After a long day, the silence of the library was exactly what Ayame needed. School never failed to exhaust the geneticist, especially the expected social aspect of it. She had been caught by an upperclassman, some street racer or something, having to deal with about 20 minutes of incessant rambling before Ayame had politely excused herself.

The relief that flooded through her when she found that the library was sparsely populated was indescribable, and she set down her stuff on a table. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Taichi - the first time that they had met, he had seemed nice enough. Clearing her throat to get his attention, she gave a small wave.

“Good afternoon.”

The library was the best place for him to catch up on his interests, all the words he could see and the books he could dissect. A library as grand as this needed people passionate about reading, it was only fitting for Taichi to visit. Especially since his shift hadn’t yet started in the infirmary, what better way to kick back and relax than with a good book he had been putting off for a while.

The surgeon leaned back on his chair and encompassed himself in his romantic novel. It was dashing, daring! Taichi could only focus on the escapade for love as told in the novel, until he heard a familiar voice.

“Hello, Higuchi-hakase.” He slowly looked up from his book and smiled under his mask. “How are you today?”

A man needing a heart transplant is told by his doctor that the only heart available is that of a sheep . The man finally agrees and the doctor transplants the sheep heart into the man . A few days after the operation, the man comes in for a checkup. The doctor asks him "How are you feeling?" The man replies "Not BAAAAD!

I’m pretty sure that’s unethical...

I’m opposed to the idea of human-animal transplants, sorry.
