reblogging everyday
Sometimes as an artist you just see something and you know you gotta use your powers for good.
Kalief Browder was arrested at the age of 16, on charges of robbery (for allegedly stealing a backpack) and imprisoned without conviction for three years.
Unable to post $3,000 bail, Kalief was sent to Rikers Island to await his trial.
After more than 1,000 days at Rikers awainting trial, over 800 of them in solitary confinement, Kalief was released and his case was later dismissed.
In June 2015, Kalief Browder committed suicide by hanging himself. The conditions of his detention were widely seen as having caused his mental condition and five or six prior attempts at suicide while incarcerated.
Kalief was 22 years old when he died.
Venida Browder, 63, the mother of Kalief Browder, died Friday at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx.
She died of a broken heart.
RIP to you both…
Rest In Peace to them both. Sending prayers for their family and friends.
The real Catwoman.
She been out here swerving the police for years
Facts. She was running the jewels til her 80s.
Make a movie about her.
There is a movie about her on Netflix “the Life and Crimes of Doris Payne.” It’s actually good.

Yes, it was a good documentary ^^^ even now she was still swiping like when she was younger

Why do you spend so much energy on race issues?
There’s no other issue to put energy towards. Race is the determining factor in any other issue I could think about.
One less person putting energy towards race is three extra race issues.
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Then U wonder why I have race issues
This broke my heart.
I’ve struggled with depression for years and there have been many days when I didn’t want to wake up. Black people, we need to look out for each other, check on the people around you and stop telling people to turn a church/mosque or going out…listen to them, don’t silence them. Check on a black man today. Check on a black woman today. Check on a black person in your life and see if they are okay.
Black mental health matters
Intimacy do not always mean sex...
Wash her hair for her
Help her shave
Cook a meal together
Write her a letter… about her(no actually write it)
Shower together (or bath)
Body rubs and massages work well (especially her feet and booty)😉
When she’s removing polish from her fingers…grab a cotton ball and remove the polish from her toes
After she showers…meet her with a dry towel and dry her off
When she’s dry rub her down with coconut oil(or whatever she prefers…
TALK: about her day…her goal…her opinions…
Listen to her…
Form secret code words that only you and her will understand if said publicly
Build memories together….
JUST A FEW SUGGESTIONS….Reblog if you have some suggestions to add.
- Protect her - help her oil/grease her scalp - paint her a picture on computer paper with the $2 watercolor paints from walmart - remind her to take her medication - comfort her if she has an anxiety or panic attack - be honest - Do NOT lie to her - bring her snacks when she’s on her period - help her do her laundry - support her dreams & aspirations

20-year-old young Black woman Megan Williams was held at a remote house in Big Creek and was tortured, sexually assaulted, and beaten for days before being discovered by the police. Once an assailant cut the victim’s ankle with a knife, calling her the n-word and confessing that she was kidnapped because of her skin color.
“They just kept saying ‘This is what we do to niggers down here,‘” Williams told The Associated Press.
However, six white people were charged with everything but the hate crime.
This brave woman hopes to attend college one day to become a nurse.
This case deserves national attention and an outrage.
