Muse on fame. This webcomic is just captivating from the start. The story is about Myeong, she is an actress and her career has mostly disappear but some photos of her were taken and publish in a photo exhibition (without her knowledge) by a photographer that is already dead. After this she suddenly starts gaining fame and because of that more opportunities for acting. Will she be able to accept this weird situation in exchange for fame?

Besides that the art is beautiful, what I love the most is the way is narrated by the protagonist pov, her reflections on her life and the way she sees the world is just so beautifully written and you understand her. The mystery of the story is not only who is this photographer but just a lot of the side characters that are around Myeong, you learn about their backstories which makes you understand the story better. There is a lot of twist, mystery, drama a little bit of romance and great characters including villians. Totally worth the read. Read it on the webtoon app or the website.

One day when Myeong’s schedule will run late and she couldn’t go to the seaside, she couldn’t go to the usual Gukbap place near the shore, it was only today so it should be fine she hopes, she goes there atleast once a week so she will just go another day…but then her phone rings, she slightly jumps seeing the name that shows up on the screen. She takes it, nothing on the other side, if not only hesitation…then his voice hits her ear « Are you coming today? »

Ooh but don’t get me wrong, i don’t mean them licking at each others wounds, they are aware of their dispositions and are open about how they loved and were also loved (atleast Myeong had this opportunity) so rather than look back in sorrow they are facing forward knowing and remaining hopeful

Talking together about everything and whatnots…eating together…walking together on the beach…slowly spending more and more time together…in the end they know better the line they don’t dare to cross but still seek each other company…

AHHHH I wish Author SOOJI would write a 30 chapters series on how Myeong deals with her grief with Director Cheon close by her side, two people who have both experienced loss of that one person, they already had such a intimate understanding of each other…

Oops forgetting the tags but yea Director Cheon was both Bido AND Mr Shin. Bido is his will to live that he renies and Mr Shin is the part of him that disappeared when Gyulneong died. That’s the part he shed into the ocean, Mr Shin dies willingly into the fire. Director Cheon was against Myeong’s interpretation of Bido at first because she expressed that will to live, he wanted to die and couldn’t die, couldn’t admit that he still ran away from the Ocean. We learn this with his confession. So it was all about how he couldn’t / still can’t live with himself choosing life over death when the woman he loved died. He doesn’t want to make any more movies with her missing in them, he gave everything he had.
