michael Jackson was just in this store.” Mary spoke, she was still in shock.
You nodded, still staring out the glass doors. The words you exchanged were lingering in your mind. You were so focused on the thought of going out to dinner with Michael, that Mary and Angela sounded so far away.
Angela waved a hand in your face, “how do you know Michael Jackson?!”
You quickly snapped out of it, “sorry,” you turned to look at them. “I don’t really know him.”
They looked at each other, confused, and then looked back at you each with an eyebrow raised.
“Well… Okay, we met randomly at a food place that I love to go to, and he happened to be there too.” You responded, trying to come up with a good explanation.
Mary put her hands on her hips, “that’s it? Then how does he know where you work?”
You sighed, “my sister told him. God knows why she would do that.”
“So what did he say?” Angela questioned.
Panic set in, you couldn’t tell them that you were going out to dinner with him. They were going to make a big deal out of it and it wasn’t a big deal. He asked you to go out as friends. You just met the man, of course it would be as just friends. You tried to come up with the best lie possible.
“Oh, um, he just… Uh… He wanted to um… contact someone here about finding a good time to come to the store when there weren't so many people around. Maybe he wants something for an award show, I don’t know.” You shrugged.
Your heart was racing, you were praying to the heavens that they believed the bullshit that you just told them.
Mary squinted her eyes slightly but then shrugged, “well I hope he comes back when I’m here! He is so cute!”
“Me too! He’s even cuter in person, oh my God.” Angela squealed.
You exhaled deeply. Good, they bought it.
You didn’t know why, but hearing them talk about how attractive he was brought up a bit of jealousy. Crazy to feel that way when you didn’t even know him.
Later that day
As soon as 6 pm hit, you locked the store doors and rushed to get home. The warm breeze hit your skin so nicely as you drove home with the windows completely down. You had butterflies in your stomach just thinking about picking up your phone and Michael Jackson being on the other line.
You were practically sprinting to the elevator just to make it. Why did your apartment have to be on the 10th floor?
It was 6:28 pm.
Finally, you made it to your door. You fumbled with your keys, struggling to open the door. You could hear the phone ringing.
“Shit.” You muttered, “6:30 on the dot.”
Through the struggle you managed to make it in, you immediately dropped all of your stuff on the floor and ran to the phone.
“Hello?” You were out of breath; you leaned up against the wall.
“Hi. I’m sorry, did I call at a bad time?” He asked, apologetically. He sounded so shy over the phone.
You giggled softly, “uh no, I was just struggling with my keys, and I wasn’t expecting you to call at 6:30.” You started to twirl the phone cord between your fingers.
“I guess I was being too eager,” he laughed nervously.
“Not at all, so, where are we going tonight?” You asked.
“Wherever you’d like.” He responded.
“Oh no, don’t put all this pressure on me!” You groaned playfully.
He chuckled, “we can go to Mr. Gonzalez’s, if you want. I still want a good recommendation so that I don’t get the enchiladas again. They’re my favorite, but I’m open to trying something new.”
“I’d love to, I can meet you there. I live really close.” You replied.
“A-actually,” He stuttered softly. He was getting nervous again. “I was thinking I could pick you up.”
You bit your lip, “okay…” You swooned.
And that’s how it all started. You and Michael started going to the taco shop almost every weekend if he wasn’t busy. Mr. Gonzalez would lock the door as soon as you arrived so no one would bother you. You made sure to give him a call ahead of time to see it was a good time to stop by. And Michael always made sure to pick you up. You were constantly talking on the phone. He would visit you at your apartment where you would watch movies together and play games.
Before Michael was the love of your life, he was your best friend. And even though at first everything had to be a secret for your own sanity and privacy. It was the best secret that belonged to both of you.

