Given that it had been literal centuries since Crella had last been outside of Penacony, she had an awful lot to catch up on. She'd asked a few people for destinations to visit, and the Xianzhou Luofu came up plenty of times, possibly due to the recent festivities. She figured it was as good a place to start as any and thus had she arrived on the extravagant flagship.
Taking in the sights, sounds, smells, she was almost too distracted to notice a familiar figure across the skysplitter lanes. The tall frame, the wide shoulders, the brown hair. She had never expected to see him again, honestly, she had always had the feeling he was just as bound to Penacony as she was. She had to get a closer look to make sure it was really him.
The bustling walkways made getting to him a bit difficult, but she still managed to catch up enough to be within earshot.
"Gallagher...?"
With nothing left for him on Penacony, Gallagher had set off. No one actually knew where he went, or even if he was still alive. But really, if he didn't want them to remember him, they wouldn't.
Maybe that had been a mistake. But with how big the cosmos were, what were the chances of running into most of them again?
Bigger than he expected, apparently. Because there on the Xianzhou Luofu, minding his own business, he met with someone he expected to see again even less.
He glanced over his shoulder at his name, and then he gave her a grin.
"Well, who'd have thought you'd make it all the way out here?"
