Hey, been a WHILE, I know. My brain has been rotting elsewhere for a long time. Rest assured, this interest is just hibernating. Regardless, I have a small complaint.
Why are the wiki admins changing so much? And just making it worse? Like okay, it’s their wiki so technically they can do whatever they want but did anyone ask for ANY of these changes? I get it if it’s something like Dr Mort’s entry or they want a more accurate drawing of the characters but a lot of the changes, in my opinion, are unnecessary. Like Poppy having a dead wife and child (it could’ve been interesting but it feels added for the sake of it) or the Rubberfishes being just written out/killed off.
And of course, the random deletion of characters and trivia, especially without the permission of the creators of those characters. I don’t necessarily hate the idea of changing things that needed it, that’s completely fine, or adding polish but that does not seem to be what they’re doing from what I’ve seen/heard. I’m sorry, I just wanted to rant about this. I think the admins should be made more aware how these changes make the fans feel. Of course, I don’t want any harassment or anything but I don’t know, it just sucks. If you like some of these changes then cool but I don’t know, I’m not keen personally. If this fandom is still as dedicated as I remember then I’d like to think that change or archives or even projects with these characters pop up and go strong.
Not to mention how they literally just kept making more female characters to be killed off for the sake of a male's character arc 💀 like idk if killing the wife and daughter of Poppy off was their intention but it's seriously not a good look for them atp 😬

I don't mind them changing their mind about some things since it's their universe, BUT (there's a big but here) at this point, the OG wiki is important to many people in the fandom and should be preserved. I believe they should just make a reboot wiki atp cause destroying the Sacred Texts that are the source of a lot of people's nostalgia without having an option to see the classic version of the wiki is criminal in my humble opinion.
Hi. I'm posting this on a burner to protect myself from possible harassment, but I'm part of the Candle Cove fandom.
This post is a warning regarding Candlecove-Weaintdeadyet. Some of you may remember, they used to be pretty active on here before deleting their blog. However, I don't think they're going to stay out of the fandom for good. Basically, they've done some questionable and harmful things, and haven't been receptive when asked to change their behavior, so I made this post because I really don't want people to unknowingly put themselves in harm's way by being around them.
Since I don't want to drop such a long post in the tags, the actual content of this post starts in the reblogs. The complete reblog chain will be the pinned post on this blog.
Candlecove-weaintdeadyet (WADY) was part of the Candle Cove fandom on Tumblr up until they deleted their blog some time ago, likely because of the drama surrounding them. Even though he hasn’t posted on Tumblr anymore since then, it’s possible that he’ll continue to be part of the Candle Cove fandom, on Tumblr (if he returns) or other platforms. Some people in the fandom already know the details of this drama secondhand, and WADY has probably told his own side of the story to his friends and followers as well. However, because I honestly believe people have a good reason to know what WADY did, I’ve decided to publish the screenshots that show the truth of what really happened, so that people don’t have to rely on hearsay and can form their own, well-educated opinions.
Before I start, I want to say that I’m not writing this to drag WADY through the mud. Again, I genuinely think people should be aware of him. He’s shown that he disregards people’s boundaries regarding NSFW content, particularly during one instance where he planned to make and post NSFW content that included other people’s character designs without telling those people that it was going to be NSFW. Additionally, he’s had a pattern of posting NSFW and fetish-related content without any sort of warnings, even though there are minors in the fandom. Lastly, he’s shown that he isn’t receptive to people who address his behavior and instead twists the truth in a way that makes it seem like he’s being wrongfully attacked. Because of this, I think people should rightfully be aware of his actions so that they can protect themselves.
I cropped and marked up some screenshots slightly just so that this is easier to follow, as well as redacted some names of people to protect them from harassment. (The colors I use to censor names are arbitrary, i.e. all names censored in blue aren’t necessarily the same person, etc.). I haven’t cropped out or marked over anything that’s relevant to what I’m saying.
This post contains subject matter some people may find disturbing, specifically:
NSFW text
Links to NSFW media
Discussion of fetishes
Possibly fetishistic art and writing
Minors being treated inappropriately
Jokes involving CSA, incest, and transphobia
If any of these topics make you uncomfortable, use your discretion, and if you’re a minor, don’t read this at all.
Lastly, DO NOT HARASS ANYONE. Harassment serves no purpose, doesn’t help anyone who's been harmed, and doesn’t effectively cause people to change their behavior.
