Not everyone can say they’ve been to the Big Apple, but [ CLEMENTINE MOORE ], a [ 28 ] year-old [ CIS FEMALE ] has lived in [ CONEY ISLAND, BROOKLYN ] for [ THEIR WHOLE LIFE ]. This is the city of dreams and [ SHE/HER ] knows it, because they came to NYC to be an [ UNEMPLOYED ]. Some people know them as [ THE BEACH GOER ] around [ THE THEME PARK ]. Living in the city means they meet all kinds of people, but everyone always seems to think they look like [ FLORENCE PUGH ]. They even got away with free cab fare once because of it!
of all the blessing in life, the one clementine treasured the most, the biggest one bestowed upon her would be her free spirit. she didn’t get many blessing, but she considered her adventurous spirit to be one of them.
she’s always disliked anyone who has tried to dim her light and curiosity of the world around her, and so, it’s why she vowed to cut ties with anyone who did the older she got. her parents, unfortunately, were people she couldn’t stand to have around. they didn’t act much like the parents she would see in movies; nurturing, loving, and warm. they acted as if she was a trophy for the world and her purpose was so to fill the shoes they had on this earth.
at one point of her life, from the outside looking in, it looked like she had everything on a silver platter for her. she looked to have it all. in fact, no matter how lucky they called her, clementine felt like she had nothing in the world. until one night, one late, stormy night, she finally cracked the code of life. the code of true happiness...and it was simply just to live life. not to give a flying eff of what those around her would think, to stick to that promise she made herself when she was just a kid, and live life for the moment.
cutting all those toxic connections out of her life meant that she’d have to make some sacrifices. some of those sacrifices meant to give up all the material things that her parents had ever offered or bought her. life on the road quickly became difficult, but clementine didn’t let it sway her decision.
she makes a small earning by filming what life on the road is like for her. what little money she made from her first couple of videos she saved it up to buy herself a volkswagon van, one she has transformed into her own little home, and she couldn’t be prouder of the vehicle.
while she may always keep a bright smile and personality about her to everyone around her, which has earned her both followers and friends, when she’s alone at night she does cry more than smile. in her heart of hearts, clementine knows she’s still battling her demons behind closed doors. even if it’s not something she talks about to most, if anyone, she has come a long way from in her road to recovery. although there are times she is close to the edge, she somehow finds a way to pull herself up from the darkness. it’s a constant battle, but one she is desperately trying to win.
even if she lives out of a van she does consider her little home an open home to anyone in need. of course this has gotten her into some trouble with some people she’s met, as not everyone is kind hearted she has learned, but she’s learned how to survive and make better choices. regardless, her kindness and need to help those around her continues to grow and blossom like a flower in spring time.
where can you find her most days? why, by the beach side of course!
