The Wild cosplay returns.

So to anyone who was like HARU you should write more fanfiction... I did. I continued my Wild's Vision Problem fic, this time Wild is non-binary, and they are also dealing with more chronic issues than just vision.

I also altered chapter 1, quite a bit so it has some more details with the slightly altered direction I took with Chapter 2.

Chapter 2 features a lot of Sky and Hyrule.

Okay, I’ll play ball. I never post but…

I think the obvious answer is Link from Legend of Zelda. But I think that I was more like “we are one and the same”

I think a better one is N from Pokemon Black and White. Like a distant friend but I always was like “oh green haired boy is back”.

Also Amiti from Golden Sun Dark Dawn also felt so much like a friend. Same with Sveta from the same game.

I love how long it took me to realize it was trans. When I was little I would have my parents put a blanket on my head in a specific way so it would look like I had long hair and a pony tail.

I would then tell my brother to call me his sister. I don’t know if any of them remember that but I just suddenly did and I’m dying.

Funger Levi moment.

I love that the only thing that makes me use Tumblr again is my relapse into Funger lore. Maybe I’ll actually force myself to fully play it this time.

So new ideas on how Marcoh and Levi meet and I have a few options on how I picture it happening.

Option 1:

It’s day 1, and Olivia had her wheelchair so Marcoh doesn’t hesitate to follow Levi when he sees him running panicked away from the train. This makes Levi think Marcoh is trying to kill him, causing Levi to freak the fuck out. He runs to the restaurant and he’s in the kitchen. Where he’s having his withdrawals, Marcoh having stolen some heroin on his way out of Vatican City, offers it to Levi. Levi sobs and takes it, but Marcoh won’t leave him there. He allows Levi to do what he needs to do, but refuses to let Levi think he’s a burden for needing help. He picks him up and is like “yeah you’re my brother now and I’m not leaving you out here”

Option 2:

During Night 1, Marcoh notices Caligura skulking around, and going off on his own into the city. He tails the mobster to find him about to attack Levi. And in the split second he sees his sister, he sees himself. A kid struggling to make it through and a mobster who is happy to take advantage of it. So he slams Caligura into the wall knocking him out cold and picks up Levi before tearing off into the night and back to the train. Levi is freaking out because he’s not sure what’s going on. But Marcoh eventually calms him down with Abella or Olivia’s help back at the train.

Option 3:

Marcoh goes out to find Olivia a wheelchair with Tanaka. (Pav has been injured so he’s not there to attack them) On their way back from finding it, Marcoh hears screams and rushes over, finding Calugura leaving an alley hastily. Caligura tries to say that it was a mutated townsfolk, but Marcoh doesn’t trust the mobster. So he looks for himself. And finds Levi badly hurt but alive. Levi is a mess, but Marcoh wastes no time picking up Levi and carrying him to Tanaka. They rush back to the train and get Daan who has just finished taking care of Pav. Daan will rush to help the boy, and Marcoh will leave the train in anger. He decides that with today’s events killing a third person won’t add much more to his guilt. And sets off to find Caligura.

I just like the idea that Marcoh would see Levi and be like “that’s my little brother now, and I will punch god if I have to keep him safe”

I’m picturing Marcoh finding Levi during a panic attack and being like “this could have been me.” And then proceeds to pick Levi up and carry him back to safety.

But then he also has the horror of finding out that his new little brother’s traumatic past and being like “Fuck this shit, I’m punching god, punching another god, and I’m getting him out of here as soon as this shit is over”

Is it ever weird when blogs like mine suddenly post? Am I like a zombie that’s risen from the dead to eat brains (make one vague post about my life) before suddenly deciding that maybe eating brains isn’t for me.

Like I know I didn’t have many mutuals who actively followed my stuff but still… am I a vampire who randomly just goes like “is blood something I’m into again”, try it and then decide “nah I think I’m gonna just go sleep in a hole for a bit”

Mutual I need your input, do y’all ever look at a post I randomly put up and be like “wait Haru you’re not dead?”

Y’all sometimes I’m having to research stuff for school, and I have no clue what I’m expected to look for. And I can’t fault anyone but myself because I did agree to do this research. And for some reason I chose to “find the gaps in the current literature” that means I have to research everything in regard to the plantar-flexion manual muscle test, which fun fact is neither; a manual test at the highest level or a strength test.

But I signed up for researching all literature for this topic to define the gaps… why did I do this to myself.

This is the first time i've posted art in like. Two years, maybe more, and its only like. The second/third time I have EVER posted art to tumblr... Hi my names Vee im actually studying visual arts NOT writing HAHHGD This is Zuko, designed specifically for the AU im writing over on ao3 called No thing defines a man like love WHICH HAS A NEW CHAPTER OUT WOWIE WHAT!?>!??!! (I just went to link it and then I realised that the chapter isnt out yet bc I need to post this so I can put it in the chapter oh god I swear I'll update this with the links hjdhjfjhds) ( I just realised i should just put the normnal link for the fic in not. The most recent chapter. Um. here https://archiveofourown.org/works/55992616/chapters/142200913 ) So!! yes! Zuko! Um. I put a lot of thought into this design, but now im actually here I have. No clue what to say! The blue spirit mask is slightly altered, little additions such as a second set of protruding canines on the bottom and water tribe style carvings along the horns + teeth! This is a nod to Zukos mum, I like the idea of her performing and then local performances of shows having different interpretations of the Blue Spirit! hers had the teeth, I also have in the fic a few other details I imagine were more unique to Zukos design. The carving is done by a crew member, Kovak, as a way of tying Zuko in more with the Water Tribe. Theres also some dangly leather bc I think its cute and its my Zuko design. So. The details of his canon timeline design will become fully explained within the next few chapters!! U will get to see the changes develop : D Um. Oh god I had so much more to say about it but now im blanking i get so nervous posting my art... if u have any questions i suppose pls ask... I am very proud of this. Uh. YEAH! Also pls dont repost this work anywhere I'll be very upset if u do....

i'm so serious about this. without timestamps you don't know when a post was originally made. every day on this website i see people reblogging years-old articles, freaking out like something is recent news. i see people getting slammed for shit they long apologized for that's getting dragged out as if it just happened. old outdated science and history posts, recall warnings from five years ago, politics discussions that make no sense now.

this isn't just an issue with tumblr's settings, although the fact that timestamps are opt-in is fucking bonkers. people do not read dates on posts, on articles, on anything, and behave as if everything they see on the internet, now over 30 years old, is brand new and currently relevant. look at dates! remember that things from 2022 are not as relevant as they might appear to be! stop mindlessly repeating things you don't even pay enough attention to to know when they happened!

One crazy thing about grad school, is that you spend so much of your time studying and focusing on it that you kind of forget what your interests are. It’s strange, you end up in a position where once the semester is over you have this week of just nothingness while you wait for your memories of how you live your life to come back.
