SAHIH AL-BUKHARI, Book 10, Hadith 61
Chapter (40): It is permissible to pray at one's dwelling during rain or if there is a genuine excuse (40)
Narrated Mahmud bin Rabi` Al-Ansari (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu):
`Itban bin Malik (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) used to lead his people (tribe) in prayer and was a blind man, he said to Allah's Apostle (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam), "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! At times it is dark and flood water is flowing (in the valley) and I am blind man, so please pray at a place in my house so that I can take it as a Musalla (praying place)."
So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to his house and said, "Where do you like me to pray?" 'Itban (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) pointed to a place in his house and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), offered the prayer there.
JUST A REMINDER TO ALL THOSE WHO THINK THEY ARE GODS, ESPECIALLY THE ELITE RULING THE SO-CALLED ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN, WHICH IS NEITHER ISLAMIC NOR REPUBLIC, BUT AN AUTOCRATIC DICTATORSHIP BEING RULED BY A CHOSEN FEW LANDLORDS, A LEGACY OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE.
UNFORTUNATELY!
Most of the elite of so-called Islamic Republic of Pakistan and their followers are ignorant people, deaf, dumb and blind leading the deaf dumb and blindblind as Allah (Subhanhu wa Ta’ala) says in the Holy Qur’an:
These are three qualities that God Almighty described the hypocrites with – deaf, as they do not listen to or hear the truth; dumb, as they do not speak the truth; and blind, as they do not see what the truth is nor do they see by the truth.
Deaf, dumb and blind - so they will not return [to the right path]. Or [it is] like a rainstorm from the sky within which is darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps in dread of death, Surah Al-Baqarah. Verses 18.
(They are deaf, dumb, and blind.) means, they are deaf, as they do not hear the truth; mute, as they do not utter it; and blind, as they do not see or recognize its path and way.
(So they do not understand.) means, they do not comprehend or understand anything. Surah Al-Baqarah. Verse 170.
They do not read the Holy Qur’an, do not understand it and do not act upon it, so I though let me remind them by the words of wisdom from the father Prophet David (‘Alaih-is-Salam) to his son Prophet Sulaiman (‘Alaih-is-Salam), which may shake you up and wake you up from your deep slumber. It is now or never, but in my humble opinion, it is never too late.
As the Lord of Abraham, Moses Jesus and Muhammad (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) is One God Almighty, therefore, the message given in the Psalms of Prophet David (‘Alaih-is-Salam) applies also to the Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) equally.
Psalm 82:1 is a verse from the Bible that describes God's presence and authority in the assembly of the mighty or the gods. The verse can be translated in different ways, but the main idea is that God stands or presides as a judge over the rulers or judges of the earth, who are called gods because of their power or divine appointment. God observes and evaluates their actions and decisions.
GOD ALMIGHTY PRESIDES IN THE GREAT ASSEMBLY
1{A Psalm of Asaph.} God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
IN CONCLUSION:
I hope and pray that God Almighty will listen to the prayer of Prophet David (‘Alaih-is-Salam) and take care of the corrupt politicians, who are Qaum Farosh and Zameer Farosh RASCALS and deliver the helpless, the needy and the poor people of so-called Islamic Republic of Pakistan and rid them out of the hands of the illegal wicked PDM rulers, Ameen.
DEAR MUSLIM BROTHERS & SISTERS, AS-SALAM-O-‘ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUHU,
PLEASE READ SURAH AL-HUJRAT , 49, AND LISTEN TO IT VERY CAREFULLY. FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES WHAT KIND OF MAJOR SINS (KABAA'IR) ARE BEING COMMITTED ON A DAILY BASIS, BECAUSE OF OUR ARROGANCE, IGNORANCE AND STUPIDITY. MAY GOD ALMIGHTY GUIDE US, HELP US AND SHOW ALL OF US THE LIGHT, TO THE RIGHT PATH. AMIN.
