if anything, she loved it!!

she loved being held by you a lot, especially during the winter

if anyone made you feel insecure about your size, though, she’d make sure that they’d regret it

for example, one time you guys were at a party and someone had made a comment on your weight and how she deserved better

she kindly told them to fuck off

she nearly punched them

honestly she probably did after the party when you weren’t looking

if there was an outfit that you liked that they didn’t sell in your size, she’d make it for you

though she’d have her tailors make it if the design was too complex, but she’d make sure to embroider something of her own into the piece to make it special

overall, she loved you, and she made sure that you loved yourself, too

she wasn’t one for huge proposals, especially since everyone was always in peoples business about it* but she had been wanting to marry you for months* so one day she finally plucked up the courage to buy you a ring

she planned to propose that same day* however, you also knew about her dislike of fancy proposals

so you were going to propose once she got home from “grocery shopping”

she got back home, placing the groceries on the counter and whatnot* you asked her how she was, everything usual

she started explaining her day, but stopped after she felt you grab her hand

she turned, and saw you with a ring in your other hand

“maki-“

she never let you finish and instead bent down to kiss you* “so i’ll take that as a yes?”

“you’re still questioning it?”

as she said that, she pulled out a ring as well, much to your surprise

Tenko:

she had decided to take you to an amusement park

you thought that it wasn’t really any special day, but that’s what made it so perfect

it’d be such a surprise to her if you proposed!!

but she had the same idea

the sun was beginning to set, and you both had the idea of going on a ferris wheel

the closed car ones, neither of you were risking the ring falling out

the ride stopped while you two were were at the top of the wheel, and it was perfect opportunity

“tenko-”

“S/O!!”

you were both holding out rings, much to each other’s surprise

after you both finally processed what was happening, you laughed and kissed her before trading rings

Shuichi:

you two were on a walk in the park at night, and thankfully, no one else was there

you two could just enjoy the night together

however, that night was the night you had both planned to propose

at the same place in the park, even

it was in a large field of flowers surrounding a cherry blossom tree, and the night couldn’t be more perfect

you two slowly made your way over there, both shaking with nerves

once you two finally reached the tree, you didn’t hesitate to get down on one knee

he turned towards you, about to get his own ring out, when he saw you kneeling down beside him

he stood there in shock for a good minute ngl

then he got down and pulled his own ring out as well

“s/o... i was actually going to propose to you as well.”

and you pulled him into a kiss, unable to stop smiling

Angie:

she had painted a lot of things for you as a method of proposing to you

she had planned it all out perfectly, and would have you decipher the messages hidden across her artwork

so she invited you to her studio, having planned to make you solve her puzzle 

but it didn’t exactly work out that way

“angie?”

“hm?”

she turned towards you, and you were on one knee, a rink in your hand 

one that you had made her, nonetheless

“ohh, is this a proposal?”

you nodded, looking at her as you awaited an answer

“hm, i’ll consider it. solve my puzzle first, though, s/o!”

you looked at her in confusion, and then she gestured towards the paintings on the wall

it didn’t take you long to decipher it 

“oh, you were planning to propose too?!”

she nodded and held out her own self-made ring, beaming

you grinned back, kissing her on the forehead before trading rings

Miu:

being the ultimate inventor, of course she would make some over-the-top fancy machine in order to propose to you

though you had planned to just casually propose out of nowhere

as she was finishing her machine, you burst into her lab out of nowhere

“j-jeez, s/o! at least fuckin’ knock!”

“but this is important!”

she looked up from her work as you started coming towards her

“huh-”

“miu!”

you got down on one knee, pulling out a box

“will you-”

“are you seriously proposing to me?!”

she interrupted you before you could finish, but you nodded

she got extremely flustered and ran over to her machine

“i was planning to propose too! no fair!”

she didn’t even wait for a reaction before she turned on the machine

you watched as the machine created a flamboyant show, ending with the machine holding out a bright, newly-carved ring

you smiled at her before taking the ring, silently appreciating the effort she had put in to get this to you

Rantaro:

he had taken you out on his boat one night in order for you both to just calm down and have a relaxing night together

though you both knew that wasn’t happening 

you had made the decision months before to propose to him, but you were never able to find the right time 

besides right now, that is

little did you know that he had been doing the same thing

you waited until the sun completely set and you two were just looking over the dark water 

and you two were snuggled up next to each other, watching the waves

your heart was beating super fast from nerves, but you finally decided to stand up

which he did as well

you started to get down on one knee, and noticed him doing the same 

by the time you were both down with your ring boxes open, you were both frozen, just staring at each other 

finally, rantaro spoke

“i guess we can take this as both of us saying yes, right?”

