I borrowed some love
That never was mine
If it all fell to pieces tomorrow
Would you still be mine
There’s a child I can see
In the back of your eyes
Dying to be set free
Let the hunger inside you
Bring it alive
🤩🤩🤩👌👍🏻 excelente interpretación...
If the spirit moves ya
Let me groove ya
It’s more than a feeling
When I hear that old song play
Love is like a cloud
It holds a lot of rain
Will we cry in passion
Or will we cry in pain
Will our lonely teardrops
Fill the world with rain
Was it Love, or just the idea of being in love?
The one song I associate with my second girlfriend is “Shooting Star” by Bad Company. It’s not a romantic song, but she liked Bad Company and it was the first song I remember knowing all the words to.
I guess I’d consider our break-up song to have been “Behind Blue Eyes” by The Who. She had blue eyes and the lyrics kind of spoke to me about how she must have been a sad person behind her outward demeanor (she had so much energy in her movements; it was what attracted me I think) to have acted as uncaring as she did.
Of course, if you have relationship songs you also have break-up songs. When my my first girlfriend broke up with me after a couple of months, it was because I’d never kissed her (we were eleven years old and, hey, I was just enjoying hanging out with her).
To me, our break-up song was “Let Your Love Flow” by the Bellamy Brothers. I guess my thinking was that she could always have let her feelings flow and kiss me.
You know how we associate songs with relationships? For my first relationship, it was “Sunshine” by John Denver. That’s because whenever my girlfriend was with me it felt like the sun was shining on me. I was eleven years old.
If you want scars, I’ll show you scars
Just thinkin’ about you baby
Just blows my mind
All the time
As we go down
Life’s lonesome highway
Seems the hardest thing to do
Is to find a friend or two
That helping hand
Someone who understands
When feel you’ve lost your way
You got someone there to say
I’ll show you
