**Please note that this list can and will be updated as time goes on. There are things I didn't think of to add and they will be added if you come up with them. And if you have any questions PLEASE ASK ME.
Request Guidelines, Below The Cut:
Please Provide the following:
WHO? Ducktales Character, Reader (with preferred Gender and Pronouns), my OCs.
RELATIONSHIP? Familial, other Platonic, Romantic.
PLOT. What do you want to see happen during this piece? Does it take place during an episode? Prompt?
Additional Information. Do you want some angst or fluff sprinkled in alongside the PLOT? If there is no provided PLOT, do you want angst or fluff? Use this space to also let me know any additional information I should touch on that you want included in the story.
What I Will Write:
ANGST
FLUFF
RELATIONSHIPS: As I mentioned above, I will write Familial, Platonic, and Romantic relationships.
READER INSERTS: Please include Gender and Pronouns. I do tend to default to Female because I am Female and that is what I do for some reason.
OC INSERTS:Â If you like one of my OCs enough to want to see more of them, by all means, ask for it. I do not write for anyone else's OCs at this time (this is largely due to the fact that I know my own OCs, not yours and for some reason in the past people didn't understand that they needed to tell me about their OC... so only my own).
SELF-HARM: You can ask for this as part of a backstory, but not ongoing.
EATING DISORDERS: You can ask for this as part of a backstory, but not ongoing.
SMUT/LEMONS/LIMES & SIMILAR: Just because I'm an adult, who may or may not have first-hand experience, does not mean I know how to write about it. Also, I straight up don't find the appeal in writing or engaging IRL. Personal thing.
INCEST
ABUSE: You can ask for this as part of a backstory, but not ongoing, it's DuckTales, c'mon.
POLY-SHIPS: No hate, just because I am an adult, does not mean I have first-hand experience or even know someone in this type of relationship. Personal thing, again.
CHARACTERS: There is a list of CHARACTERs that I will not do; this is subject to change, and I know for a fact I am missing exclusions:
Amunet
Drake Mallard (No Romance)
Doofus Drake
Faris Djinn
Fethry Duck (No Romance)
Gene the Genie
John D Rockerduck
Jose Carioca (No Romance)
Panchito Pistoles (No Romance)
Penumbra (No Romance)
Poe De Spell
OTHER THINGS: At this time the only other thing I will typically turn down is Character/Character, I typically do these in the sense of CHARACTER A is the child of B and C. But because DuckTales is a different breed than some of my other fandoms, I might make an exception.
Charlette: So, what do you do?
Gyro: I now work in genetic research and I'm currently trying to eliminate all Cancers.
Charlette: Oh, wow! That's impressive!
Gyro: Then I'll move onto Leos.
Charlette:
Hi @ the people in my inbox!!! I see you, I'm trying to start the requests!! I'm very behind on writing for fun because, actually i don't know why lol. But i see you and your request. I'll get them posted when writing for fun is fun again!!
Hi! may i please get a comedy/angst one shot of a gn, possibly adhd, young adult reader getting caught up in a duck-mcduck adventure (donald, scrooge, the triplets, della, &/or webby) and just. Being so tired(depressed but in denial abt it) & having no regard for their own life (they fall like 10 feet and go "ow." in a deadpan voice, "lol too bad that didn't kill met, etc)? But they're fully willing to sacrifice their life for others? If too dark, just same reader being comforted on a bad day?
10 Feet Down
Scrooge McDuck & GN!Reader
Word Count: 1K+
Warnings: Implied suicide attempt/no interest in being alive sort of thing. Honestly I just thought Scrooge was such a bad comfort character, but I was wrong, although Donald is the best comfort character and cannot be used for a comedic hurt/comfort with low quality comedy lmao. for real tho, this is not my best work, but it's all i got

Master List 1, 2
[Y/N] yawned and tiredly recounted the days they have been couped up in the McDuck manorâ76 days with the exception of yesterday and that âdisaster of an adventureâ Donald had called it. It wasnât because they were being held hostage at the manor or anything of that sort, it was more of [Y/N] not being a fan of going outside and getting a taste of the harsh Calisota sun and breathing in the ocean air. They stared at the humming machine in front of them as it slowly brewed another pot of coffee. They were obsessed with the heavily caffeinated beverage regardless of the off-putting taste when they drank it plain. The homeowner loathed the bitter caffeinated drink but continued to buy the cute little machine capsules for [Y/N]. Despite Scroogeâs generosity, he constantly pushed for [Y/N] to try to drink something healthier, like tea. But to no avail. They refused time and time again. His tea didnât have enough caffeine for them to make it through the long and boring days, it wasnât sugaring enough to please their tastebuds, it just wasnât a good drink.
