one of my favourite scenes in the film was the one where it was just alex and henry staring at each other during the new year's party (when everyone is "getting low"). just the two of them, no interruptions. henry in his feelings, alex unaware of the turmoil henry's facing, and yet, they share this intimate moment. truly beautiful.

In his Sunflowers talk with Trent, his biggest anxieties were centered around the reaction of other people finding out. That's what was important to him for this episode's scene: the reaction.
