Part-time xenomorph Bolaji Badejo on the set of Alien, 1979. Badejo was 7′ 2″. He died of sickle cell anemia in 1992. He was only 39.

My entry for the Blizzcon Art Contest 2018.

The original layout had Mercy in it. :(

I mismanaged my time leading up to the deadline, and when I realized there were only two days left before the deadline, I only had a sketch and some blocked in shapes. I had to drop Mercy and deal with a lot of “good enough” moments just to make sure I had a finished piece comfortably before the last few hours before the deadline was up.

Removing Mercy threw off a lot of the lines-of-action I was following originally so there’s a number of things that bother me now after the fact, However, I’m actually really pleased with how all the texture turned out, particularly the fur.

This is the bunker from WWII in Osøyro (Os - Hordaland) where Varg Vikernes and Euronymous took some photos in the early 1992, at the time of the recording of the debut album.
