ok imagine the fellowship of the ring. right. everything's the same but when Frodo is on the cart with Gandalf, they talk about Thorin being away on business in Erebor but he should have been done months ago, and home in time for the fireworks AND Frodo misses him a lot because Bilbo is no fun to go fishing with- Gandalf says something like "To think, Thorin Oakenshield basking in the Shire catching fish for supper." And Frodo just laughs bc that's all he's ever known his Uncle Thorin as.

And he mentions something abt the new pranks Fili and Kili taught Merry and Pippin the last time "the whole family was together" ok im done-