AS A MUSLIM, IT IS MY DUTY AND OBLIGATION TO KEEP REMINDING YOU, BECAUSE ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA SAYS, IN THE HOLY QUR’AN, "REMIND! BECAUSE REMINDER HELPS THE BELIEVERS." AND ALLAH (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) AND HIS LAST PROPHET MUHAMMAD SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam HAVE TOLD THE TRUTH.
WE MUST LISTEN TO HIM AND OBEY HIM, IF WE ARE BELIEVERS. BUT, IF WE ARE DEAF, DUMB AND BLIND, NOBODY CAN HELP US. PERIOD!

THE SO-CALLED ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN,
WHICH BY DEFINITION IS NEITHER ISLAMIC NOR REPUBLIC,
HAS DECLARED A WAR ON GOD ALMIGHTY, ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA)
AND HIS LAST MESSENGER, MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU “ALAIHI WA SALLAM)
BY CONTINUING TO GIVE OR TAKE RIBA’.
SO ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA) HAS DECLARED A WAR ON ALL THOSE MUSLIMS WHO GIVE OR TAKE RIBA’ (USUARY)!
BECAUSE OF THEIR DISOBEDIENCE OF LAWS OF ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA) i.e. SHAR’AH, THE HELPLESS, THE NEEDY, THE POOR, AND THE SIMPLE PEOPLE OF PAKISTAN ARE SUFFERING FROM THE WRATH OF ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’LA). JUST THINK ABOUT IT SERIOUSLY, REALLY!
Riba' verses in Holy Qur’an-in the order of compilation:
Surah Al Baqarah, Verses 275-281
Surah Aal-e -'Imran, Verse 130
Surah Nisaa', Verse 161
Surah Rum, Verse 39
Firstly the Riba' verses were revealed in Surah Ar-Rum:
"And whatever Riba' you give so that it may increase in the wealth of the people, it does not increase with Allah." (30: 39)
The second verse is of Surah An-Nisaa':
And [for] their taking of usury (Riba') while they had been forbidden from it, and their consuming of the people's wealth unjustly. And we have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. (4:161)
The third verse is of Surah Aal e Imran:
"O those who believe do not eat up Riba' doubled and redoubled." (3:130)
The fourth verse is of Surah Al Baqarah:
O those who believe fear Allah and give up what still remains of the Riba' if you are believers. But if you do not, then listen to the declaration of war from Allah and His Messenger. And if you repent, yours is your principal. Neither you wrong, nor be wronged. And if there be one in misery, then deferment till ease. And that you leave it as alms is far better for you, if you really know. And be fearful of a day when you shall be returned to Allah, then everybody shall be paid, in full, what he has earned. And they shall not be wronged." (2: 275-281)
"O those who believe, fear Allah and give up what still remains of the Riba' if you are believers. But if you do not, then listen to the declaration of war from Allah and His Messenger. And if you repent, yours is your principal. Neither you wrong, nor be wronged." [Al-Baqarah 2:278-279]
The point that the Riba' verses of Surah Al Baqarah make are:
• Unyielding resolve on the prohibition of Riba';
• Condemnation and absolute denunciation of Riba' practices, and tagging them as oppressive or unjust;
• Gravity of the sinfulness of Riba', especially that this is the only mention in the Holy Qur’an of ‘a notice of war from God Almighty and His Messenger (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam);
• Clear definition that any excess over principal is Riba’;
• Uncompromising position against rescheduling for an increment; and lastly;
Hinting that deferred-payment sale is an acceptable alternative.

HOW TO PRAY WITR SALAH
Easy to follow step by step guide for a Muslim looking to learn how to properly perform Witr Salah according to Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
INTRODUCTION TO WITR PRAYER
If you’re looking to learn how to pray Witr Salah then you probably know that it is slightly different from the other daily Islamic prayers.
The Witr Salah can be seen as problematic as the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught us different ways it could be completed. This has led to discussion of which is the right way to pray Witr?
