“that’s super dope. when do I get a listen?” she asked with a smile. “well Tokyo is always my favorite place to visit but I was really digging Australia. super relaxing and tons of beach babes” she said with a giggle.
Shane + Blake || A Drink

Shane walked into the liquor store, and grabbed a six pack of beer. He made plans with a girl that he met on set a few days ago, and he assumed that the night would be more fun with a few drinks. He was supposed to meet her at the park at six o’clock, but he was running a little early. It couldn’t hurt to get there a little sooner, so he continued on his path. When he arrived, he walked over to a park bench. There was already a girl sitting on one side of it, but he didn’t think she’d mind, so he sat down anyways. Shane’s phone started to buzz, and he looked down to see a message from the girl. Hey, got stuck at work. Another time. Shane opened one of the beers and took a swig. “Hey, you want one?” he asked, turning to the other girl on the bench. “I probably shouldn’t drink them all, and it’s alcohol abuse to let them go to waste.”

blake was stationed at her favorite bench in central park. she was scribbling ideas between podcast subjects and ideas for her next book. she felt the presence of somebody sit next to her but the blonde continued to keep to herself. she quickly looked up and gently whipped her head to look over at the stranger, her golden locks flowing slightly with the movement “actually, I would love one” she laughed as she shoved her notebook into her purse. “you’re in luck because i’m a firm believer that alcohol abuse is completely wrong and that no beer should be left un-drank” she giggled, reaching over to grab one of the beers “i’m blake by the way” she said, sticking her hand out to the boy beside her.

“How have you been?” he tried his best to come off as nonchalant, their relationship had not ended great and it was just another thing he could add to his lips of things he screwed up on when he left New York four years ago, honestly he was just surprised she wasn’t yelling at him.
blake was trying her best to remain calm and keep her cool “great. thriving. better than i’ve ever been” she said, her words slightly snapping. “what about you? run off on any girls lately or is that not your thing anymore?” she asked with a harsh tone as she raised a brow.

frankie shrugs his shoulders. “you know me. nothin’s ever perfect.” the drummer chuckled. “i am working on some new music, though, so that’s good.” he nodded his head. “good. where have you been?”
“nothing has to be perfect” she said, raising a slight smirk from the corner of her mouth. “oh my gosh, really? what kinda genre route are you taking?” she asked, sounding genuinely curious “that’s super exciting! good for you” she nodded. “actually kind of all over the place” she laughed “africa, tokyo, australia, back to manhattan” she laughed again “a little bit of everywhere.”

she licked over her lips and felt herself wanting to pull away from anger. the other part of her wanted to hold on to the grudge for dear life. “a soul vacation?” she asked softly, there wasn’t anger in her tone more confusion. “what does that even mean?” she swallowed thickly and shrugged her shoulders, “it would’ve been nice to hear from you when i had him,” she countered looking up at her. “but…thank you.”
“yeah” she nodded “ya know, going on a trip to figure out myself and get my shit together kinda thing” she said looking over at the girl “i needed to help myself before helping others kinda situation” she added. “i’m so sorry doll, i truly am” she said, a genuine look upon her face. “i stayed mainly unplugged the whole time, but the last bit of the trip i was completely off the online social earth.” she said softly. “truly, i’m sorry marnie.” she looked away then back at the girl “you can do what you want with the apology but i really mean every word.”

“i dig that being clumsy is lowkey your brand” the blonde laughed “you own it girl, you run into those hoes” she teased with a giggle.

“i’ve been good, i’ve been really, really good !” he replies, bright smile on his features. that wasn’t a total lie. getting engages and having a child had made him happier than ever… but the recent attacks by the tabloids weren’t too fun. “thank you ! you’ll have to meet him sometime, i’m sure he’d love you.”
“you look great, like you’ve been doing well. happy looks great on you” she said, giving him a slight nudge. “yes I would love that more that anything, the pictures of him look utterly adorable”

Joey was on her way back from the studio, and had her Fender strapped to her back. When the blonde knocked into her, she stumbled back a few steps. “Oh, fuck. Watch where you’re going.” She snapped. Sighing, she brushed a piece of hair out of her eyes. “I guess it’s alright, at least I didn’t fall on my guitar. Then I would’ve been really pissed.”
blake was taken back by the girl’s reaction. i mean this was new york after all normally people wouldn’t apologize. “there’s no need to rude about it.” she said as she raised her brow “well thankfully you didn’t land on your guitar, i don’t know much about them but that one looks very pretty”

marnie hadn’t seen her in what felt like forever, it had been literal months since the blonde had been around. she hated that she felt angry but one of her closest friends hadn’t been around at such an important time –she couldn’t help but roll her eyes when she looked up at the tall beauty. she moved the stroller out of the way and shook her head. “it’s fine,” mumbled the brunette, leaning down to fix at xanders blanket.
“oh my god, marnie” she said, a light tone in her voice as she looked down at the girl. “my only excuse is my soul vacation but I am so sorry I missed the birth of your beautiful baby” she said, a frown appearing on her face. “i wanted to reach out as soon as I got back but I figured you didn’t want to hear from me, that you needed time.” she said, glancing down at her feet before looking back at the girl “but I hope everything is going good for you, you deserve this happiness” she said, placing a hand on the girl’s shoulder as she gave a little smile.

mia and blake didn’t know each other very well but she knew a little bit about what went down with chance and blake and so bumping into blake was something mia wasn’t intending on doing anytime soon but fate had other ideas. “sorry lovely!” she said out of habit whenever she bumped into anyone, turning to realise who it was. “oh! blake, hey!”
“hey” the girl said, a slight smile growing on her face as she realized the person she bumped into was a familiar face. “apologies, i’ve been out of new york for what feels like forever, what’s your name again?” she asked as she looked over at the girl.

“oh gosh, no need to be sorry, doll” she giggled “yes i’m totally fine” she let out a laugh “i’m from new york i’m used to bumping into people”

beckley had just started his christmas shopping, figuring that buying his presents for everybody was the best time to do it. he was trying his best to make it through people before he’s bumping himself into somebody. he huffs for a moment, mostly frustrated that it’s taking what feels like forever to get just about anywhere. “oh, no, it’s okay, don’t worry about it.”
“i’m so sorry dear, truly” she said, looking over at the guy. she reached into her purse and pulled out a gift card for starbucks “i keep giftcards for places in my purse to give out to people in need which also come in handy for situations like this.” she laughed “please take this and get your coffee on me.” she smiled “I should really watch where i’m going especially in this crowded city” she laughed.