hii! im a new fan of yours and i am in LOVE with your writing. i recently had an idea that came into my mind after reading a fic of vampire michael (idk if it was urs or not) and i want to see more of that genre, making me come to the conclusion of vampire michael x detective reader. so my original story was to have murders go on in the city of la and detective reader is on the case, problem is — its a supernatural mystery. a few days after the crime, michael shows up in town trying to reconnect before his next concert. so once michael eventually confesses to being a vampire, she doesnt know if she can trust him. while this is going on, a new heartthrob enters with charm. idk im jusr rambling ideas rn, but let me know what you think about this stuff!
hi!! well thank you so much!! i really appreciate that 🤎🫶🏼 it was not mine, i’ve never written a vampire mystery story but i can definitely try it as an imagine to see how it goes! very out of my comfort zone but i am definitely down to try! 🥰

August 6th, 1984 - 18 weeks pregnant - 1 month into The Victory Tour
You were laying in bed, reading a magazine with headphones over your belly. At 18 weeks, your baby could now hear outside noises, you wanted them to hear Michael’s voice through his music while he was away.
“Baby?” It was Michael, you could hear him running up the stairs. He swung the door open, “Hi beautiful girl.” He smiled widely.
He finally had a break long enough to be able to visit again. The last time you saw him was on July 24th, even just a week apart felt like forever.
“Michael!” You exclaimed, trying to get up from the bed.
He giggled and walked over to you. “No no, stay there. Let me lay down with you.” Michael got into bed with you, gave you a kiss and then kissed your belly.
“The baby is growing kind of fast.” You said.
“What are you playing?” He asked, tapping on the headphones.
“Your music, I want the baby to hear daddy’s voice while you’re away.” You grinned softly.
He blushed and rubbed your cheek with his thumb, “aw my beautiful girl. You’re so sweet. Do you want to go somewhere today?”
You shook your head and cuddled into him, nuzzling your face into his neck, “I want to stay here with you.”
“Baby, have you left the house at all?” He asked.
You exhaled deeply, “I haven’t gone out in a week, it’s just too much. Everyone wants to catch a picture of me. I just wish you were here.” Your voice cracked.
Michael pulled back a little to look at you, tears were already streaming down your face. “My beautiful girl, I’m so sorry I had to leave you to do this tour. I’m sorry we only get a few days together. I keep hoping it'll go by faster.” He gently wiped your tears.
You looked into his beautiful doe eyes, “it’s not your fault, I just hate going out. Especially without you. Maybe we can just go for a drive, pick up food at a taco shop?” You smiled sweetly.
He grinned widely, “ooooh, I love that idea. Baby wants Mexican food?”
You nodded, “mhm! I’m desperate for carne asada fries.”
“Let’s go get you those fries, I could definitely go for some enchiladas.” He responded.
You practically jumped up from the bed, that best that you could at least, so that you could get dressed.
“Baby, you don’t have to change your clothes, you look so beautiful in anything you’re wearing. Even if it’s just lounge wear.” He said, pulling you into his arms, your growing belly keeping you from getting too close.
You giggled softly and looked down. He placed his hand on your belly then knelt down to give the baby a kiss. Michael was beaming with pure joy. He couldn’t believe how much the baby had grown since he last saw you. Even if it was only a week.
“Well, if I can stay in this then I’m ready to go.” You smiled.
He took you by the hand and you both walked outside to the car where Bill was already waiting for you. “Well look who it is!” Bill exclaimed as held his arms open for a hug.
You smiled and walked right into his arms, embracing him as tight at the baby would allow it.
“How are you feeling?” He asked.
You shrugged slightly, “I’m okay. Glad to see you both here. The house is a lot quieter without Michael around, it feels weird. How are you? Is Michael behaving?”
“Behaving? Michael won’t quit with his pranks, you know him!”
Michael giggled softly, “Bill! What do you mean? I am a perfect angel.”
Bill chuckled and shook his head, “whatever you say.”
You all got into the car to make your way to your favorite taco shop. In this moment, being in Michael’s arms again, everything felt so perfect. If only he didn’t have to leave again. You just wanted the tour to be over so that he could be with you.