The answer… there actually is no one right way. If there was there would be no discussion or disagreement. The way you may offer Witr prayer depends on which school of Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) you follow. All schools of Fiqh are based around Sahih Hadith and done according to Qura’nic teachings, no one school is more correct over another and it’s often a matter of preference.
Another common misconception is the Witr prayer is thought to be part of ‘Isha Salah, this is not entirely correct. Witr prayer can be offered anytime after Isha salah up until break of dawn.
IMPORTANCE OF WITR SALAH
Regarding the importance of Witr Salah, in a Sahih Hadith, The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Witr is a duty for every Muslim. [1]
As mentioned in our previous guide on how to pray Salah, every prayer is an opportunity for a Muslim to invest in deepening his or her relationship with their creator. As kids we may have viewed prayers as a duty or a chore but if we shift our perspective and take the time to understand why we offer prayer then we may be more disciplined and consistent with our prayers.
The Holy Qur’an teaches us that the prayer can be a source to gain sabr (patience), it is a spiritual act which brings tranquility to the believer’s heart, and is a means of self purification:
“O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.” 2:153
“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured.” 13:28
“Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.” 29:45
HOW MANY RAK’ATS IN WITR?
The consensus among the jurists is the Witr should be completed in odd number of Rak’ats. This can be three, five, seven, or even nine. The most common practice is to pray three Rak’ats for Witr and there are two ways this can be completed.
1. The first way is to pray three Rak’at without sitting for Tashahhud in the second Rak’at. [2]
2. You can pray two Rak’ats for Witr with Tashahhud and Tasleem. Then follow with one Rak’at again with Tashahhud and Tasleem. [3]
It is the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) to pray two by two and finish Witr with one Rak’at so an odd numbered of Rak’ats is completed.
In another Hadith it was mentioned that the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) prayed five, seven, and even nine Raka’ts in one Salat and did not separate them with Tasleem. [5]
IS WITR WAJIB OR SUNNAH?
There is a difference of opinion as to whether Witr Salat is obligatory.
Wajib – Mandatory prayer, in missing the prayer you are blameworthy. But it is not as bad as missing a Fard prayer.
Sunnah – Referred to as the Prophet’s practice. Here there are two types, one Rasoolullah (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) prayed regularly known as Mu’akkadah (for example, Eid prayer) and the other which the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) abandoned occasionally, Ghair Mu’akkadah.
According to Imam Abu Hanifah (Rahimullahi ‘alaihi) the Witr Salat is considered Wajib. The other three Imams regard this prayer as Sunnah Al-Mu’akkadah based off the Hadith which stresses that it is not obligatory.
HOW TO PRAY WITR (STEP BY STEP):
After going through the prerequisites of Salah, we are now ready to begin our Witr prayer. We will demonstrate what offering three Rak’ats Witr prayer would look like.
1. Begin with the proper Niyyah (intention) that you want to pray Salatul Witr and decide how many Rak’ats you will offer. This is not mandatory to say but just to give you an idea,
“I intend to offer _____ Rak’ats of the Witr prayer.”
2. Pray the first two Rak’ats just like a regular Fard Salah. We cover this in our guide to learning how to pray Salah. In the third Rak’at of Witr prayer recite Surah al-Fatihah followed by a few verses from the Holy Qur’an, then say the Takbir “Allahu Akbar”. Instead of going down for Ruku’ raise your hands to your ear lobes and bring them back down to your naval.
3. Here it is Sunnah to recite the Witr Du’a known as Qunoot or Du’a-e-Qunoot. There are two variations which are recorded and either is acceptable.
Allahumma ihdini feeman hadait, wa a’fini fiman ‘aafait, wa tawallani feeman tawallait, wa baarik lee feemaa a’tait, wa qinee sharra maa qadait, fa innaka taqdee wa laa yuqda 'alaik, wa innahoo laa yadhillu man walait, tabaarakta Rabbanaa wa ta’alait.
