Sigh... I said I would do it...
What has Asfó been up to?
A few months ago, Asfó's adopted mother disappeared, pulled through a portal by a copy of herself while Asfó was in the room to witness it. The child has been blaming themself for her disappearance since, and ran off shortly afterwards. So, what has the winged child been up to?
A young child, looking to be between the ages of 5 and 7, was sitting in a meadow surrounded by trees on one side and a lake on the other. There were countless flowers in the tall grass, a wide variety of brightly colored petals attracting bees and butterflies of all sorts.
The child looks out of place, their colorless form standing out under the flower crowns they have weaved, there were some hanging on their arms, a few more layered on top of their head, and a few made to be able to comfortably rest on the child's dark blue - almost black - wings. Their wings are the only part of them that isn't a shade of gray, the dark blue feathers having bright stars scattered across them to form shifting constellations and galaxies.
There are animals in the forest and resting in the meadow that are also adorned with flower crowns. The child, having spent most of their time here weaving the simple accessories, made some for the creatures that had grown used to seeing them and comfortable enough to get close or just ignore the lost child.
So, when the child stood up for the first time since they arrived, the creatures watched them curiously, interested in knowing what had changed. Asfó shook their wings out and stretched the feathery limbs out. Despite the limited use they've gotten, they've been growing well, now quite a bit longer than their arms and strong enough to theoretically hold them in the air for an extended period of time...
But they're dirty. Grass and flowers and dirt coat the primaries and most of the feathers need to be sorted through and organized. So Asfó walks towards the water, sitting down on a little rock to be able to clean their wings properly, something that they learned how to do from watching the birds that visit.
Idk how to end this so there you go
