also I know I just said "young" but what if he's not young and the Blood God offered him a deal after he already took over smpe. and with the new power he was transferred to dsmp. if I'm trying to make it more "canon"-ish.

but also consider the possibility that Techno, indeed, was young when he took over smpe!
