Ykno, given a history with my family, I hated kpop demon hunters. Though I did appreciate the character designs.

But when I found your blog, how you expressed your love for it, through fanart, merch buying and well, happy comments....well. I felt kinda bad. I decided to rewatch the film - and yes, to my personal standard, it has its cringe moments - but it healed something in me. I used to really love precure. Smile precure is my favourite, even now. Thanks.

Seriously. Because it made me realise that toxicity - even projected unto oneself - is bad. And the point of kpdh at its core, is fighting that.

So, yeah.

Thank you.

I'm honored that my love for kpdh and fanart gave you the push to rewatch the movie and glad that you went through a journey of realization and growth. This movie holds a special place in my heart, the characters and thier stories, the wonderful art and amazing animation, and the music.

The music/songs resonated so deeply with me personally, it reflected my struggles with my own self and family, the songs 'Golden' and 'What it sounds like' hit very close to my soul, hiding what people might criticize or not like me for, struggles of embracing all of my quirks/flaws and not a version of what others impose onto me..

Being just you in its entirety, beautiful with all your imperfections... So yes, kpop demon hunters will forever be in my heart as a life changing movie.
