far beyond tired of this way of living in all ways possible
cultural social isolation
gender unaided after years
need to work on it all, need to travel to places that actually have to do with me and my family and my life that aren’t fucking here
Just saw someone in a shop who resembled me already somewhat + what I will soon/should’ve already looked like. As usual it wasn’t a typical masculine looking cis man but could’ve been anyone from a lil androgynous cis male to a full on pre-everything mini trans girl.
It’s like. I know where I’m headed. I hate that this “not making sense” to anyone but me in this world held me back unnecessarily for so long.
I hate that I’m still here. in every way
I know what to do. I can see it rational. People's giving me words of advice but in the end I am the one who has to make the decision. I am the one who is held back by love and still has to make the decision.
been thinking about this lately...
character is severely injured, bleeding and unconscious on the battlefield. they're surrounded by healers and assistants working fast and doing what they can.
another character sees the situation and screams bloody murder, ready to run to other's side but they're held back by the rest of the group. they just kept wailing and screaming their name or things like 'please get up' or 'i can't lose you too' over and over again helplessly
And now I’ll be thinking about it :)
“No”, says the leader pulling the youngest team member back when they attempt to launch themselves at the whumper after being provoked. “Pick your battles.”
When character A rushes to get to their injured friend but everyone keeps trying to hold them back and they just keep on saying "that's my friend, that's my friend" getting more and more frantic when nobody appears to be listening
Words cannot describe my love for this trope
Trev’s blade sings as she draws it. Ignoring how her arm screams, she lifts it and aims for the fallen man’s neck. Never mind he’s unconscious, never mind he’s merely a pawn, never mind that he is probably dying. Her fury knows no bounds. As metal is about to meet flesh, another blade slices in and repels hers. The impact jars her arm. She cries out.
With blazing eyes, she searches for the culprit, expecting another enemy, another foe. Instead, she finds Cullen — her fucking Commander. “What in the Maker’s name are you doing?” she demands. Her arm throbs, but she doesn’t let go of her blade. She is gauging the distance to make another attempt, until Cullen plants himself between her and her target — Samson.
“I could ask you the same thing,” Cullen snaps before straightening. “Inquisitor.”
“You know full well what he has done!” Trev growls.
Cassandra cries out. Her blood pour from her wounds. The tender soft gaze she exchanges with Trev feels so final before she is cut down by Samson.
Trev grits her teeth as the images clears from the back of her eyelids. It is too close. She got there in time to pour a healing potion down Cassandra’s throat, closing the worst of her wounds, but if she had been one moment too late… Tears threaten to well up. No! She is the Inquisitor, she won’t cry. Cassandra is getting healed. She will be okay. She must be.
“I know,” Cullen sighs. “But I also know it isn’t his fault. Samson… Samson was a friend, is still a friend.”
Trev bit back a gasp at the confession.
“He has always put the mages’ welfare first. Even to his detriment. He was expelled from the Templar order because he was caught passing messages for a mage to his lover. You know what that means for a Templar. Leashed to the Order by lyrium, and cut off from that access, it’s the Maker’s will that he survived his withdrawals,” Cullen explains
“I don’t care! It’s none of my fucking business. He serves Corypheus.” Trev shoves Cullen aside, but he plants his feet. She can barely move him, not when she is exhausted and running on fumes. “Move, Commander!”
“His intentions are always good, pure.” Cullen pleads. “He deserves a chance.”
“No, he does not! I don’t care if he was shat from the Maker’s ass. He hurt Cassandra! He almost killed her!” Trev’s voice breaks. Emotions make her tremble.
Cullen moves to hug her, but she flinches back. Using it as an opportunity, she darts around him, her sword already lifting for the killing blow.
“Stop! Trev!”
Trev freezes. She turns and sees Cassandra leaning heavily against Leliana. “I’m okay…”
Trev drops her blade immediately and rushes over. Her tears spring free to stream down her face.