Meaning: O Allah guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, befriend me among those You have befriended, bless me in what You have granted, and save me from the evil that You decreed. Indeed You decree, and none can pass decree, and none can pass decree upon You, indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended, blessed are You our Lord and Exalted.
The above is generally the more accepted dua for Witr, the Hanafi commonly recite the version below. [8]
Meaning: O Allah! We invoke you for help, and beg for forgiveness, and we believe in you and have trust in you and we praise you, in the best way we can; and we thank you and we are not ungrateful to you, and we forsake and turn away from the one who disobeys you. O Allah! We worship you and prostrate ourselves before you, and we hasten towards you and serve you, and we hope to receive your mercy and we dread your torment. Surely, the disbelievers shall incur your torment.
If you wish to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) you can recite the Witr Du’as above. But this is not obligatory. You can substitute with any Du’a if you find the ones above difficult to learn.
An easier one to begin with is Rabanna aatina fid dunyaa du’a. It is, however, recommended to complete Witr according to Sunnah for the most blessings. This includes taking the time out to memorize the Qunoot Du’a.
4. After finishing the invocation, continue with Salat in the regular manner and finish with Tasleem.
5. For the three Raka’ts of Witr, it is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to recite Surah Al-A’la (Chapter 87) for first Rak’at, Surah Al-Kaafiroon (Chapter 109) in the second, and then Surah Ikhlas (chapter 112) in the final Rak’at. I stress again, this is not mandatory but the Sunnah of the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam).
HOW WITR IS PERFORMED IN MAKKAH AND MADINAH:
The two Harams at Makkah and Madinah follow the Shafi’i fiqh which differs in one way.
The Imam will pray two Rak’ats as usual.
He then starts a new Salat for one Rak’at. Reads the Holy Quran aloud and bows for Ruku’ in the regular manner.
The Imam will say SamiAllahu liman Hamidah and rise from the Ruku’. After recitation of Rabbanaa lakal Hamd the Imam will raise his hands and begin the supplication.
The Imam will audibly recite the Qunoot Du’a “Allaahumma ihdini feeman hadait…”, the followers behind him in prayer can say Ameen.
After the completion of Du’a-e-Qunoot, the Imam will complete the Salah in the usual manner.
HADITH ON WITR SALAH:
[1] Narrated Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (RadiyAllah ‘anhu): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The witr is a duty for every Muslim so if anyone wishes to observe it with five Rak’ats, he may do so; if anyone wishes to observe it with three, he may do so, and if anyone wishes to observe it with one, he may do so. Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani) Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud
[2] It was narrated that ‘Aishah (RadiyAllahu 'anhaa) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray Witr with three Rak‘ats, only sitting [for Tashahhud] in the last of them. Narrated by al-Bayhaqi (4581). This Hadith was classed as Sahih by Al-Hakim, and Adh-Dhahabi agreed with him. Al-Mustadrak (1/304). Classed as Sahih by An-Nawawi in Al-Majmoo’a (4/7).
[3] Narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (RadiyAllahu 'anhumaa), that he used to separate the two Rak’ats from the single Rak’ah with a Tasleem, and he said that the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) used to do that. Narrated by Ibn Hibban (2435); Ibn Hajar said in al-Fath (2/482): its Isnad is Qawwiy (strong).
[4] It was narrated that Ibn Umar (RadiyAllahu ‘anhumaa) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Prayer at night is two by two, and Witr is one Rak’at.'” Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference: Sunan an-Nasa’i
[5] Mansur reported from Al-Hakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn ‘Abbas (Radiyallahu ‘anhumaa) that Umm Salamah (Radiyallah ‘anhaa) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray witr with seven or five (Rak’ats), not separating between them with the Tasleem.” Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference: Sunan an-Nasai
[6] It was narrated that Ali (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu), said: “Witr is not essential like the obligatory prayers, but it is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).” Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference: Sunan an-Nasa’i
[7] Al-Hasan bin Ali (RadiyAllahu ‘anhumaa) said: “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) taught me some phrases to say during Al-Witr (Allahummahdini feeman hadait, wa aa’fini feeman ‘aafait, wa tawallanee feeman tawallait, wa baarik lee feemaa a’tait, wa qinee sharra ma qadait, fa innaka taqdee wa la yuqda ‘alaik, wa innahu laa yadhillu man walait, tabaarakta Rabbanaa wa ta’alait.)