They sighed and grabbed their favorite Irish potâoâgold themed mug out of the designated mug cabinet (little joys in life consisted of collecting unnecessary objects that reminded them of their father-figure, but in a âIâm making fun of you, this isnât meant to be affectionateâ sort of way). They placed the mug down by the whirring machine and paced the kitchen, waiting for the slow machine to brew a full pot.
âGood morning [Y]â.â Bentina froze in the kitchen entry way. She watched the young adult pace back and forth in front of the machine. â[Y/N], you shouldnât be up and about just yet. What are you doing up?â She asked.
[Y/N] stopped in their tracks and glanced over at the housekeeper. âI never went to bed.â
âOhâŠâ Bentinaâs voice trailed. âDear, thatâs not good.â She started.
âI donât want a lecture about whatâs good for me. I know whatâs good for me and whatâs not, Mrs. B. There is only so much I can control.â [Y/N] snapped. They watched Bentina closely. âSorry.â
âMr. McDuck wanted to speak with you today, heâs in his study if you want to talk with him now.â Bentina walked past [Y/N] and continued with her house keeping duties. âAnd try not to drink your coffee in front of him.â
They smirked. âIâll drink the whole pot in front of him.â
Bentina sighed and nodded. âI know you will.â
[Y/N] quickly grabbed the finished pot and with a newfound and mischievous energy. They made their way to Scroogeâs study, walking faster than their legs have been moving. They slunk past a groggy Donald, who barely managed a âgood morningâ as he passed them. [Y/N] nodded in response. They almost felt bad for Donald, but they remembered that heâs only tired because chose to join the McDuck family on their adventure, much like [Y/N] and virtually everyone else. The adventure was something⊠[Y/N] stopped in their tracks and shifted their thoughts from the events from yesterday to the pot of coffee in their hands. They quickly lifted the pot to their bill and chugged what felt like half of the pot (but in reality, it was probably only two large gulps worth of liquid). They continued their journey toward Scroogeâs favorite hiding place in the manor.
It was strange to [Y/N], being part of the McDuck family without actually being related to anyone within the manor. How it came about was nothing but a blur to the young adult because it literally happened in a blur. They stopped at the door to Scroogeâs study and knocked.
âCome in.â Scrooge bellowed from behind the cracked door.
[Y/N] pushed the door open and flashed their father-figure a tired and lopsided grin. âMorninâ.â
âDo I smell that disgusting drink?â He didnât look up from his desk. âClose the door behind ya.â
âMhm.â [Y/N] pushed the door closed behind them and walked toward his desk. They sat down on one of the two chairs in front of the desk. âMrs. B said you wanted to see me this morning?â They asked.
Scrooge nodded, still not looking up from his desk. âYes, but I wasnât expecting ya this early!â He peered up at the young adult. âYouâre still fullâa surprises.â
âI donât know what you mean.â They deadpanned.
Scrooge nodded disappointedly. âI know you donât.â
The silence grew between them as Scrooge had begun to forget [Y/N]âs presence in his study in favor of finishing his work before the day had really begun. His bill was buried deep in financials for the Money Bin and requests and suggestions from the Board and complaints and other papers from his employees and papers upon papers for other things concerning the Money Bin. His desk was full of business things that [Y/N] refused to understand because it looked too tedious and time consuming, they would much rather do anything but businessâadventuring, directing, teaching, dance, acting, retail, food service, anything but owning a business! Well, none of those things actually seemed like things [Y/N] would like, but sometimes they did like those things. From their own rising boredom of the world around them, they begun to suspect that Scrooge was going to drill them about their future again. He only did that because he cared about them and wanted nothing more than for [Y/N] to have a future (unlike Donald who became a freeloader and unlike Della who has a list of mistakes that matches the length of her lists of successes). [Y/N] wasnât the only one Scrooge cared for, the children ought to have futures better than Donald and Della as well; he wanted the future, the new generation to be as successful as he is, if not more so.
âI donât want another lecture about my future.â [Y/N] spoke up and pulled their father-figure out of his work.
