You know, I’m a plus-sized girl, but I always find myself saying, when I see a plus-sized celebrity on a red carpet, “oh, she looks lovely…for a plus-sized dress.” Because, let’s be real, there aren’t a lot of well designed dresses for plus women out there. They’re usually just larger forms of styles for thinner women…

But Adele? Oh my god. She just looked lovely. It was so refreshing. I finally really have someone in media I can look at and admire style wise, because she is so smartly dressed and styled in a way to make her look her best based on her own body, not based on how she should fit into a currently fashionable look. That isn’t a “fuck society” statement. That’s just me, so absolutely thrilled to not have to qualify something for a change.

This might not make sense, but for me, it’s a big deal.
