"This town is a perpetual cloud of doom and gloom. Hard not to focus on it. It is a good thing. I’m glad that he’s going. He needs to get out of here and have a life." She agreed. "So, what’s the master plan?"

"I was thinking...dinner at my place? Just the four of us. I can order something...or cook one of the four things I can actually cook. Whatever you guys want."

"Why is this so important to you? It’s not like it’s the last time that we’ll ever see him. Fine. Fine. I’ll come. Just—stop bringing up all the times you people all died."

"Because we focus on the doom and gloom too much. We need some...happy. Plus Jo is dealing with her family and I can't do anything to fix that situation so...I'm going to celebrate with my family. Jeremy going away is a good thing. We should celebrate the good things." he nodded.

"Jeremy and I have already had our own celebration. So, I think I’ll pass on the ‘family’ get together. I’m not required to come to anything. Less there’s bacon involved."

"Please? I would like one nice family get together that doesn't involve someone getting hit by a car. I'll make...something with bacon in it. Or...order something with bacon in it."

"I thought we'd have a traditional....non-traditional family dinner. Ya know, in celebration of Jeremy getting the hell out of here and starting his own life. And yes, you are required to come. No excuses."
