Hi, I don’t know when this was sent because tumblr doesn’t provide that info >:( but I’m sorry for the wait! I’ve only just discovered how full my inbox is! (thanks tumblr for letting me know! #sarcasm) I don’t have a non-barbie version of the s5 skintone and unfortunately I would not be able to make one as I have no idea how to or exactly what it is! I’m assuming you mean with the nibbly bits? The original blend is of two skins that didn’t have those so I’m not sure how I would mix in another skin. Sorry!

As some of you know, I’ve been desperately seeking this old sim, Luna Mulberry by @mayberries (I think), for several years. I finally had the time today to tear through all my old files to determine that I really don’t have a copy of her hiding anywhere. :( However, I do have copies of the triplets she had in my game. So using the one that looked most like her, I reverse engineered a bit and this is my result. I’m pretty happy with it. :D

I got a couple of asks like “How to make my game look beautiful? I’m new to the Sims 2, any tips? Why is your game so bright? The grass so green? The water so reflective??” and so on. I decided to make a guide for new ts2 players that will help to answer all such questions. I went from having a pretty decent week to the worst day ever. I don’t even want to play my game, but I also don’t want to just sit on the couch and stare at the blank TV. :(

A small update on the Annas backup saga, I have saved 66 posts so far. *toots own horn* I’m still in 2009, but I’m in December so almost to 2010. The posts are starting to get more picture heavy so that is gonna slow me down, but gonna keep shouldering forward. It will be worth it! Then it will just be saving all the picture on Flickr, reuploading all her downloads to sfs, and getting everything back onto Dreamwidth. I’ll mess with formatting after that. :D

For saving all those livejournal posts, I highly suggest using The Way Back machine. It might actually be easier than trying to migrate every single post with it.
