So I finally made a sculpt of Blyss and his neo-18th/19th century outfit! I used this concept art here as reference although changing some of the design again was quite tempting. I’ve set up some materials for this, but I like the way the model looks in plain white bathed in warm and cold tones of light. I tried to re-create a lighting setup mimicking the way I would paint an illustration, and I’ll keep on pushing in this direction for my future personal work.

He also solidified the idea of rabbits loving carrots when carrots actually carry very little nutritional value for rabbits. The funniest part of that is that the original joke was a reference to a Clark Gable film where Gable munches on a carrot, it was never meant to imply that rabbits love carrots. The Clark Gable reference would’ve been obvious to audiences in the 40s but it has been pretty much lost to time.
