Aa this is very flattering! Im by no means an expert! But if you need help, id suggest watching FZDschool on youtube, theyre an amazing resource, and in terms of lighting etc my main tip is that your goal is to sell your design, don't make a character stand boring, or overdo the lighting so you cant see half of them you know? Focus on design. In environment, its the same, focus on design, void boring things and instead use breakdowns, they don't want to see an environment if you can't tell them what it does and its story. Show a close up of the door for modellers, keep it interesting you are a designer first and an illustrator second. And the last advice i can give so i dont make this too long, is to not be precious with your work, 90% or more is not going to be seen by anyone ever, you will get critiques and things you dont agree with, but its your job to work for the client ( unless you are the client/personal work ) you can be proud of your work and thats fine! You can be proud, but don't be rude or arrogant, no one likes to work with arseholes. ♡ so! Work quick, work well and learn fundamentals.