1. The Rabbit Hole Situation
Basically, WADY had planned to create an NSFW animation meme using other people’s character designs, without telling them it was going to be NSFW, and therefore not getting their informed consent.
Here’s the post in which they announced the animation:
As seen above, WADY didn’t clearly state whether the animation was going to be NSFW or not. The only hint to this was the mention of the song, Rabbit Hole.
However, as shown in the DMs below, WADY was unsure if everyone was familiar with the song Rabbit Hole and its associated animation meme. Therefore, WADY was unsure if everyone involved was aware of what his animation would contain, which proves that he did not disclose to them that the animation was going to be NSFW.
(It’s worth mentioning that the person DM’ing WADY here isn’t one of the people whose Heartfelt design was going to be used.)
For those who don’t know, there’s a trend of people making NSFW animation memes using the song Rabbit Hole as audio. Here’s an example of one of these memes, and if you look up others, you’ll see that almost all of them follow this general format. (Again, I’ll warn you that it’s NSFW. Please use your discretion before clicking the link. Also, blood warning.):
(I'm not sure if this specific version of this song was going to be used, but I'm using this video as an example just because most popular videos with the original song include Miku, and I don't want to include NSFW content of a minor.)
If you don’t want to or aren’t able to watch the whole video, I’ll describe what happens as well. This video depicts a montage of a character:
Wearing a bunny suit and a BDSM harness
Suggestively laid out on a bedsheet, with a few sex props (bondage ribbon, handcuffs) around them
Hanging from the ceiling in bondage
Falling over, then landing with their ass in the air in a suggestive pose
Shaking their ass while handcuffed to a stripper pole
Seemingly humping something/getting dry-humped
Hopefully, it’s easy to understand why some people may not want to see a character they designed shaking their ass for the camera, put in bondage, getting dry-humped, or anything else along those lines, and that other people should really get informed permission before including their characters in an animation like this. Why WADY didn’t, I don’t know. Fortunately, this animation was never finished or posted (which will be explained later), but I can only imagine the reactions of the people whose designs were going to be used.
Here is the rest of the DM conversation that provides more proof that the animation was definitely going to be NSFW. In addition, WADY mentioning that they planned to add a disclaimer proves that he WAS going to post this publicly, where other people could see it, and not just keep it to himself.
(Note: Even though WADY said he wouldn’t have included someone’s Heartfelt design in the meme if that person told him they were uncomfortable with it, as he himself said, he wasn’t sure if everyone knew the animation meme was going to be NSFW, and therefore people wouldn’t KNOW that they needed to tell WADY not to include their designs if NSFW made them uncomfortable.)
Fortunately, WADY did eventually decide to cancel this animation. According to him, this was because he was “talked out of it” by someone else.
I’m extremely relieved that WADY didn’t actually go through with this, but what disturbs me the most about this situation is that, if WADY was genuinely planning to do this, without everyone’s permission, and if he only stopped because somebody talked him out of it, then what other boundary-crossing things could he do, if nobody tells him off?
2. Posting NSFW Without Warnings
WADY has also shown a pattern of posting NSFW and suggestive content with no sort of warnings. This is important because there are people in the fandom (and also in general) who may be uncomfortable with that kind of content, and, not to mention, there are minors in the fandom.
Firstly, here are screenshots of the intros channel of the Candle Cove Discord server. Most of the Discord screenshots in this post are from this server (unless stated otherwise). As you can see, there are members of the server who are minors. It’s not like the existence of minors in the fandom was a little-known fact, since everyone on the server has to visit this channel to make an intro in order to become verified.
Secondly, here’s what WADY’s Tumblr bio looked like around the time these posts were made. As you can see, there’s no “minors DNI” or “18+” or anything like that that could serve as a warning to people who are uncomfortable with untagged NSFW.
(I apologize for the now-incorrect pronouns and gendered terms. I can’t mark over them without possibly looking like I’m hiding relevant text.)
Despite this lack of warning, they posted untagged NSFW text posts pretty frequently. (Note the tags in all these posts and how there aren’t any warnings.)
(I know that not ALL of these are X-rated, exactly, but they’re inappropriate nonetheless. Keep in mind that WADY is a 22-year-old adult posting these things in a space where there are minors as young as 13.)
