Yoda: There’s another Skywalker Obi-Wan: *vague evasive bullshit* Luke: I get it! Leia’s my sister!
Well that was quick
It’s kind of handwaved by force mumbo jumbo if I remember correctly. Which is by no means the weirdest thing the force has done, if you count the force sensitive droid that blew up at the beginning of episode iv because it saw the future and realized it has to blow itself up so luke took r2 instead.
The extended universe is weird.
The best part is when Luke breaks the news and she’s like “I know, somehow I’ve always known.“ It’s like bitch did you know that when you were ramming your tongue down his throat?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t the concept of Force-sensitive Droids rendered non-canon? And the latter was more meant to mean she always saw him more as a brother. The kiss was mostly just to piss off Han. And likely never spoken of again after that night. But funny story: believe it or not, Star Wars fans back then were so unwilling to stop shipping Luke and Leia that they willingly turned it into an incest ship in their fanfics they submitted to fanzines.
Sadly that doesn’t surprise me even a little bit.

FCC chairman Ajit Pai said today that net neutrality was "a mistake" and that the commission is now "on track" to return to a much lighter style of regulation. "Our new approach injected tremendous...
This is one thing where I’m really opposed to Trump’s position. Destroying net neutrality will ruin the internet.
Now does net neu control online-only activities like throttling, or does it go into the actual problem of the monopolistic tendencies of the government funded ISPs?
It preserves what has been good policy since the beginning of the Internet, namely that all traffic is treated equally and ISPs can’t slow down or block certain traffic. Without it, we’ll have an Internet where you’ll have to pay extra to visit non-mainstream sites and where it will be either expensive or very hard to start up a new site if you’re not a wealthy corporation.
Net neutrality is the last line of defense against the Internet transforming into another corporate mess.
Are you saying we get Trump, our only way out of the TPP, and at the fucking cost of losing net neutrality?
Not necessarily. I was aware of his stance on the issue, but I believe the FCC can be made to reconsider by the same amount of public pressure that led to net neutrality being protected in the first place.
The first ever “champion” of a pie eating contest was an unnamed 6-year-old boy. In 1916, he managed to scoff a 10-inch pie in 15 seconds.
