The spirit let out an alarmed yelp, jumping slightly as a voice startled him out of his musings. He quickly turned his attention the the stranger, eyes going slightly wide from their appearance. 

"U-uhhh…H-hello?" he squeaks out shyly, the spirit unable to stop himself from staring. More specifically, staring at the white wings that seemed to protrude from the strangers back.

Isaac blinked “oh,” he scratched at the back of his head. “The kitten thing sounds pretty neat,” he smiled. He could still tangibly feel the awkwardness of the conversation

"Uh, Irirangi, do you like tea much?" foolproof conversation reviver.

"Tea?" The ghost repeats quietly, head tilting slightly the the side. Tea. Now that was something he hadn’t had for a long time; and gosh, did he miss it. 

"Uhhh w-well, yes. I quite enjoyed tea when I was still alive" The spirit says with a small nod.

Isaac brightened up "Oh man! I've got all kinds, you want some?"

She chuckled and gave Isaac a few scratches behind the ears. “I haven’t really made a Christmas list since I was a little girl. I’m confident you can wing it on me, though,” Fern grinned. “You make an adorable housecat, Isaac.”

"What? But I’m terrible at shopping!" he flopped over "and I always thought I’d have a housecat, not BE one…" he huffed

          She heaved a contempt sigh, grinning as she gave him a tap on the nose. “Well, I still have confidence that anything you could think of for me will be perfect for Christmas. Though, I suppose I could give you a starting point …” she trailed off as she thought for a moment. “Perhaps you could find me a flowering plant. I recreated my office to look like my old home, so all of the existing plants are all just leafy greens and vegetables. I’ll let you take it from there.”

Isaac rolled over onto his feet, and nuzzled against her legs "Alright Fern, thanks" he purred