This disregard for proper tagging also extends to the way they talk about their fat fetish. Multiple times, they brought up their fat fetish either on Tumblr without tag warnings, or on Discord in the middle of otherwise normal conversation—disregarding the fact that there are minors in the fandom, as well as people who may not be comfortable with hearing about people’s fetishes. (I should highlight that I’m calling them out for the fact they post about their fetish AROUND MINORS—not just them having a fetish in itself.)
They have been pretty open and obvious about the fact of them having a fat fetish, but for accountability, here’s a screenshot of them saying they find fat men appealing:
There are several instances of WADY talking about characters’ weight or stomach areas an unusual amount and in an unusual amount of detail (which also in itself can act as proof of their fetish), again, in untagged posts and in the middle of normal conversation. The second underlined text in the above screenshot is one example. Here are some others. (Note how in the Tumblr posts, there are again no warning tags or anything.)
I should highlight again that I’m NOT saying all of this to shame WADY for having a fetish, but rather to call them out for talking about their fetish out in the open, without warning, even though there are minors around. Again, the Candle Cove fandom has minors in it, plus there are people out there in general who may be personally uncomfortable with fetish content. This is why it’s important to tag, or at least give people some way to avoid it.
Them not tagging NSFW and fetish content is especially noticeable because they include tag warnings for other possibly upsetting content, as seen below. It’s not like they don’t tag NSFW because they don’t tag properly in general, but, for some reason, NSFW is one of the only things they don’t tag consistently.
This behavior has been addressed in the past, but this didn’t go over well. It didn’t lead WADY to take accountability for their behavior, but to instead make excuses and to villainize the person who addressed them.
This is another completely untagged NSFW post of theirs, which motivated someone to say something. (Content warnings for CSA, incest, and transphobic humor. Click to view.)
(I unfortunately don’t have screenshots with the original post’s tags to prove that this had no warnings tagged, but the screenshot below corroborates this.)
This post was addressed by a user on the Candle Cove server. (I’ve spoken with Nina (Skin-taker’s cat) and they’re fine with their name not being redacted, since WADY had vilified them, and including their name here will show what they actually did, and repair their reputation.)
As you can see, according to Nina, the post in question didn’t have warnings.
WADY said this in response:
Note how he tries to defend himself by shifting the responsibility (at least partly) to other people, and away from him, the person who made the post.
Around the same time this was happening, Nina was also pointing out some hypocritical behavior from WADY, which isn’t AS important to discuss here compared to the more serious things in this post, but for context, WADY had basically turned a blind eye to inappropriate things other people have posted, while at the same time confronting Nina for much less serious things (i.e., fat jokes that they can claim).
(I feel like I should clarify: The “asscrack pic” was NOT an actual picture of an ass. The Candle Cove server hasn’t been THAT crazy, despite its past poor moderation. It was just a sculpture of an ass, but it was nonetheless too suggestive for a 13+ server.)
The fact that, according to him, he needs to “keep having to remind himself” that minors are around, is worth pointing out. The existence of minors should be obvious because, again, people have to state their age in order to be verified on the server, and also everyone should know this in general because the minimum age on Tumblr and Discord is 13. Why would he keep forgetting?
A little while after this, WADY left the Candle Cove server, ended their friendship with Nina, and, on a different server they were in, complained about what Nina had said to them. Here’s what they said:
(The redacted parts aren’t relevant. Nina was just talking about unrelated drama before they started talking about WADY.)
Firstly, simply having their behavior addressed and being prompted to take accountability for their actions was enough to motivate WADY to cut someone off and leave a server.
Secondly, note that, in the Candle Cove server, Nina told WADY that they specifically had a problem with him posting extremely dark NSFW jokes without warnings. Here, WADY says something different, that Nina had a problem with him “posting NSFW,” without elaboration.
This is misleading. WADY is sidestepping the fact that he even did anything wrong himself. Not only that, intentionally or not, he’s villainizing Nina in the process. Nina didn’t say anything about them having a problem with people posting NSFW in itself, as if they're a kinkshamer or anything like that. However, without any context, that’s probably what people on this server assumed.
(He also doesn’t tell the whole truth about the situation with Nina’s fat jokes, making it seem as though Nina was just complaining about being told off, when in reality, they were pointing out that WADY was unbothered by unwarned NSFW despite being vigilant enough to confront them about fat jokes.)