you didn’t answer, and instead leaned forward to kiss him

Kokichi:

knowing him, proposing to kokichi would be rather difficult 

especially since he was busy planning the proposal of a lifetime

he would have you run through falling debris! dodge bullets! slide your way under collapsing buildings!

or, that’s what he would’ve had

if D.I.C.E. hadn’t shut him down immediately

meanwhile, you were stuck trying to figure out how to propose

you weren’t even sure how he’d react, him being how he is 

but you went for it anyways, and finally settled on the element of surprise 

he decided to propose through a game of hide and seek

in a maze

you two were walking through a large corn maze that you had snuck into after closing hours, and you had thought it would be a perfect time to propose

but kokichi interrupted you

“s/o~! come and find me~!”

before you could say anything, he had ran off into the maze, and you were left with the task of finding him 

sighing, you started making your way through the maze to find him

after at least an hour of searching, you caught a glimpse of purple hair behind one of the stalks

and you charged at him before he could escape again

tackling him, you crashed into one of the paths, and he grinned at you

“aww, s/o, you finally found-”

“marry me.”

he stared at you and blinked, processing what you said

you grinned and produced a ring from your pocket, and he frowned

“no fair, i was gonna propose first! you’re so mean, s/o.”

then he was grinning again

“but that was just a lie!”

he sat up and kissed you, pulling the ring over his finger

F- Face: is their face fallen on one side?

A- Arms: can they raise both their arms up and hold them there?

T- Time: if all the signs show a stroke, call 999.

We managed to save my nana with this information when she had her first stroke.

Chihiro:

you two were at a restaurant

and chihiro had made an entire program for you in order to propose

of course they had to get permission from the ownersto play it on the tvs, which they thankfully allowed

it was set to play at 9 sharp

and it was 8:58, and chihiro was bouncing with nerves

you, however, seemed not to notice

because you had something else entirely on your mind

suddenly, you were at chihiro’s seat on one knee

“S/O-“

“chihiro, will you marry me?”

just as you had asked, the program played on the tvs

you looked back to watch it, and then back to chihiro, who was smiling

“i guess you have your answer!”

Hajime:

you two were walking along the beach, holding hands as you watched the sun set

you two were on vacation, and had decided to visit the place not far from the hotel

it was mostly quiet, give or take a few seagulls

and his heart was pounding a million miles a minute

he was trying to decide when the right moment would be, when suddenly, you stopped

he turned towards you and you were on one knee, grinning

“hajime, will you marry me?”

he kinda just blinked at you in disbelief

“s/o, can you say that again?”

you didn’t respond and instead gestured to your ring box, but after a second he was on one knee too

holding out a ring box as well

and you two started laughing, realizing how you two were worried for nothing

he took you to a really fancy restaurant that you had wanted to go to for months

you two had just finished eating dinner, and you were waiting on your deserts

but you obviously had other plans

you got up from the table and stood beside him, which led to his confusion

and then you were getting down on one knee, pulling a box from seemingly out of nowhere

he didn’t even give you a chance to finish before he picked you up and swung you around

of course, you got some stares, but neither of you cared

he put you back down

you two were at a ball in her castle

and you two had been dancing all night, just enjoying your time together

sonia has thrown this ball specifically to propose to you

and she was getting more nervous by the second

she was planning to propose at midnight, out on the balcony where you two always enjoyed hanging out after her royal stuff had been taken care of

it was 11:57, and she knew it was time

“s/o! i think we should head outside, it’s quite stuffy in here.”

you agreed, and followed her outside

but it also gave you your opportunity

you were also planning to propose in the same place, at midnight

so you two stared over the edge, the moonlight enveloping you both, as you two awaited for the clock to strike

and you were both reaching for your boxes

then the clock struck midnight, and you both turned towards each other

“s/o-“

“sonia-“

you were both on one knee, a ring in front of you

and you both stared at each other for a good minute, before you started to laugh

after standing back up, you two exchanged rings and kissed each other

Kaito:

he had taken you stargazing in one of your favorite places

and you were snuggled up to him, staring at the stars

he pointed out constellations to you, telling you what they mean and whatnot

though there were a few clouds here and there, which annoyed him

but alas! he must carry out his plan regardless

after a while he points one out that looks like a circular shape

“you know, it almost looks like a ring, s/o!”

