Finally about to start Gintama season 3 and I am excited.

The opening, “Donten”: Moody, atmospheric. Dare I say, hardboiled? There’s tension, a change in the air, as the cast prepares themselves for what’s coming. Even Madao looks boss af.

The ending, “Sanagi”: Ah! Gintama babies! We make our dreams come true! Ponykata, so handsome!!! This is the first time we see baby Gin-san, isn’t it? So cute! (2008 Me: Ooh? Is that their teacher? He seems nice. Are they finally gonna tell us about him? 2021 me: Uh…)

And what is the first arc of this new season? The Shinsengumi Crisis arc. When they showed the preview, I screamed. So loud. I didn’t think that they were going to start this season with a blazing punch to my face.

They’re really going all out. I love it.
