On discord, it is a KEKW emote from a streamer server so I can share my laughs

What is your current comfort show/movie/book?

I'm bending the rules and going game and that would be the Red Dead Redemption series. Anything from it: gameplay, soundtrack, characters; it's a huge comfort to me from childhood

Song I've had on repeat this week?

I had to do some reading for a recertification course this week so I've had Do Not Seek Absolution from the Red Dead Redemption 2 Soundtrack or Wicked Game by Chris Issak on repeat. Gotta have the chill vibes

Oddly specific thing that brings me joy?

Observing handwriting habits of other people. I don't know why I do this but it does reveal quite a bit by someone by just how they write

What smell instantly makes me happy?

My cat's scent. As weird as it is, she has a nice smell to her coat

There is a 2010 movie called Burlesque with Christina Aguilera and Cher and I was and still am fascinated by the dances and songs and it will never come up in regular conversation

Definitely a night owl in the sense that my entire sleep schedule shifted over to my fuckass hours so I'm not actually sleeping in at all, I just sleep through the morning for my average 7 hours

What is my profession and do I like it?

I am an exhibit educator at my state's aquarium and I like being able to yap about animals and stuff but it has its moments sometimes. It's dealing with the general public at a touch exhibit full of stingrays so. I am working towards hopefully merging into the behind the scenes stuff tho

What is the origin of your blog name?

Xbox 360 era where little me used the system’s name generator to come up with a username. It was either on the second or third refresh that I landed on a name that I liked and it’s been my username for pretty much everything ever since.

What is your 'I will always order this' food?

Anything with fries but if I’m ever near a Wingstop and I’m feeling hungry…ten piece wing combo (Korean BBQ and Mild wing flavors, please!) with fries and a Coke Zero.

What is your overused emoji?

When I still had Discord Nitro, it was the KEKW emote. Now that I’m out of Nitro, I’ve been tormenting my friends with a KEKW sticker my iPhone made for me. They don’t like it xD

What is your current comfort show/movie/book?

It really depends on my hyperfixations at the moment but most importantly the world-building/canon divergence/romance ideas that spawn in my head when I really get invested in something. For a while it was Rise of the Guardians, then watching underrated horror movies like Wishmaster (obsessed with the movie novel), and now I’m currently torn between Predator: Badlands (watched it twice in theaters so it’s left an impact) and Project Hail Mary that I just finished reading.

Song I've had on repeat this week?

Been listening to “Warped Obsession” from Capcom’s Haunting Ground soundtrack. Also a tie between “Not Tomorrow”, “White Noise (Actual Noise), “End of Small Sanctuary”, and Theme of Laura (Reprise) from the Silent Hill series as I’m currently doing a playthrough of the Silent Hill 2 remake and if there’s one thing I knew about Silent Hill before playing it, it is the soundtracks being so, so, so good.

Oddly specific thing that brings me joy?

It wasn’t until my 24th birthday when my boyfriend got me an Albert Wesker sticker that I…might be just obsessed with stickers, particularly of my favorite characters. I have covered my laptop with stickers and I’m currently on a mission to cover my iPad with them as well. My latest sticker I just ordered and eagerly await for will be of Ryland Grace and Rocky from Project Hail Mary!

What smell instantly makes me happy?

McDonald’s coffee. 4 sugar, 4 cream, and by the time I go to pick it up, it’s not overly hot but it’s not lukewarm either. It’s always perfect at my local McDonald’s and I can’t thank them enough.

What's something I loved as a kid that I secretly love now?

(First and foremost, bestie, you are so real for bringing up Burlesque in the year of our Lord 2026 and we should totally talk about it one day because I was obsessed with singing Cher’s Last of Me song when I was little and watched it for the first time with my sisters)

For my actual answer, I’d have to say the first ten-fifteen minutes of the 2012 movie Dark Shadows (From the flashback of how Barnabas becomes a vampire all the way to when Victoria reaches Collinwood). Watched it in theaters when it came out, thought it was good. Watched it again last year when YouTube offered it for free with ads and I legitimately wish the movie had the same tone as it did for those first few minutes because those shots of the train and Victoria going through the town with “Nights in White Satin” by The Moody Blues being played over…If I was hyperfixated on Dark Shadows, I would absolutely love to try to capture that tone in a fanfic one day xD

Currently work as a server for a family restaurant though I’ve been hoping to land a job involving either books or art (got my BFA and the job market for artists is not great lol). I mainly focus on photography so I’m really hoping to get a steady gig as a photographer. I have been thinking of doing drawing commissions as I’ve been drawing more recently so here’s hoping!

Thia and Dek bathe together because Yautja aren't so reserved when it comes to their bodies, and Synths don't really give a crap about nudity. Thia just swims around the giant hot springs while Dek is submerged in the hot water in a meditative trance. Thia will poke him just enough for him to lift his head out of the water and glare at her, skin steaming as he reaches over to grab her, only for Thia to giggle and swim away, prompting him to swim after her, the two of them unaware that Bud, now fully grown, is about to perform a catastrophic cannonball that's going to turn the hot springs into a tidal wave.
