There’s no one you’d rather be with.

Cool with blows through the windows, the fresh smell of warm summer rain still lingering in the air. It finally stopped storming on your drive an hour ago, but the humidity still clings to the air. 

Sougo has one hand on the steering wheel, the other holding your hand. Your fingers intertwined with one another, and he rubs his thumb gently against your hand. He’s not usually this sweet, but so far your road trip with him has been nothing but bliss.

Music plays through the car speaker—one of your favorite songs that you put on the playlist for the trip. You sing along loudly, laughing without a care in the world.

A small smile tugs at Sougo’s lips. His eyes are focused on the road, but he’s imagining how nice it will be when they finally reach their destination. He can’t wait to press his lips against yours. For now, he settles on softly kissing the back of your hand.

And truth be told, there’s nowhere he’d rather be.

Hi! Could you write about how Takasugi, Katsura and Sougo would confess their feelings to someone? Can be in a non direct way too just really curious to see how they’d express their love for someone.

Takasugi:

he is in denial that he has developed feelings for you for a while and then a while longer

he is neither good at articulating his feelings properly nor at showing them with gestures

he may try to tell you how he feels in a roundabout way or metaphor but ends up saying “you should know how I feel about you” half annoyed, half flustered if you don't get it

he’ll get annoyed if you still don't get what he means or if you persist on him saying it properly

sometimes the looks he gives you expose his feelings for you but you'll never see it because he only looks at you this way when you are busy with something else and pay him no mind

Katsura:

for some reason he is always close to you, pops up out of nowhere randomly and you never know where he comes from

he is always there when you need his help and always there to get on your nerves when you absolutely don’t need it

Katsura does not even know himself why he ends up around you so damn often

he does not show his feelings for you purposely but the signs are just obvious at some point

he takes interest in your hobbies, work, your favourite food and just everything related to you

Okita:

he is like a child, has no idea how to properly express his feelings, or maybe he does but his pride won’t let him

he annoys you to death, whenever he sees a chance to get on your nerves, or embarrass you (especially in public) he takes the chance without hesitation

unfortunately, he is not good at knowing when to stop, and he’ll reach the point where he does hurt your feelings and it makes him feel utterly sorry, but a genuine apology is also not something he can muster

after you seemed to have recovered from his bullying, he starts again

giving you a pretty collar with a matching leash and asking you to be his pet is the closest you’ll get to a confession

already past 8 am and none of the Yorozuya members are here yet… Hijikata already knew they were a lazy bunch, but these conditions are unacceptable!

while Hijikata sits at Gintoki’s desk, annoyed that the Yorozuya members are either not up yet or have yet to arrive at their workplace, the realisation that he would be able to spend so much more time with you now suddenly hits him like a truck and leaves him shocked and unable to move for a moment before he breaks out in nervous sweat and hastily grabs a cigarette to calm himself down

he gets excited on his own and fantasizes about absolutely unrealistic scenarios in which you fall for him and confess your love for him when the sound of the front door closing interrupts his daydream, and moments later you walk into the room

his cheeks turn from light pink to fire red as he stutters your name, shifting on his chair before finally speaking the words "You are late," to his own surprise somewhat less seriously than intended

you stare at him, trying to digest what he just said before you ask perplexed, "I am what??"

Hijikata repeats himself, this time in a deeper tone and you just can’t hold back your laughter, this must be a joke! This is the only explanation, but his serious expression tells you otherwise

like most days at the Yorozuya there are no jobs today, so you make yourself comfortable on the couch, playing on your phone while eating snacks

from time to time, you glance up only to catch your boss staring at you and hastily turning his head away and pretending to be busy with something whenever your eyes meet

Hijikata can’t stop himself from looking at you, he just wants to involve you in a conversation but does not know how to initiate it

you sigh with relief when you hear Shinpachi entering the Yorozuya shop, luckily you don’t have to deal with weird “Gintoki" alone anymore…

the longer the soul switch lasts the more unusual interactions happen with Hijikata who can't help not acting like Gin or even normal around you whatsoever

you can't quite put your finger on what's wrong with "Gintoki" but whenever you try to broach the subject he always manages to dodge the conversation or something else major happens to distract you from it

after everything was back to normal you could slap yourself for not realizing sooner what was going on… looking back it was pretty obvious that it was not Gintoki who you were dealing with in the last few days

"Remember all our old nights like this?" he says, voice low and deep in the darkness of your room.

"I do," you say, wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing him deeply.

It doesn't take long for him to quickly strip the rest of his clothes off, and yours as well. Soon, he's inside of you, thrusting rapidly against your walls. whenever he witnesses you trying to execute your Yakuza responsibilities by clumsily collecting protection money from small shops, Gintoki turns on the heel and walks off into the opposite direction, pretending he didn’t see anything

every time you mess up or forget something, Gintoki mocks you openly and has no scruples whatsoever asking you how you managed to end up with the Yakuza even though you are so useless

at some point you inevitably end up in big trouble and even though Gintoki declares loudly that he’ll help you only if you pay him a big amount of money afterwards, after everything was over and he saved your ass, he never mentions money ever again

getting to know you better over time results in Gintoki slowly developing warm feelings towards you and he ends up finding your clumsiness endearing, it shows in occasional soft smiles when you mess up but be prepared to still be bullied by him all the time for every mistake you make