August 29th, 1984 - Michael’s Birthday - 21 weeks pregnant
You woke up earlier than usual. It was getting harder to fall asleep and stay asleep now that you were further along in the pregnancy. The cravings were becoming more intense with how often you got hungry.
The sun was peeking through the sheer curtains. You slowly sat up in the bed, and planted your feet on the carpet. You took a deep breath and pushed yourself up so that you could walk over to the bathroom to get in the shower.
While you waited for the water to warm up, you looked at your bump in the mirror and then you felt the baby kick. It made you smile but it also brought up sadness because of how badly you wanted Michael to be with you. Especially because today was his birthday and you didn’t know if he would be able to visit. All of the tension from the tour had been putting Michael through so much stress that he needed to get medical attention.
You tried to push the stress to the back of your mind because you didn’t want it to affect the baby. The water from the shower felt so nice that you didn’t want to get out but you couldn’t stay in there forever. Once you dried yourself off and put on your robe, you made your way back into the bedroom.
“My beautiful girl.”
“Babe! You’re here!” You began to tear up, “I thought you wouldn’t be able to make it.”
“There was no way I was going to spend my birthday away from you.” He responded, pulling you into his arms.
You wrapped your arms around him, buried your face in his chest and took a deep breath, “I missed the smell of your cologne. Having it sprayed on a t-shirt isn’t enough.”
“I know baby, but I’m here now. How are you feeling?” He asked.
You shrugged, “I’m okay, but I’m worried about you. The fact that you needed medical attention from all the stress is crazy, babe.” You sighed deeply.
He scratched the back of your head gently, “I’ll be okay, plus I’m with you now. You are my medicine.”
You planted a gentle kiss on his chest. “I should get dressed.” You said.
“Or… You can stay like this.” He smiled mischievously.
“Michael…” You blushed, and looked away.
Despite Michael always telling you how beautiful you were, you still felt insecure about your body. He knew about your struggles with your body image, which is why he always tried his best to make you feel good.
He lifted your chin slightly. “Hey… I know what you’re thinking about…”
You sighed deeply, “I just don’t feel my best.”
“Baby, you have no idea how absolutely beautiful you are. Your body is changing, that’s normal, you know that. You are growing our baby in there. I’ve said it before but I will repeat it as many times as I have to… You are a goddess!” He responded as he kissed your lips softly. “Now… How about you let me see that beautiful smile of yours.”
Of course, you couldn’t help but smile. Michael always knew what to say to make you feel better. He was perfect and he didn’t know it.
You walked towards the closet, Michael thought you were going to get dressed but instead you pulled out a present from behind your clothes.
“A present? Baby… You didn’t have to do that.” He said with a slight pout.
“Happy birthday babe.” You smiled.
He grinned and began to unwrap the box. “Is this… A SUPER SOAKER!”
“And I got one for me!” You laughed as you pulled the other one out of the closet.
“Oh so we’re having a little battle then.” He said, raising an eyebrow at you.
You nodded, “yeah and I’m gonna kick your butt!”
“You wish!” He giggled as he pulled you into him and lifted you up, covering you in kisses.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Between laughs you and Michael both said “Come in.”
It was Janet, “am I interrupting?”
“Not at all, we’re just playing around.” You responded.
She smiled, “I need you both to put on something nice. Toy and I have a surprise.”
You and Michael looked at each other, and then back at Janet. “A surprise?” Michael asked.
She nodded, “yes now please, get ready!” She responded as she walked out and closed the door behind her.
You squinted your eyes, you knew they were planning something but you didn’t know what it could possibly be. And it definitely had to be for Michael, it was his birthday after all.
“I guess we have to get ready.” You said as you walked back over to the closet. And then the baby started kicking again. You turned around, “babe! Quick, get over here! The baby is kicking!”
He rushed over and put his hand on your belly. You gently placed your hand over his. He smiled so widely and teared up a bit. It was his first time feeling the baby kick. It was pure magic to him.
“The baby might be a dancer!” He giggled as he gently rubbed your belly where the baby wouldn’t stop kicking.