“oh, like this one?”

you had sat up and looked over at him, as you pulled out the ring from your ring box

“no, no, like this-“

but it finally hit him that you were proposing

“wait, you stole my line!”

you laughed, motioning for him to sit up

“i never said you couldn’t say it too!”

Kaede:

she had invited you to her final piano concert for the year, which you had already known about for a while

and also the very concert that you planned to propose to her at

though, you didn’t know that she was planning the same thing

once she played her final note, you gave her a standing ovation, as well as the rest of the theater

and she just grinned at you, and watched as you moved towards the stage

you ran up and hugged her, giving her a kiss on the cheek as well

“kaede, that was beautiful.”

she thanked you, and she started to head towards the microphone in order to thank the audience

as well as propose to you

but you stopped her, telling her that you needed to ask her something first

she tilted her head

“what is it, s/o?”

and you had gotten on one knee to propose to her

the audience cheered, and she stood in shock, rapidly nodding and bending down to hug you once more

after you two had kissed, she pulled away and made her way to the mic

“funnily enough, i was planning to propose tonight too.”

she turned towards you and grinned, a ring in her hand as the audience cheered once more

you two have been dating for a while, and he knew about your habits

and after a while he began to notice them more often, and he was getting concerned

he’d give you small reminders here and there, such as asking if you had eaten or gotten enough sleep

eventually, he decided to step in and be more attentive to your habits

he’d always tell you to take off your binder once you got home

sometimes he would make you food in order to make sure you were eating enough, and eating healthy

he’d also make sure you went to bed at a decent hour

if you had a lot of work or projects to do that day, he would make sure you completed them earlier so that you wouldn’t be up all night doing them

some days it was unpreventavle, though

so he made sure that you were at least taking care of everything else

sometimes if you told him that you hadn’t eaten or slept well, he’d give you That Look™️

it was all pretty chill and you two were just talking a stuff

then he remembered he forgot something in the venue

he said he would be right back and ran to go back and get it

so you were leaning against the wall, waiting for him to return

but you were waiting next to an alleyway

before you knew it, you felt a pair of hands grabbing you and pulling you back

leon had just turned the corner and saw you being yanked back

he ran at lightning speed towards you

he pulled you back from the kidnapper, kicking them in the face in the process

they ran off, and leon held you really tightly, and wouldn’t stop apologizing for not taking you with him

you two called the police right after you had calmed down and were safe at home

Mondo:

you two were going for a night walk on your way to the park, just to enjoy the night out and go stargazing

and a van pulled up besides you two

you guys didn’t really think much of it, assuming that they were just parking

until the door had opened and you were shoved inside

and they had begun to drive off

of course, being the leader of a biking gang, he (thankfully) had one of his members watching nearby just in case

so they drove up to mondo, allowing him to use their bike

and he went after the van like nothing else mattered

soon he caught up to the drivers window, and he was livid

so naturally he broke the window and punched the guy inside, who in turn slammed on his breaks

he pulled you out of the van and onto the bike, and you were shaking and crying

he took a picture of the van before driving off with you

the kidnappers were reported and arrested within the hour, and he comforted you once you two were home safe

Taka:

you two were out at the store, nothing new

you were getting groceries and such

and halfway through shopping taka realized he forgot his wallet in your car

he tried to come with you, but you said it wasn’t a big deal, and that you’d handle it

he trusted you, and continued shopping

when you got outside, there was a pot of honey on top of the car

confused, you grabbed it and inspected it

and then suddenly you were grabbed from behind

meanwhile, taka had gotten a sinking feeling in his stomach, but he couldn’t recognize it

so he assumed it was because he forgot something else besides his wallet

he went out to ask you if you could remember if there was anything else you think he forgot

but all he saw was you were being grabbed and dragged to someone’s car

2 seconds later and he was beating the shit out of them

he tried getting their name, but to no avail, so he had you take a picture of them and their car

he had caused a lot of commotion, so some people were watching the scene unfold

the kidnapper couldn’t really do anything more, so they ran away

you were really shaken up, from both the kidnapping and the fight

all he did was hold you and apologize for not going with you

even if you said it was fine, he promised to never let you go alone again

Nekomaru:

nekomaru was never really one to let his guard down, especially when it came to being with you

he did trust you; you were strong and handled yourself, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t worry

the only place he didn’t really worry too heavily about was when you were at home

after a day out together, he dropped you off at home, and told you that he’d see you again tomorrow

but he didn’t notice that you two had been followed

he drove off, not thinking much more of it

as he did, the kidnapper had started to make his move

since you had already gone into the house, the kidnapper had needed a way to get inside

