By inspiring the viewer through powerful images, I want my art to be the conceptual deception that reveals reality.

This is my good friend Daniel Daniel is diagnosed with "Proteus Syndrome" which is a genetic mutation that causes overgrowth in bones, muscles, and tissues. At the age of 26 he has endured 103 surgeries to date. Through all the hardships he has endured Daniel has a beautiful appreciation for life.  We take so much for granted. Our vision, our hearing, our bodies... the list goes on. Most of us can't even imagine what it would be like growing up with something like Proteus syndrome. But when we do imagine it, we can appreciate life and how lucky we are just to be living it.  When you are born you inherit a genetic code that shapes the body you grow in to.