You smiled, “I think the baby likes to hear daddy’s voice. Just like I do.”
Michael put on his usual black slacks showing his white socks, a white button down shirt and a tie. You decided to go for something that was perfect for the summer weather and put on a white maxi dress.
He took your hand and placed a gentle kiss on it. “Ready?” He asked.
You nodded and kissed his soft lips. You both made your way down the stairs and were met with all your friends gathered around, waiting for you.
“Surprise!” They all shouted.
Janet and Latoya stood at the bottom of the stairs with the biggest smiles on their faces. They planned a baby shower for you and Michael. Everything was Disney themed, something you and Michael shared a great love for.
You began to tear up but the tears quickly started to fall. Michael pulled you into his arms and kissed your forehead.
“I’m sorry,” you giggled softly and wiped your tears. “Hormones are on high alert.”
Everyone else chuckled. Janet and Latoya hugged you both tightly.
“I love you both so much.” You whispered.
"One more surprise." Latoya said softly as she pulled away.
And just then, your sister walked out from another room. The tears started falling again.
"Jo!" You shouted as you practically jumped into her arms.
"Hey little sis," she said as she embraced you tightly. "I'm so sorry I've been working so much, it's impossible to come see you when they keep sending me away. I know phone calls aren't enough."
"I don't care, I'm just glad you're here right now. A phone call is enough, I promise. You're the best sister ever. Please don't forget that." You responded.
The baby shower was something out of your dreams. You were in shock for the rest of the day because you truly couldn’t believe they planned all of this for you. Your life growing up was hard after losing your dad. You lost your mom soon after, the doctors said her broken heart consumed her. Both of your parents passed away and you were just 14 years old. You and your sister had to go on living without the greatest people in your lives, your best friends. But who would’ve thought that meeting Michael on a Friday afternoon in the middle of summer in your favorite taco shop in 1981 would bring you to this moment… Spending the day with him and the family you never thought you and Jo would have.

“Beautiful, are you ready?” Michael shouted from the living room. “I don’t want to be late!”
I slowly stepped out from the bedroom in another dress that I made special for the occasion.
His jaw dropped and his eyes widened, “well isn’t my girlfriend just the most beautiful girl in the world.” He said as he got up and grabbed me by the waist.
“Michael…” I said as I blushed.
He softly kissed my neck, “I wish we didn’t have to leave so that I could take this off of you.”
Goosebumps covered my whole body, his words lit a fire in me. It made me wish we didn’t have to go either. But Michael had nominations, so we couldn’t exactly miss out.
I raised an eyebrow at him, “Oh really?”
He bit his lip and nodded, “Mhm.”
There was just one thing I definitely wasn’t looking forward to, and that was seeing Diana. I hadn’t seen her since the AMAs last year and I wasn’t ready to see her tonight. The thought of having to interact with her annoyed me. I was already overthinking it and Michael could tell.
“Okay well, let's go!” I forced my smile and started to walk towards the door.
He quickly grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me back into his arms, “Wait a minute, what’s wrong?”
I shook my head, “nothing’s wrong, what makes you think something’s wrong?”
He squinted, “uh, I’m your boyfriend. I’ll always know when something is wrong, angel.”
I slightly rolled my eyes, “I’m just… Not excited to see Diana tonight.” I huffed.
“B, my sweet angel, I don’t want you to ever worry about her. She is nothing to me, and I won’t let her make you feel bad. You’re my girlfriend and the world knows it.” He responded, stroking my cheek with his thumb.
“Okay,” I spoke softly.
He held my face in his hands and kissed me gently, but then deeper and more passionately. His lips were so perfect. I moaned very quietly against his mouth. He pulled away and smiled.
“Oh… Maybe we can be a little late.” He whispered.
His hands went from my face, to the zipper of my dress, and down to the small of my back. His touch sent a shiver through my whole body. He pulled me into him and picked me up, placing his hand on my butt to hold me up. Now he was placing kisses all over my neck and collar bone.
