For real though, her character design is actually so perfect, like months ago I saw fanart of her and thought "ooh she's so pretty" so I followed her on instagram. So then I actually did watch Villainous (she was literally the reason I decided to watch it in the first place btw) and literally her whole thing is making people fall in love with her and getting followers?! And I fell for it with no context?! If that's not peak character design I don't know what is!! 😤

Anyway here she is in two pink outfits I found on the internet, and two outfits from the show. My feed is about to become all her, get ready 😅

Mini Theory - Dem's Obsession

If the theories that Flug created, or genetically modified, or brainwashed Demencia are true: Then I think that the research Flug did for his thesis was what he used to make her fall in love with Black Hat.

We know that the formula used for Miss Heed's hypnotizing perfume was flawed, and Flug's isn't.

It would give an external explain as to why:

She could resist Heed's perfume

She glitched out when given the Spurn Detura Flower (made from the same formula)

She took off the Mascara Macabra without hesitation

Also, it could easily just be a stylistic choice, but Dem and Heed's brainwashed victims have similar glowing-pink, popping hearts:
