Sleepy - EPILOGUE

his event occurs just before leaving the Dream Space. He had a strange dream with someone he doesn't directly know. Dreams during the "sleep" state tend to connect with those of other people, and on this occasion it linked with those of that stranger, who seemed very aggressive. It's a rather peculiar experience… especially since it's the first time he's interacted minimally with someone on that plane or with anyone at all…—he's no longer just a passive observer of the dream, but is directly involved in it.

“I had planned to go out and explore what was beyond… to discover the goals I wanted to achieve and prove that I could follow in the footsteps of someone I deeply admire. As soon as I managed to leave my home, I ended up in what seemed to be an abandoned structure—something that was never finished. In the middle of that place, I found a small flower. It was clearly depressed… you could feel it in its need to have something to represent it, to not just be a simple sketch lost in the void. Perhaps, in other timelines, this flower might have been seen as something hostile or negative… but in this world, it was merely a sad being that didn’t understand why it existed. I tried to give it a reason to smile. Maybe… playing a card game would cheer it up. I know, it sounds like a silly idea, but it was my first time trying to help someone, you know? Still, it seemed to enjoy it—it liked feeling like someone, and not just nothing. I was glad to see it so focused on the game, though sometimes it struggled to decide what moves to make, and I had to guide it through almost everything it did… honestly, it was making me a bit sleepy. Anyway… maybe it’s worth telling in more detail everything that happened on my first day, don’t you think?

From the coziest corners you can see the Guardian of Dreams approaching, a warm welcome to Sleepy Sans. You can just call him Sleepy, he’s twice as lazy as the original Sans, which is understandable given his natural environment. He lives constantly within a dream world and stays connected to it. His life is usually very comfortable, as he quite literally has one foot in the clouds.