“Babe, you said you didn’t want to be late.” I muttered under my breath.
“I don’t care about being late right now,” He spoke softly against my skin, his voice was sweet.
He was teasing me. Gentle but making sure I knew how much he wanted me. I wanted him so bad, I couldn’t even hide it. After our first time a few days ago, it was all I could think about. He treated me with such sweetness.
He placed his hands on my hips and gripped me tightly, by now my dress had fallen off my shoulders and my bra was exposed. He planted soft kisses on my chest.
“M-Michael…” I moaned, trying to catch my breath. “We need to g-go.”
“I’m sorry, I just can’t resist you. But I guess we can continue this later.” He smiled, as he helped me slip my dress back up.
I stood up and turned around so that he could zip it back up for me. And then I did something I never thought I would do. I slipped off my lace underwear and slipped them in his pocket.
He blushed bright red, this time I was getting him back. It was my turn to tease him.
We made our way down to the lobby of my building to meet Bill so we could get to the AMAs on time. We were definitely cutting it close. There I was completely bare under my dress with only a bra, aching for Michael and he could definitely tell. He ran his hand down to the small of my back while we were in the elevator. My body was on fire. I needed him desperately.
Once we arrived, the paparazzi went wild with pictures. It was insanely blinding. But this time, they knew my name. This time they knew I was Michael’s girlfriend, and I was beaming. My smile never dropped. He held on to my hand, as we pushed through all the flashes.
But when we walked in, my heart dropped. There she was. I squeezed Michael’s hand and he rubbed the back of my hand lightly with his thumb. “It’s okay baby, just ignore her.” He whispered.
“Michael! There you are!” Diana exclaimed.
He smiled politely, not letting go of my hand. “Hi.”
“Oh, you brought B.” Her fake smile came through.
“Well,” He chuckled, a little annoyed at her words, “She is my girlfriend so why wouldn’t I bring her?”
She shrugged, “Oh Michael, it’s nothing. Don’t take it so personally.”
My face was on fire. Why couldn’t she just leave him alone? She had a grip on him and he was trying to escape.
I smiled, a real and mischievous smile, “Anyway, Michael, we should sit. I feel bad we were late because of the… You know.” I blushed, holding back a giggle at the memory of what we had done before we left my apartment.
Diana scoffed and her jaw slightly dropped. Michael blushed and bit his lip as we walked away from her.
“Oh my God, I can’t believe you.” Michael whispered in my ear as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
I laughed a little harder, throwing my head back. “I couldn’t help it. I wanted her to back off.”
He smiled widely, “I think it worked.” He said as he softly kissed my cheek.
I knew she was watching us as we walked away. I could feel her eyes on us, burning into us. She was jealous and I thought it was hilarious.
Michael won two awards that night and I couldn’t be any more proud of him. He truly deserved this. It took me back to the night we met. “I Can’t Help It” playing in Studio 54. I would hold that song close to me forever.
For his second award, he kept his beautiful brown eyes on me as he gave his speech. My heart fluttered. And his last words of his acceptance speech were, “I want to dedicate this win to my beautiful girlfriend, truly my angel in disguise. I love you, baby.”
I blew a kiss at him, the smile on my face never left. I could feel my face getting warm from blushing.
After the show ended, I quickly grabbed his hand to rush out. I never gave him a chance to say goodbye to Diana, or anyone for that matter. I just needed to get out of there. Michael got us a hotel room for the night just in case we were followed by anyone. At least it would be to the hotel and not my apartment.
Michael’s Point of View
She looked so beautiful tonight. The dress was perfect on her, she knew the hold she had on me and I loved it. She was so perfect to me.
Once we arrived at the hotel, we all made our way up to our rooms. I made sure Bill was a few rooms down, I definitely didn’t want him to hear us tonight. It would be too embarrassing to face him the next day.
