Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

hey guys so i just lost my job today for not being able to make sales goals

I wasn’t going to post this at first because of all of the discourse around this & because I really don’t care all that much bc none of my dragons will ever have this but maybe someone will appreciate it ~ the edits are still equally disturbing but imo just look more pleasing? the scarring and eye color is just v ugly and I wanted to see how it would look with just the multi-eye thing going on a couple edits below vv

and then simply changed the eye color to plague colors

like I said, still equally disturbing so sorry about that but I kinda dig it?

I was going to doodle my dryad’s camp but went for the beast’s instead, bc the dryads just have like... a forest inside some mountains, and that’s it.

The beast’s camp is always pretty dark - trees are tightly packed around the edges of a shallow canyon. The camp is just wound throughout this canyon, some parts more developed than others. These dragons are sensitive, so some prefer the isolation, and most prefer the dark.
