Steam || Drew and Parrish

Jordan echoed Drew’s laughter when he felt her slap him. It was worth laughing happily over that Drew was actually here and she actually loved him and she seemed genuinely happy. He didn’t want to think about her being sad — hated knowing that even if they did spend the rest of their lives together happily, that his would soon come to an end and she would be left behind in his absence — it hurt him. Tearing his focus back to the present moment, where both he and Drew were entirely content in each other’s company, Jordan let out another laugh as he remarked, “A piggy back ride wouldn’t be as fun.” He turned and gently plopped Drew down onto his bed, slipping onto the mattress after her, his body hovering just above hers. Jordan pressed a quick, gentle kiss to her lips before getting back out of bed and returning to the closet; he slid out of his own wet jeans and boxers before throwing on a different pair of boxers and sweats. He didn’t realize just how dry his body, even his hair, felt — if he had, he might have found it incredibly weird considering he had just stepped out of the sopping wet downpour of his shower head — but he did not that he was warm, and therefore complied with Drew’s teasing remark of staying without a shirt. "I’m sorry again — this is definitely not how I imagined this going.” Jordan offered a small chuckle so Drew wouldn’t think he was still beating himself up over it.

Drew let out a giggle laugh when she was dropped onto the bed, and despite how quick the kiss was, she found herself chasing his lips though it was too late because he was already off the bed. She propped herself up on her elbows, a little mischievous smirk on her face as she watched him sliding out his clothes. She noticed how dry his hair seemed to look, and the smirk shifted into a curious frown but she didn't say much about it. His apology snapped her out of her thoughts and she frowned before she pushed herself off the bed and closed the distance between them. She pressed her palm to his chest and leaned in to finally get the kiss she chased earlier. "Don't apologize," She said against his lips before pulling back to press their foreheads together. She stayed like that for a few seconds before pushing away from him and grabbing the hem of her dripping shirt to lift it over her head, "If I've learned anything in the years that I've been alive, it's that nothing goes as plan." She said, smirking slightly and reaching back to unclasp her wet bra before sliding that off too and letting it fall to the floor. "But that doesn't necessarily mean things are ruined." She popped the button on her jeans and slid those off as well. A shiver ran through her when the air hit her still wet and cold body. "Now, get me something warm because I'm starving."