We couldn’t get into the room fast enough, I was aching for her. I needed her. To kiss her beautiful lips, to hold her in my arms, to make love to her. As soon as the door closed behind us I placed my hand on her neck and pulled her in for a kiss. I couldn’t hold back my longing for her.
She moaned very softly but loud enough for me to hear her. It sent a shiver down my spine. Her lips were so sweet.
“Michael,” she whispered as she pulled away slightly. “I need you. Take this off of me. Now.” She was begging now.
I picked her up and carried her to the bed. I unzipped her dress slowly because I didn’t want to ruin the dress she worked so hard on. I reached into my pocket, pulled her underwear out and dangled them in front of her. “You’re so naughty.” I whispered, and slowly slid her dress off of her.
She blushed bright red, “You teased me, I had to tease you.” She responded.
“No more teasing now, I want you.” I spoke.
“I’m all yours.” She said her voice was so soft and sweet. Full of innocence.
I kissed her gently, laying soft kisses all over her neck down to her chest. All she had on now was her bra. Her body was so mesmerizing. She was a goddess and she didn’t even know it. I slid my hand under her upper back to unhook her bra. I gently took it off her and tossed it to the side.
As she began to unbutton my shirt, my breath hitched, almost as if it got caught in my chest. I was nervous, but I didn’t want to show it. She made me incredibly nervous. Once she was able to pull my shirt off, she ran her soft fingers down my chest to my stomach.
I immediately got shy. I was self conscious because of my vitiligo but she always made me feel better about it. She sat up slightly, and kissed my chest where a spot was already slightly lighter than the rest of my skin.
“You are perfect to me.” She whispered.
My cheeks got red. God, I love her so much. I slowly took off the rest of my clothes as she kept her eyes on me. Her soft brown eyes, her perfect brown eyes.
She laid back on the bed but I shook my head. I held out my hand to pull her back towards me.
“Not on the bed, angel.” I whispered softly in her ear.
She raised an eyebrow, “where?”
“In the shower… If you're okay with that.” I responded.
“Absolutely.” She nodded and bit her lip.
I took her by the hand and walked her into the bathroom. I turned on the water and while we waited for it to warm up, I pulled her close to me and kissed her softly from her lips to her jaw and then her neck.
She moaned softly, “Michael.” She muttered letting out a light gasp.
“Yes, angel?” I mumbled, my mouth still on her skin.
“It feels so good when you kiss me.” She responded.
I smiled, “it feels so good when I kiss you.”
We stepped into the shower, and I couldn’t help but pick her up and hold her up against the glass wall. She wrapped her legs around my waist and I held tightly onto her thighs. She pressed her lips to mine, softly at first but then with more passion.
I moaned against her mouth. She was driving me crazy. “Are you ready?” I asked her, tucking a strand of her now wet hair behind her ear.
She nodded slowly, “Yes baby, I need you.”
I bit my lip and gently grabbed myself. I was so hard, and all I wanted was to be inside of her. I aligned it with her and began making love to her.
She moaned so loudly, it drove me insane. I could feel her nails slightly digging into my back, she was holding back.
“Please don’t stop.” She muttered under her breath. Soft gasps escaping through her beautiful lips.
She didn’t have to tell me not to stop, I couldn’t stop. I was obsessed with her. She was the only one I wanted to make love to. The only one I saw myself with.
By now, we were both moaning, our voices and bodies in sync with each other. We reached climax together.
I slowly put her down, she got on her toes and wrapped her arms around my neck. I kissed her softly.
“You have no idea how much I love you. You are my everything, my sweet angel.” I spoke, running my fingers through her hair.
She smiled so sweetly, “I love you more.” She responded as she laid her forehead on my chest.
I kissed the top of her head, “let me wash your hair.”
She nodded and turned around.
After we finished our shower, I slowly dried her off and picked her up to carry her to the bed. She giggled softly and buried her face in my neck.
We both put on our pajamas and cuddled close under the covers.
Falling asleep with her in my arms was absolutely perfect. Our bodies fit perfectly together. We were made for each other. God truly did have our souls meet first.