The Holy Qur’an teaches us that the prayer can be a source to gain sabr (patience), it is a spiritual act which brings tranquility to the believer’s heart, and is a means of self purification:\

WHAT IS ISLAM?
INTRODUCING ISLAM TO BEGINNERS,
ESPECIALLY TO NON-MUSLIMS
Islam is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion centered on the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu ’alaihi wa Sallam) the religion's founder.
Adherents of Islam are called Muslims, who are estimated to number approximately 1.9 billion worldwide and are the world's second-largest religious population after Christians,
Muslims believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed many times through earlier prophets and messengers, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus.
Muslims consider the Holy Qur’an to be the verbatim word of God and the unaltered, final revelation. Alongside the Holy Qur’an, Muslims also believe in previous revelations, such as the Taurat (the Torah), the Zabur (Psalms), and the Injil (Gospel).
They believe that Prophet Muhammad is (SallAllahu ’alaihi wa Sallam) the main and final Islamic prophet, through whom the religion was completed. The teachings and normative examples of Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu ’alaihi wa Sallam), called the Sunnah, documented in accounts called the Hadith, provide a constitutional model for Muslims.
Islam is based on the belief in oneness and uniqueness of the God (tawhid), and belief in an afterlife (akhirah) with the Last Judgment—wherein the righteous will be rewarded in paradise (jannah) and the unrighteous will be punished in hell (jahannam).
The Five Pillars—considered obligatory acts of worship—are the Islamic oath and creed (shahada), daily prayers (salah), almsgiving (zakat), fasting (sawm) in the month of Ramadan, and a pilgrimage (hajj) to Makkah in Saudi Arabia.
Islamic law, sharia, touches on virtually every aspect of life, from banking and finance and welfare to men's and women's roles and the environment.
The two main religious festivals are Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. The three holiest sites in Islam are Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, and Al-Aqsa' Mosque in Jerusalem.
The religion of Islam originated in Mecca in 610 CE. Muslims believe this is when Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu ’alaihi wa Sallam). By the time of his death, most of the Arabian Peninsula had converted to Islam. Muslim rule expanded outside Arabia under the Rashidun Caliphate and the subsequent Umayyad Caliphate ruled from the Iberian Peninsula to the Indus Valley.
In the Islamic Golden Age, specifically during the reign of the Abbasid Caliphate, most of the Muslim world experienced a scientific, economic and cultural flourishing. The expansion of the Muslim world involved various states and caliphates as well as extensive trade and religious conversion as a result of Islamic missionary activities (dawah), as well as through conquests.
The two main Islamic branches are Sunni Islam (85–90%) and Shi’ah Islam (10–15%). While the Shi’ah–Sunni divide initially arose from disagreements over the succession to Prophet Muhammad(SallAllahu ’alaihi wa Sallam).
Shi’ah, they grew to cover a broader dimension, both theologically and juridically. The Sunni canonical hadith collection consists of six books, while the Shia canonical hadith collection consists of four books.
Muslims make up a majority of the population in 49 countries. Approximately 12% of the world's Muslims live in Indonesia, the most populous Muslim-majority country; 31% live in South Asia; 20% live in the Middle East–North Africa; and 15% live in sub-Saharan Africa. Muslim communities are also present in the Americas, China, and Europe. Muslims are the world's fastest-growing major religious group, due primarily to a higher fertility rate and younger age structure compared to other major religions.
Etymology
In Arabic, Islam (Arabic: إسلام, lit. 'submission [to God]') is the verbal noun of Form IV originating from the verb سلم (salama), from the triliteral root س-ل-م (S-L-M), which forms a large class of words mostly relating to concepts of submission, safeness, and peace.