so he picked the lock to the front door, so that they could easily carry you out

once they were successfully inside, they had gone looking for you

meanwhile, nekomaru has realized that you had forgotten your bag in the car

so he turned around and headed back to the house to give it to you

he realized something was wrong when he saw an unfamiliar car in front of your house and the door wide open

he quickly rushed out, leaving the bag and running into the house to look for you

the kidnapper had cornered you with a knife

it didn’t take long before he realized your situation

you caught his eyes, and the kidnapper followed your gaze, seeing nekomaru seething with anger behind them

they didn’t even have time to react before they were thrown across the room, and a second time out the door

literally

the kidnapper rushed off, and nekomaru made sure to secure the door

he went and comforted you afterwards

he stayed with you the rest of the night, and not long after, he suggested that you move in together in case anything like that ever happened again

it was after the first trial, and everyone had begun to make their way back to their dorms in shock

no one spoke the entire way back

except from a couple comments from kokichi

ryoma held your hand the entire way back, and he could feel you shaking

it wasn’t until you two got to the room that you fell to your knees, shaking and crying

after closing the door, he rushed to your side, rubbing your back and trying to calm you down

he eventually got you to sit on the bed instead of the floor

you held onto him, and he let you, hugging you back

you were breathing pretty heavily, so he was whispering comforting words to you, hoping to calm you down some more

after you were calm and the attack was over, you two just sat in silence and listened to each other breathe

at one point, you fell asleep

he got you into bed and slept next to you, just in case

he wanted to make he was there in case you started panicking again

at least when he was ordering

but when it was your turn to order you froze up and couldn’t speak

he noticed this, and told the server you needed more time

after they left you calmed down a bit, and teruteru asked if it was from your anxiety

you nodded, and he took your hand, circling your palm with his thumb

he offered to order for you, and you accepted, telling him what you wanted before the server came back

on another occasion, you two were out in a large crowd, when your anxiety started acting up again

based on your situation, you wouldn’t be able to get out of the crowd for a few minutes, so he did his best to comfort you while in the crowd

he would hold your hand and rub circles over it, or he’d even hug you, if you were comfortable with it

he’d give you space if you needed it, though

nowadays you two tend to avoid crowds like the plague

Ryoma Comforting His Depressed S/O

he suspected that you had been upset lately, but he had no idea why

he didn’t say anything at first in case he was wrong, but after some time he finally asked you about it

so you told him, if you were comfortable enough to share it with him

and by the end you were crying

he sat with you and hugged you, telling you comforting words

as someone who had been depressed for a lot of his life, he knew the struggles that came with it

he also offered you his cat to try and make you feel better

whether it helped or not, you still appreciated the effort

he would try to get you to focus on some of your favorite things instead of whatever was bothering you

& he’d play with your hair or hold your hand if it helped calm you down

he’d make sure that some of your comfort items or snacks were near you in case he couldn’t be there

if you decided to vent about it, he would relate some of his struggles to your own so that you wouldn’t feel as alone

i am SO sorry that this took me so long to get to i’ve been super busy

Taka Being Protective Of His S/O

he normally didn’t mind you doing things alone, and he trusted you, but some days he wanted to make 100% sure you were alright

he’d always keep his eye out for anything that could put you in danger

and he’d always be cautious around notorious rule breakers and rude people

in public spaces, he tends to be closer to you so that he can protect you, if need be

especially if you tend not to pay attention to some things

for example, one time there was a kid who threw a baseball to their friend and their friend missed

let’s just say if taka wasn’t there you’d probably would have broken your nose

he always stands up for you

especially if there’s conflict that involves you

or if someone drags you into an argument and he can tell that it’s making you uncomfortable, he’ll get you out of the situation as quickly as possible

he knows when to keep his boundaries, though

if he trusts that you can handle a situation by yourself he’ll let you

and sometimes he has to prevent himself from interfering

ofc!! sorry this took so long to get to

Shuichi Comforting a Depressed S/O after a trial

he was relieved to finally be out of the trial room and back into open air

once you’re all back on the surface, he goes to look for you

and he sees you, tears falling down your face rapidly

he immediately rushes over to comfort you, pulling you into a hug or just holding you some other way

not wanting everyone else to overhear your conversation, he brings you somewhere private and asks you what’s wrong

you tell him after you had calmed down a bit

the trial was too emotionally heavy for you to handle by yourself

he says nothing and pulls you into another hug, and you two stay like that for a while

he’ll start mumbling reassuring words to you, rubbing your back

if you fall asleep, he’ll carry you to your dorms and stay with you for the night, just in case

i feel like this was too short but oh well
