“Well i ‘ave a couple of places in mind if yer really in’erested.” Ronin grinned, “I’s a nice li’l place up in Kalos.”

“I love what I’ve seen of Kalos so far,” Cy seemed very excited at the prospect, “I can only imagine anywhere you’ve been is super amazing.”

“Well i’s a lovely li’l resor’ tha’ I didn’ ‘ave the chance ta really enjoy las’ time I was there.” He smiled, “I’s a quie’ place on the edge of a lake. You’ll love i’.”

He nodded, “Yeah, i’s mos’ly waivers and safety paperwork. A li’l bi’ of work permi’s and the like.”

He took another bite out of the pastry before continuing, “Nothin too crazy really, nothin I don’ usually deal with.”

“Ugh, I could use a little less paperwork in my life,” Cy groaned, leaning into Ronin’s shoulder, “A little vacation would be nice… maybe just you and me sometime?”

“Well I defini’ley could use the break myself, plus i’ would be nice ta ‘ave some time together.” He grinned, “Go’ any place in mind?”

Kas settled down beside Trance, giving him a once over as he curled up.

“Well, I’m glad I didn’t offend you then, Trance. What’s a lovely fellow like yourself doing out here all alone? Didn’t get stood up on a picnic date or something wild like that, did ya?”

Trance chuckled, “Oh no, nothing like that. I’m just relatively new to the area and was out exploring. Plus I’d hate to waste this lovely weather you know.”

He opted to settle down on the grass for a bit himself, “What about you Kas, just out enjoying the sun?”

“Yup,” Kas said proudly. He went to sit back on his haunches and as he did, his Gijinka form materialized. The large blonde man smiled down at Trance, “There’s really nothing like a lazy day spent basking in the sun, y'know?”

The lilac haired man nodded, “I can agree with that. I was a feeling a bit restless honestly, I’ve been cooped up in the little cottage my friend owns for a couple of weeks now.”

Ronin shook his head, “Of course no’ love, jus’ takin some time ta relax. Busy day of work an all tha’.”

He took the box from Cy, gently setting it down on the counter before opening it up. He grinned, “Well consider me pleasan’ly surprised love. You wan’ ta stay fer a bi’?”

“Of course I do, I want to hear all about your day!” Cy took a seat beside Ronin, beaming up at him sweetly, “I tried to pick some really unique flavors, I hope you like them.”

Ronin smiled, picking up one that was a light purple and cream color, “Well I’m eager ta try ‘em then.”

He took a bite of the pastry and smiled, it was just slightly sweet with the flavor of lavender and milk. He offered it to his boyfriend as he began talking again, “Today was fine, finished up some paperwork fer the guys who still work fer me. Go’ some stuff taken care of fer Miss Rai.”

Ronin set down the mostly empty glass on the counter as he heard the front door to his cottage open and close. He looked up and offered the green haired man a warm smile, “Cy! I wasn’ expectin ta see ya tonigh’. Is somethin wrong? Or do ya need somethin?”

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t interrupting anything, was I?” He asked sweetly, offering a box out to Ronin, “The twins and I just came back from a shopping trip in Johto, I wanted to surprise you with some nice pastries.”
