ULTA Review

Hi there :D

so about two weeks ago, ULTA had a sale and I obviously caved in and bought things!

review about the products and savings with EBATES!

although i have bought from the physical store numerous times, this is the first time i've ever ordered from ULTA online. (free shipping yay!) 

the box when it came in today. unfortunately the box went through the worst lol fortunately, ULTA packs their things with loads of bubble wrap and those airbag things. so nothing was damaged, yay!

plus my cash back amount :D (OTL i shopped so much in NOV) 

during the sale, it was $5 off $10+ purchase plus free shipping! and EBATES had a double cash back deal on ULTA with 8% cash back! so, for an order that was previously $17.47, it came down to $12.16 with EBATES~

the products! everything was all nicely packaged and the two tubes were even taped so that they wouldn't accidentally open during shipment. so nice TvT

palladio oil absorbing rice powder (transparent) 

this was on sale for BOGO 50% which is a pretty good deal for me because i can get one for me and another one for my sister. this was one of the cheapest finishing powders on sale at ULTA. i pretty much bought this so that i can turn my lipsticks into matte lipsticks lol. 

i can’t compare how well it works as a mattifying/finishing powder because this is the first one I’ve used. but TBH it works! and it smells nice TvT like a faint fragranced baby powder. the one i bought is transparent. but unlike other transparent powders (which are white) this one is a slight pale pink. but when applied there isn’t a color? my skin isn’t dark enough for the pale powder color to make a huge color difference. it comes with it’s own cute little puff pad! :D when you lift up the pad, the holes are taped so nothing is spilling everywhere until you have it~

the packaging is quite clunky and thick though. it’s an inch high (3cm). and 2 1/8 inch length and width (5.5 cm) but nice. it’d take quite some space in your makeup bag. plus it seems like it would open up on it’s own. i’d recommend moving it from it’s original container to a small container for travel. (or put tape over it?)

nice packaging. new item is sealed with a foil! :D haven’t used it yet but will soon /SHRINK RAY PORES

freeman charcoal & black sugar facial polishing mask

this is the cheapest i’ve seen the charcoal mask. saw it was my local Walgreens for $4.99 ): boo! apparently this is good but yeah haven’t used it yet lol it's a really dark and grainy thing (grainy because of the sugar! :D)

variety sampler

you get samples for each order you put on ULTA. you get three choices, fragrance, skincare or variety sampler. i chose the variety sampler and got loreal color treatment shampoo + conditioner. and this matrix oil wonder for colored hair. i don’t have colored hair OTL totally choosing the skincare sampler next time!

happy with the things i got! and that it finally came in after 10 DAYS! saved mucho money with EBATES and ULTA's coupon. whenever a really good sale from them pops up, i'm gonna let you all know (:
