Some overlord stuff for the soul ft ransom fireman who made the mistake of confusing him w an autobot

Ok SO

The loose idea was a fireman got called to a burning multi story building, saw Overlord walking away and assumed he was an autobot. He asked for help (not knowing he was the one that started it) and only realised the mistake when he leaned down and saw the glowing red eyes and knew he fucked up

I was talking to a mate the other day about it and one of the things I like about his idw version is his design. It doesn't have the sharper edges, claws, reds, deep purples etc of other cons. The bots he most resembles are ultra magnus and Fortmax so to a human that wouldn't know a whole lot about them if you cant see the eyes at first glance its an easy enough mistake to make.

And better yet did he specifically choose mid tone saturated colours like blue and teal because subconsciously they're disarming so its a initial false sense of security or am I making mountain out of a molehill