Here, WADY continues to downplay what he did:
He continues to make it seem as though Nina had a problem with him posting NSFW in general. Also, this just seems like such a flippant thing to say knowing he did post something very disturbing and possibly even triggering without warnings. Whether or not it was just “middle schooler 4chan humor” doesn’t change the fact that it included CSA, incest, and transphobia and should’ve been tagged.
In addition to complaining on this server, he posted a public vent post about this situation on his Tumblr.
Now, it’s understandable, I guess, that WADY would be upset at having some of their problematic behavior addressed. Even though it was rightfully addressed, it could still be a lot to take in. However, without context, this makes it seem as though WADY was being mistreated and victimized, and that everyone else was in the wrong.
Of course, I’m not going to act like it’s necessary or reasonable for people to make sure they’re including every relevant fact and detail and piece of context when they’re just trying to get their feelings out. However, if people vent in public, and others can read the post and be misled by the lack of context, then yes, they should be more careful. If someone reads this, they may assume that WADY was literally “chased out” (as they said) of the server, instead of the reality that they left by their own choice. Or that WADY was being made to “tiptoe around people” (i.e., be unreasonably careful) when the truth was that they were simply told to stop being hypocritical and tag their NSFW posts properly (which isn’t unreasonable).
Also, below are DMs discussing the post. (None of the people here are Nina, just people who were tired of seeing the drama continue.)
(Note: While it may have been vague, vagueness doesn't really have a strong effect in a tiny fandom like this. No matter how vague someone is, it could still be easy for others to suss out who someone’s talking about through the process of elimination since there are only a handful of people in the fandom.)
To summarize, WADY has basically shown that he doesn't take accountability for his untagged NSFW-posting, and that he overreacts when people voice concerns with his behavior, cutting them off and explaining things in a way that makes it seem like they were in the wrong. This makes getting him to address and change his inappropriate behavior pretty difficult, which is partly why this post was written, since handling this privately didn't seem like it was going anywhere and only risked causing WADY to damage people’s reputations further.
Conclusion
Having said all that, I don’t think WADY is, like, an irredeemably bad person or anything, and I do think he has the ability to change himself. However, in the meantime, I don’t think anyone should overlook his behavior. What he did shouldn’t be downplayed—not the NSFW animation that was going to be made without people’s consent, not the randomly bringing up NSFW and fetish stuff around minors, and not the refusal to take accountability for his actions. People should be aware of this, and not make themselves be around WADY if his actions make them uncomfortable, or risk putting them in harm's way.
Also, I’ll say it again, DON’T SEEK OUT WADY OR ANYONE ELSE TO HARASS THEM. If you come across him, just block him, if you feel like that would be best for your wellbeing.
CW for basically everything OP mentioned, plus a brief discussion of grooming (I mean, hypothetical grooming to be specific, but still). Also, this ended up pretty long. I just wanna say everything I need to say right here so that I don’t have to go back and keep talking about this.
RABBIT HOLE
I was one of the people whose Heartfelt designs were going to be used in the animation. In the screenshot, mine are the ones labelled “canon” and “human!canon.” (The new wiki art of Heartfelt ended up looking similar to my design, so I'm guessing that's why WADY called it "canon.")
So yeah, just like OP said, nothing was communicated. WADY didn’t speak about it to me at all, either in DMs or through Tumblr or in the server. I saw the announcement, reblogged saying something positive, and that was all that was said. Now, if I KNEW what the animation was going to be about, then I wouldn’t have reacted so positively, but they didn’t tell me. I literally didn’t find out this animation was going to be lewd until after it was cancelled.
It was just a really odd realization for me to come to. And like, it’s upsetting looking back at how WADY and I used to talk in the server and be friendly with each other while now knowing, during that time, they were planning/working on this animation. Like, they were treating me like a friend while planning on doing something they knew could have hurt me.
Like, it’s obvious that they KNEW not everyone would be familiar with Rabbit Hole because of that one person mentioned in the DMs who had to ask what Rabbit Hole was. And according to them, they talked to this person weeks before they made the announcement post. But they still acted like just saying “Rabbit Hole” without elaborating was enough of a heads-up. And they clearly knew that not everyone was gonna be fine with that kind of content based on how they got so scared and panicky when they had to explain what Rabbit Hole was to that person. Like, they KNEW they weren’t properly informing people.
And it's so weird and kind of irritating to see them say that they would’ve felt “SO horrible” if people didn’t actually know it was going to be NSFW. If they would’ve felt horrible, then why didn't they just ask people if they were fine with it? And like, okay, I understand it may be embarrassing or awkward to ask someone for permission to lewd their character designs, but like… if they WEREN’T too embarrassed to animate people’s designs doing who-knows-what and then post it for everyone to see, how would simply asking be too embarrassing? And, hell, even if they couldn’t have mustered the courage to ask permission…. If you’re not able to get permission for something, then don’t do it? Especially if that thing is 1, not important, and 2, could seriously hurt people???
Like it’s just unbelievable that they apparently thought this was perfectly fine until someone “talked them out of it,” as if they needed to be CONVINCED that surprising people—people whose boundaries and comfort levels with lewd content they DIDN’T KNOW—with a video of their characters twerking and pole dancing and getting humped and whatever the hell else was not okay, actually.
Just… how can someone arrive to the conclusion of “I know doing this can make people uncomfortable, disturbed, or possibly even traumatized, but I’m going to do it anyway just because I’m horny.” Like. Fuck, that’s actually so worrying. Like I’m genuinely worried about what other things they’d be willing to do if they have that mentality.
UNTAGGED NSFW
I don’t have hard evidence for this, so I don’t know if it’s worth anything, but I remember WADY CONTINUED to post untagged lewd posts even after Nina told them they needed to be more careful around minors. You see that post in the screenshots where they talked about how that one yandere fanfic made them horny? I remember that they posted that like, 1 or 2 or maybe 3 days after they and Nina talked about it.
And like, geez, I know they said they keep forgetting that minors exist, but THAT quickly? They had a serious conversation about the safety of minors in the fandom, but totally forgot about it in a matter of DAYS?? In that case, how often do they need to be reminded? Every couple of hours???
And okay, fine, maybe some people think it’s too alarmist to make a big deal about people posting kind of sexual but not literally graphic and hardcore content in spaces where there are minors, but listen. Even if someone doesn’t have bad intentions, talking about sexual topics with or around minors, even non-explicitly, still has the effect of desensitizing them to it. And then, God forbid, if someone who actually has bad intentions rolls around, and starts talking to minors about sexual topics, then the minors could say to themselves, “Well, people in the fandom talk about this stuff around me, and they’re safe people, so this person probably isn’t dangerous either.” And then the conversations can gradually get more explicit, and their boundaries can be pushed further, and you know the rest.
Like, just don’t do it. There’s absolutely no good reason an adult should be saying these things around minors. I don’t know what else to tell you. It takes 2 seconds to add tag warnings.
FAT FETISH STUFF
I guess I should address this before anyone comes after the OP or anyone else. There ARE people out there who will wrongfully go after artists who simply draw/talk about fat people because they’re weirdly convinced that anything related to fatness must be a fetish, and will scrutinize them excessively in order to convince themselves of this. HOWEVER, this ISN'T a case of us having to deliberately scrutinize WADY to convince ourselves that they have a fat fetish. Like, in my case, I actually had to start convincing myself that they DIDN’T have a fetish after a certain point because it was just that obvious. Like, look at the screenshots OP included. Practically every other time WADY talked or posted about Heartfelt, for 2-3 months, they were saying or including stuff just like that. It was unavoidable and impossible to ignore. The different things they said and did may not have seemed weird in isolation and possibly could have been easily explained, but if you put them all together, then yeah, I would say it’s pretty hard to deny that it's a fetish. Especially since they said point blank that they thought fat men were "appealing" and that Heartfelt's body type was based on "features they were attracted to."
And okay, fine, maybe it would have been too embarrassing for them to be upfront about having a fetish (although they were fine to tell people that they thought fat men were appealing, so I don't know), which might have been the reason they didn't tag or give warnings, but again, if it would have been too embarrassing for them to do the responsible thing and tag, then maybe they just should have kept their fetish to themself?? I'm not saying they had to do anything unreasonable, like never draw fat people, but like, they could have very easily kept the drooling and the blatant fetish art (like that one comic where Heartfelt was too fat to fit into his clothes) to themself. Or at least away from minors.
Also, thinking about this made me realize…. You see that one screenshot where WADY reblogged some art of Heartfelt, and how they said that they “successfully infected someone else with chubby Heartfelt brain worms”? As if that was some goal they had? Maybe it was just a joke, but if they were legitimately trying to get other people to draw their Heartfelts as fat… that sounds like it could be fetish mining. Actually, the way they kept pointing out Heartfelt’s weight could also be considered fetish mining, if their goal was to get other people to continue the conversation about his fatness and talk about it with them. And like, geez, if that’s true…. What's stopping them from just finding some fat fetish community somewhere where people are actually happy to create and engage with that kind of content? Why would they specifically need to involve possibly nonconsenting people? And sometimes minors????
