Roxy had a tendency to tag after him when they were at the same lecture, whether he was the speaker at it or not. In this case, they'd ended up sitting together, or rather, she'd come in after him, saw he had a free seat beside him and helped herself.
As they walked, he was talking about the subject they'd just heard about (robotics, and the speaker was painfully behind Ratio's own research). Something he'd said made Roxy stop, and a few steps later, he noticed and turned back.
And then her lips were on his. He stood there for the couple seconds the kiss lasted. And then, "Did that satisfy whatever idle curiosity you had?"

It was far from the first time he and Roxy had sparred when she visited. Others might say it wasn't "appropriate" but it wasn't as if Roxy was a regular visitor, anyway. She'd probably be bored out of her skull if Ayato attempted to bring her along on his usual day.
She was nowhere near as physically strong as he was, but her speed and finesse gave him a run for his money. This time, after what was probably several minutes, she'd finally managed to knock him off his feet.
A chuckle left his lips as he looked up at her. She'd followed him to the ground, pinning him down.
"Having fun?"

While he never thought of himself that way, maybe he was worrying about it now. He spent more time being friendly and docile than he did the last few years he lived on Fantasia.
