::Windproof Warm-Lined Pants by Uniqlo, $20-40:: I am breaking a bit of a rule here, because these are currently sold out (except in Wine), but I strongly suspect they will bring them back and it’s worth the heads-up. These are basically stealth ski pants I can wear to work (and frequently do). They are super warm and have MAD pockets, including zip pockets *within* the front pockets. THEY RUN SMALL. I’m usually a Medium or Large at Uniqlo but had to go XL on these because the Ls were a little tight and *noticeably* short. But they’re a life-saver when it’s freezing out!

::Dress Pant Yoga Pants by Betabrand, $60-70::

@betabrand does a lot of functional fashion. Mostly when I order their stuff I send it back--it’s all a little dumpy on me, and not cheap--but they FINALLY started putting pockets on their Dress Pant Yoga Pants so I had to try them. I got the Six-Button Boot Cut pants (left), which have two ample front pockets and are cute in addition to being super comfortable. And now they have a 7-pocket version (right)! Still in the funding phase so they won’t ship until May, but I might have to buy a pair in black.

::Camii Mia Women’s Winter Slim Fit Fleece Jeans, $36.00:: Babies, it is cold out. Well, it’s BEEN cold, and will be cold again, and this warm snap has given me time to think. So I’m posting again! Not just dresses--anything functional and cute that I think people should know about. I’m wearing these jeans right now and they are coooooommmmmfy and pretty cute. The fleece inside feels amazing and I was toasty warm on my 40-degree walk to the subway. (I’ve started recording morning temperatures because I always forget what numbers necessitate what levels of bundling up.) They have plenty of stretch, come in a few colors, are very affordable, and are sized by waist measurement. (I had to go up 2 inches from what I usually wear at Uniqlo, FYI.) If anything they have too MANY pockets in that one of the back pockets also has a smaller internal pocket that does not fit my phone so I keep getting confused. Not actually a complaint. RECOMMEND.

::Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme in Brique and Bronze Rose, $18.00:: These are some of my favorites. They’re not 100% transfer-proof, but they are long-wear, they apply pretty easily (doe foot), the colors are gorgeous, and they smell AMAZING (like sugar cookies). Many colors are available via Amazon Prime, but not all of them--and the colors are shown way more faithfully on Beauty Bay and the Jouer site. You can also get shimmery lip toppers, and gift sets of minis.

::Milani Amore Matte Lip Crème in Devotion and Amore, $7.99:: These aren’t 1000% snog-proof, but they are ALMOST transfer-proof, and WAY easier to apply than bombproof stuff like Beauty Bakerie. (These are my #3 for ease of application, behind Wet n Wild Liquid Catsuit and Primark PS Beauty Kiss Proof, both of which are great but transfer significantly more.) I wore Devotion (left) to a rehearsal and ate an entire container of sliced pineapple and my actor was shocked that I looked exactly the same when we left rehearsal. So a tiny bit might get on your coffee cup but you will still look great. Also, Milani is cheap, ethical, and available at almost every pharmacy chain. They are two cents cheaper on Amazon but I linked to Walgreens/Duane Reade just because they so often have BOGO sales. Yes, the color on the right is called Amore, even though the line of lipsticks is also called Amore. Yes, that is the best photo I have.
