Out for Food || Lydia and Drew
“I’m not sure, how about the beach?” Lydia suggested before calling over the waiter, once again, with their bill. Once the waiter made it to the table Lydia requested for the bill, he walked off and two minutes later returned with a small plastic tray, on it lay a receipt so Lydia pulled out her purse and paid her half of the bill, she looked up at Drew who was now pulling his cash out of his pockets. They both paid the bill and Lydia took it to the counter, she waited a moment to make sure they’d paid right before heading back to her table. “C’mon” she chirped grasping on the Drew’s hand like he did to her earlier, she pulled him out of the restaurant and to his car and waited for him to unlock it.
"The beach sounds perfect" Drew smiled, before he knew it he was outside, beside his car with a slightly impatient Autumn Lydia. Drew unlocked his car and opened the door for Lydia before making his way to his seat, he climbed in and his inserted his key before glancing over at Lydia "You look gorgeous tonight" he smiled. Drew started the engine and made his way to his beach, he slipped off his shoes leaving them behind in the car and made his way around to Lydia's side, "Ready" he smirked grasping on to Lydia's hand. Lydia's shoes were off now also so Drew closed the car door and locked it, he buried his key deep into his zip pocket but left his and Lydia's phones in the car. Drew began running down the soft sand, hand in hand with Lydia, he stopped midway and led on his back, gently pulling Lydia down with him. The stars were now out and the moon left a gentle glow across the beach. "It's so..." he thought for a moment, "...tranquil" he continued nodding at himself.
