participating in my beloved tradition of popping on tumblr once upon a while to share, random characters i make for fun

i like the tiefling guy im getting vibes that i'll draw him again in a few months to a year or so. i might even actually use one of these guys sometime

drew five billion headshots of my friends and i's d&d characters to think about eye shapes

#most of them are just #umm #quadrilaterals but those are fun to dink round with :p #anything more than 4 sides feels a bit much #theres a lot im too lazy to tag or ramble abt them all on my phone #but i love these guys

doodled sonic characters earlier today . tails is so square

#i Will be real havent drawn sonic or tails much #TBH. havent kept up with sonic stuff too much either i should look into it more someday #ive got like snippets here and there of stuff #the sonic with a parachute was because i was Struggling to figure out a pose #and i kept getting scared trying to put a body with his head #and earlier today i saw someone skydiving on instagam so. what if sonic had a parachute and it didnt work #i think tails would fly in to catch him or something else would help him last second #for tension's sake #these are so cute they Heal my soul i should draw fanart more often its been So Long #also for some reason its not letting me pick my art blog to post with so. to main it goes i guess #i might color in that sitting tails at the bottom hes so cute

the colors are off but also surprisingly? accurate in a way, like similar value just consistently warmer or cooler toned hues

Grimwald, the cheetah is understandably the least accurate.... havent started playing as him yet. no clue where his markings go, lol

michael wave's is also inaccurate but i love him and honestly might adjust his colors.... we'll see

#borislav is a snowy owl meanwhile scopic's a white version of a great horned owl #scopics white because i put a white owl on michael wave's pajamas #michael embroidered(?) or something akin to that mayeb knitted i Dont jnow the word #like michael got something and used that to make a little owl on his jammies #michael my sweet baby boy #borislav you are massive and grown up but you are also kind of baby boy in your own way

in an ideal world i am going to play this guy for a oneshot next week 🔥 great old one warlock and his patrons are the ghosts of chrustmas past/present/future. he got the ebeneezer scroige treatment and instead of learning valuable life lessons made a pact with the ghosts

annd heres another guy i played as recently. glint slivertooth, oath of the crown. destined to die in that oneshot for plot things within the campaign but man did his party try to fight that fate

#their names are similar bc of a bit #for the christmas oneshot the dm suggested neutral or evil characters so i jokingly suggested playing as glints evil doppleganger... flint #i kept that name bc i didnt feel like thinking of a new one #i took a 20 hour roundtrip (10 to 10 fro) to play as glint. bc im insane #honestly would do it again but i'd have to wait a bit on account of oil changes and mileage #and also i GUESS i shouldnt spend a lot on gas

i love being obsessed with my d&d campaign . the guy on the left is one'a the fellas that fucked up a player character's life; tbh the MAIN fella who did that he's a drug distributor who's ruined the area that character lived in. and the guy on the right is another player character's dad

it's based off this lil blurb i've written for a dream the son has

One night, you close your eyes to sleep and when they open… you find yourself in this weird, fancy house. It's dark, but you can just barely make out the ornate wallpaper from the dimmed candlelight. A bony hand grabs your face, mumbling in a pleased voice about how long you've survived.

You feel a prick in your arm and a pain in your neck. As your vision fades, you feel your arm energize and move. There's a grunt from behind, but you're gone before anything else can happen as you jolt awake in your apartment in a cold sweat.
