The Lion King Musical ~ my tribute to Nala and Simba....I am obsessed with “Can you feel the love tonight.” I just simply adore the characters of Nala and Simba, and how numerous actors and actresses manage to bring them to life. Amazing how a cartoon became an award-winning long-running broadway musical that is still played to this day. And soon we will have the live action movie of this animated film!

Avatar ~ The Last Airbender: The Legend of Aang

Rewatching this beloved series. Really wished there were stories made when they were adults.....before the Legend of Korra. I would still like to know if Sokka married Suki, if Prince Zuko really married Mai...what adventures did they have as adults before Avatar Aang passed away...that would been such great story-telling :-)

Star Wars Rebels Season 3 Episode 2 ~  my favourite Dathomirian male returns! 

Could Maul be still after Obi-Wan after all this time? Is that who he was referring to when he said all he wanted was ‘hope?’ To face his arch-enemy who destroyed his dreams, the Jedi that cut him in half and reduced him to what he is now. Does Ezra mean the planet Tatooine which has two suns as the one place he can find the answer to destroy the Sith once and for all? And we all know who lives there...Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan. What interesting assumptions. We will have to wait and see.

His hair is different, his clothing has changed - he’s now a teen-ager/young adult....and he’s going to be seduced by the Dark Side....

There are many emotional scenes in this episode but among them was when Kanan Jarrus returned, visually impaired, to the arms of his love Captain Hera who has been waiting anxiously for his return. I love the way she just warmly touched his face with sadness in her eyes and then embraced him tightly. Oh the feels…