In a religious context, it refers to the total surrender to the will of God. A Muslim (مُسْلِم), the word for a follower of Islam is the active participle of the same verb form, and means "submitter (to God)" or "one who surrenders (to God)". In the Hadith of Gabriel, Islam is presented as one part of a triad that also includes imān (faith), and ihsān (excellence).
Islam itself was historically called Mohammedanism in the English-speaking world. This term has fallen out of use and is sometimes said to be offensive, as it suggests that a human being, rather than God, is central to Muslims' religion.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Main articles: Aqidah and Iman
The Islamic creed (aqidah) requires belief in six articles: God, angels, revelation, prophets, the Day of Resurrection, and the divine predestination
DETAILS:
Islam is the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) as the final Prophet of God Almighty (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
In Arabic, Islām means ‘SUBMISSION,' from 'aslama which means to ‘SUBMIT (to God Almighty),' The word ISLAM in Arabic also means PEACE.
HOW DOES ONE BECOME A MUSLIM?
To become a Muslim, one simply declares the testimony of faith (in Arabic, it is called the shahada) with full conviction, in the presence of a witness. We wish to clarify that the whole matter is very easy, plain and simple, no water dipping, no money exchanged, and no certificate. The testimony of faith in Arabic is:
اشهد ان لا إله إلا الله و اشهد ان محمد الرسول الله
Ash hadu an laa ilaaha il Allah
I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except God Almighty
[Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala]
Wa ash hadu anna Muhammadar Rasul Allah And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
(Peace and Blessings be upon him.)
FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM
The Shahada is the first pillar of Islam and is what makes one a Muslim. The five (5) pillars of Islam consist of:
The testimony of faith (Shahada)
Five daily prayers (Salat)
Giving charity to the needy (Zakat)
Fasting the month of Ramadan
Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah) once in one’s lifetime, if able to do it.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Faith is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books (including the Torah and the Bible), His Messengers (from Adam to Jesus to Muhammad), the Last Day, and to believe in providence, its good and its perceived harm.
IHSAN
Excellence is to worship Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as if you see Him, or if you do not see Him, know that He surely sees you.

You are also forbidden to draw lots for decisions. This is all evil. Today the disbelievers have given up all hope of ˹undermining˺ your faith. So do not fear them; fear Me!
Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your way. But whoever is compelled by extreme hunger—not intending to sin—then surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

INTRODUCING ISLAM TO BEGINNERS, ESPECIALLY TO NON-MUSLIMS
Islam is the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) as the final Prophet of God Almighty (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
In Arabic, Islām means ‘SUBMISSION,' from 'aslama which means to ‘SUBMIT (to God Almighty),' The word ISLAM in Arabic also means PEACE.
HOW DOES ONE BECOME A MUSLIM
To become a Muslim, one simply declares the testimony of faith (in Arabic, it is called the shahada) with full conviction, in the presence of a witness.
We wish to clarify that the whole matter is very easy, plain and simple, no water dipping, no money exchanged, and no certificate. The testimony of faith in Arabic is:
اشهدانلاإلهإلااللهواشهدانمحمدالرسولالله
Ash hadu an laa ilaaha illAllah
I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except God Almighty [Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala].
Wa ash hadu anna Muhammadar Rasul Allah,
and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.
FIVE (5) PILLARS OF ISLAM
The Shahada is the first pillar of Islam and that is what makes one a Muslim. The five (5) pillars of Islam consist of:
The testimony of faith (Shahada)
Five daily prayers (Salat)
Giving charity to the needy (Zakat)
Fasting the month of Ramadan
Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah) once in one’s lifetime, if able to do it.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Faith is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books (including the Torah and the Bible), His Messengers (from Adam to Jesus to Muhammad), the Last Day (Day of Judgement), and to believe in providence, its good and its perceived harm.
IHSAN
Excellence is to worship Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as if you see Him, or if you do not see Him, know that He surely sees you.

Narrated Nafi` (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu):
Once on a very cold and stormy night, Ibn `Umar (RadiyAllahu ‘anhumaa) pronounced the Adhan for the prayer and then said, "Pray in your homes."
He, [Ibn `Umar RadiyAllahu ‘anhumaa)] added. "On very cold and rainy nights Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to order the Mu'adh-dhin to say, 'Pray in your homes.' "

HOW TO MAKE TAWBAH OR REPENTANCE (CONFESSION) TO ALLAH (SUBHANAHU WA TA’ALA)
.
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no da’i, nobody)! worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Whatever deeds one might have done, if one turns to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala in sincere Taubah and seeks forgiveness, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala has promised in the Holy Quran that He will forgive all the sins of such a believer.
Not only that, our Lord is so Merciful and Generous, that He not only will forgive the sins of the believer, He will change his evil deeds done into good deeds!
The conditions or way to seek sincere Taubah or Repentance from the Merciful Lord is:
One is aware that he has sinned, and feels sorry and ashamed at his sin.
Makes a solemn covenant and promise with Allah that he will not repeat his sin again.
Turns to Allah and seeks forgiveness, before he has met with his appointment of death.
Is a believer and does righteous good deeds.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verses 53-54:
\
(O Prophet) say: O My servants who have wronged their own souls.Do not despair of Allahs Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 135-136:
Allah likes such good people very much, who, if ever they commit a base deed or wrong their own soul by the commission of a sin, remember Allah instantly, and ask for forgiveness from Him for their shortcomings. For who, but Allah, can forgive sins? (And Allah loves those) who do not knowingly persist in the wrongs they did.
These will be rewarded with forgiveness from Allah, and with Gardens beneath which canals flow, and they will reside therein forever! How excellent is the reward of those who do good deeds!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqaan verses 63-71:
The (true) servants of the Merciful are those who walk humbly on the earth. When the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, they say, Peace to you; (And those) who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord and pray, O our Lord, save us from the torment of Hell, for its torment is killing!
It is an evil abode, and an evil resting place. (And those) who, when they spend are neither extravagant, nor miserly, but keep the golden mean between the two extremes. (And those) who do not invoke any god but Allah Alone, nor kill a soul unjustly, which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery
He who does this shall be punished for his sin, and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy; EXCEPT THE ONE WHO MAY HAVE REPENTED (AFTER THOSE SINS), AND HAVE BELIEVED AND DONE RIGHTEOUS DEEDS.
For then, Allah will change his evil deeds into good deeds, and He is very Forgiving and Merciful. In fact, one who repents and does righteous deeds, returns to Allah as one rightly should!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah An’aam verse 54:
When those come to you who believe in Our Signs, say: "Peace be on you! Your Lord had inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. Verily if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented and amended (his conduct), Lo! He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Making Tawbah or what’s known as Salat al Tawbah is one of the greatest acts of good that we as humans can do in order to relieve ourselves of the burden of our own wrongdoings. We all fall into sin. Lets be honest. Allah is the one that created us and he knew that we would fall into sin.
Which is why he describes himself as The Most Merciful God throughout the Quran. It’s important that you understand that Allah has described himself as The Most Merciful, so that you know his mercy is far greater than his anger.
So the question remains how do you do Salat Al Tawbah (the prayer of repentance)? You can follow the simple instructions that the Prophet (Peace Be upon him) gave us, which is to offer 2 Rakat Nafl Prayer, the optional prayer.
Then seek the forgiveness by asking for Allah’s forgiveness in Dua. Pre-requisite to tawbah is that you are in a state of ritual ablution or Wudu and that you are remorseful about transgressing the bounds of Allah.
It has been reported that Abu bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him said): “There is no one who commits a sin, then purifies himself and stands in Salah and offers two raka’at and seeks forgiveness, except that Allah will forgive him
