BRIGHTER FOUNDATIONS

This mod is an attempt to fix the old issue of foundations being too dark and their colors never matching anything else.

There’s a darkening gradient applied to all buildings in the game which makes the bottom of walls look darker. It’s there to make them blend in with the environment, I suppose, but that comes at the expense of color fidelity.

What I did was change the darkening amount from 50% to 10%, and now the foundation textures actually match the rest of the textures in the game! What a concept.

NO OUTLINES

The Dream Home Decorator patch added white outlines around the object you’re currently hovering in Build mode. If you don’t like those outlines, pick the nooutlines package instead. You’ll be getting brighter foundations and the outlines will be removed.

Make sure you’re only using one of the two packages!

Dine Out Classic Curtain Edits

Alpha Beta Phong Media Cabinet

@toothfairyundermypillow did some great retextures of the counters and cabinets from the Cool Kitchen SP and I realized that the small cabinets could work really good as media cabinets. Said and done, here is the mesh edit! I’ve  basically moved the handles and added a bunch of slots. :P The cabinet comes in the same colors as this set by Tfairy. ♥

Space Blanket Toddler Beds

I’ve made a toddler version of the single bed that came with the City Life Expansion. For your more stylish toddlers I guess. ^_^  

Toddler conversion of CL “Space Blanket” single bed. Comes in the original swatches.

Extra: I’ve created my own separated toddler mattress which can be used as a recolor base. You just place it in Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods and choose “Create 3D mesh” when creating new toddler mattress recolors. I’ve removed the doubles of this version and it will also work well with my Rustic Dream bed without any clipping. The mattress comes in a white base texture and I’ve included a .psd for easy recoloring. Have fun with it!

Tea Party In Teak Dining Chair [Revisited]

These chairs had the potential to be super useful but with only 5 swatches they didn’t really live up to their full potential the first time I posted them. I’ve now spruced them up with better shadows and new shiny textures. Hey Simmers!

To satisfy the curiosity of some of you I’ve decided to upload a Photoshop action which more or less answers the question of how I edit my pictures. I say more or less because I tend to be quite non-consistent and change my habits from time to time & I also use a lighting mod called ReShade with the Heights of Summer settings released by Pictureamoebae here. I love that mod and don’t see myself ever playing the game without it. I must admit that I don’t remember if I’ve changed any of the settings but I suggest you try it out and fiddle with it until you’re satisfied. ^_^

► What does the Bright & Clear action do?  ► It re-sizes to 800 px width, brightens, sharpens, saturates and adds a border. Feel free to use and abuse, take apart & edit in any way you seem fit.

Rustic Dream Toddler Bed

Now that we have toddlers we just simply cannot get enough toddler content, can we? Here’s another separated bed frame for you all. It’s based off the Rustic Dream double bed from the Base Game.

INFINITY RUG

I loved that we got a buildable rug with the Vampire gamepack but it only came in a Victorian pattern and since my builds are mostly contemporary I thought I’d try my hands on some plain recolors. I ended up with a corner piece add-on too to make it even more versatile. :D
