Lacrimosa dies illa, Qua resuget ex favilla. Ah! That day of tears and mourning! From the dust of the earth returning.
While the astronauts, heroes forever, spent mere hours on the moon, I have remained in this new world for nearly thirty years. I know that my achievement is quite ordinary. I am not the only man to seek his fortune far from home, and certainly I am not the first. Still, there are times I am bewildered by each mile I have traveled, each meal I have eaten, each person I have known, each room in which I have slept. As ordinary as it all appears, there are times when it is beyond my imagination.

October 18, 2011 - I'm having a horrible day
Yeah, this is weird. As I lay in my brother's room famished, surrounded by my books and bags, trying to learn Object C, this quote made me think of myself as a 30 year old - the idea is so alien! Anyway, I've set it to publish on August 2, 2018. Frankly, I don't expect to live that long. The world is ending in 2012 anyway c(-:
Lets see if I get to read it then. Aha! I just buried a time capsule.

Ethereal Gifs by Damjan Malajev
Damjan Malajev (aka Himaleyev) is a 24 year old Language & Literature Professor working in Customer Support at an online company. On the side he creates ethereal, beautiful, abstract gifs that seem to come from another world. Damjan (who freely admits he is not a coder) is self taught, and creates his work using a combination of pixel sorting software, a morphing program from 2002, and photoshop. Although his work is related to generative and glitch art, it feels much more organic and fluid than that type of work usually does.

I am trying to both be happy and pay attention to the world around me. I do not know if it is possible to do both at the same time.

Check out my kitbashed K2SO! This one was a lot of fun to make! I started with the Star Wars Black Series K2SO toy, painted it with a few layers to make him look weathered, then wrapped his hands in tape, painted those too, added reflective stickers to his eyes, added the belt, leather cloak, and a hat made of sculpey and there you have it!
Reblog it! Share with pals!
