Exercise May Benefit Those with Arthritis Knee Pain

However, Dr. Tilok Ghose says that the appropriate exercise program can often increase strength and flexibility, reduce pain, and improve overall health. Dr. Ghose says that arthritis patients may find the following activities beneficial:  Walking Walking is a simple and inexpensive form of exercise. Arthritis in the knees can make walking a challenge, but starting out slowly and gradually increasing activity is key. Tai Chi One of many alternative forms of therapy, Tai Chi is especially useful for elderly people.