CLOSING THOUGHTS
Maybe I’m just paranoid, but I’m lowkey afraid this is going to end up as another Chaoticlotus situation, where people KNOW someone’s a creep, but just shrug it off and continue to interact with that person. Especially knowing that there have been two separate incidents in this fandom of creeps being discovered (Riley Morningstar being the second one), but people being so unnecessarily slow to do anything about it. And like… for fuck’s sake, some of my friends who are minors were hurt by this person. And based on WADY’s behavior, I’m pretty sure they’re gonna continue to act like they’re not doing anything wrong, and continue to hurt people.
Please, even if you all aren’t interacting with this post, just be aware of them. And don’t let your friends interact with them without you saying anything. People shouldn't have to find out about them the hard way.
I hope op doesn’t mind but this is a good example of what I mean.

LIKE WHO ARE THESE
Not to mention: ALLEGEDLY there has been some criticism/dismissal of fans giving feedback or constructive criticism. Understand this is not me trying to make drama or anything, it’s just me venting my frustration. But I will say is it’s not a good look to be hostile towards fans in any way. I don’t know, I just don’t think that this is that fair. I miss these characters sometimes man and I loved the wiki. I love these characters and just want a bit better for them.

Step two: Scroll down until you see this
Step three: Click the button (I already did)
Bonus step: Contact support and POLITELY tell them just how bad of an idea this is/how much you disapprove. If you’ve seen the Open AI Sora thing as of recent, you know just how bad AI is getting. This isn’t just about art, it is also about photos and videos. So make your displeasure know
Bonus step two: If you can, poison your artwork with something like Nightshade or Glaze, it’ll fuck over the AI.
@staff if you’re seeing this: This is a horrible idea. Reconsider. If you care at all about your users, you will fix this and essentially go back on this deal. Unfortunately, this could lead to legal issues, I’m sure that you would hate for that to happen. And if you somehow aren’t perturbed by that, maybe look into the overwhelming negatives of this kind of AI.

Step one: go to your profile settings ON ALL YOUR ACCOUNTS
Step two: Scroll down until you see this
Step three: Click the button (I already did)

Green Gregory’s crew was called the Red-Handed Jacks and was the most successful crew in all of Candle Cove in their time. (Greg doesn’t play this up though.)
Also, he was nicknamed “Green” Gregory because he gets seasick easily.
I'm retconning what I said about sirens being solitary. They actually live in one giant village that's made up of sunken ships. Whenever ships sail over that area, they get sunken and made into living spaces.
Also, I’m retconning their abilities a little bit. Sirens are able to influence people’s emotions, desires, and neurological states (e.g., their urge to sleep), but they CANNOT control people’s wills. In other words, they can make people WANT to jump overboard but whether or not a person CHOOSES to jump overboard is up to the person. Like, they don't have total control over people. (I thought it would be more interesting if sirens didn't have such a crazy amount of leverage in, say, fight scenarios, and had to think cleverly and strategize rather than rely totally on their magic.)
Percy developed his belief about bravery = good and cowardice = bad (and his subsequent self-loathing from being cowardly) by trying to imitate Schot, who was always very stoic. But the only reason Schot was so stoic was because he was trying to repress his trauma and put on a brave face for his son. To make him feel safe. He never meant for Percy to think that he would be unworthy if he stopped being brave.
I know that the wiki says that the people who live in the Sand Lands are human, but I'm gonna ignore that because, I mean, the ocean BOILS in the Sand Lands. I don't think humans can survive in that climate. So yeah, I headcanon the people who come from the Sand Lands (Sunny included) to be a different race called Sandlandians, who are able to survive in hot climates and look sort of reptilian.
In the early days of the Laughingstock Crew, Dr. Heartfelt would stay aboard the ship and babysit Milo whenever the rest of the crew would go out to fight/look for treasure/whatever. Milo doesn't remember this at all, though, or at least he acts like he doesn’t. When he rejoined the crew, he had no idea who Heartfelt was. (Heartfelt took this hard. He was like a nephew to him!! How can he not remember?)