Scrooge looked up at the duck and raised his eyebrows. âWhat made ya think we were going to discuss that?â
They shrugged their shoulders. âHonestly, it seems to be the only conversation we have anymore. I miss when I could tell you about why the sky is blue or why a car engine works.â
âBut you donât know how a car engine works.â Scrooge knitted his eyebrows together.
âThatâs beside the point, Scrooge.â They sighed.
Scrooge leaned back in his chair. âScrooge?â
âThatâs your name and I ought to use it, right?â [Y/N] said.
He blinked. âYouâre family.â
[Y/N] inhaled deeply. âAm I?â
âWhat do you mean?â Scrooge asked.
âI donât really feel like family, I never have.â [Y/N] said. âAnd I donât actually want to talk about that either. I donât really want to talk to you about anything personal.â
Scrooge swallowed. âI wanted to talk to you about what I witnessed yesterday.â
âI donât understand.â They said.
âWe couldâve lost you. That was a nasty fall. You couldâve died.â Scrooge said firmly. âThat was more than a 10-foot drop, [Y/N]. Iâm surprised you walked away with scratches.â
[Y/N] inhaled sharply. âIâm fine.â
Scrooge shook his head. âNo, I donât think you are. Honestly, I was beginning to think you were going through a phase that was similar to Donaldâsâyou know, the one he doesnât talk about. I thought you were just avoiding the family, being rebellious, and learning who you are. But I was wrong. You willingly let that happened and you laughed about it. You laughed and wished it had killed you.â
âI donât know what you mean.â They played dumb.
Scrooge sighed. âYouâre not well, whether you want to admit it or not. None of us are daft, itâs not like we havenât seen it before. Sure, at first, we missed the obvious signs, but we all know better now and weâre all very worried about you. [Y/N], family is the greatest adventure of all, and it would be a shame if you werenât part of that adventure. I donât want to see a repeat of yesterday.â He said.
âYou canât stop how I feel.â [Y/N] deadpanned.
Scrooge shook his head. âNo, but I can get you some help. I have friends who know people, Donald knows people. There are people out there who help people like you for a living.â
[Y/N] looked down. âAre you going to get rid of me?â
âThatâs not what I said at all. Weâre getting you some help.â Scrooge repeated himself.
âI donât wantâ.â
âInstead of getting help, you decide to try to throw your life away?â He asked as he leaned forward on his desk.
âNoâyesâI meanâŠâ [Y/N] stuttered. âI donât think I thought you cared about me. Youâre not the greatest at⊠parenting. But I was never your child to begin with, I was just another problem you picked up along the way.
Scrooge looked down at his hands. âA problem, yes, but youâre my problem, [Y/N]. Whether you like it or not, youâre a part of my family and I will do everything for my family. I will spare no expense on keeping my family alive and well.â
âI still donât want help.â [Y/N] said.
âI will raise your allowance if you take the help.â Scrooge said. âAnd I wonât complain about your coffee habit.â
[Y/N] thought for a moment. âDonât tell the children either. I donât want them asking me questions the way they do with Donaldâs anger management.â
âDeal.â
âAnd I want to use karate as a cover up since thatâs something I did in my youth and the children donât know about it. Easy lie.â [Y/N] smiled sadly.
Scrooge furrowed his eyebrows. âYou took karate?â
âI wanted to take ballet, but the karate studio was the only place that would take an orphan.â [Y/N] chuckled.
âThat explains so much about you.â Scrooge chuckled along. âNo more adding anything to our deal.â
âFine.â
Scrooge smiled. âThatâs the first time youâve laughed in months.â âDonât ruin it.â [Y/N] smiled. âThanks, dad.â
Could you please write how you think Lena (before or during canon) would mesh with gn!adhd!reader? Like how they'd meet, what adventure(if any) they'd go on? Or maybe they don't even meet, maybe they just keep catching glimpses of the other--i'd love to get a peek into their thoughts/observations/opinions about the other!
Head Not Empty, Many Thoughts
Lena De Spell-Sabrewing & GN!ADHD!Reader
Word Count: 700+
Warnings: None
Author Note: This will not be on AO3 like the rest of my actual fics. This is less of a fic and more of a general fanwork idea, but it still counts towards the requests and all that so it's getting its own place in the master lists.
Master List 1, 2, 3 || Previous || Next
Pre-Canon, GN!ADHD!Reader about Lena:
She'sâŠinteresting, to keep it simple. She hangs around the amphitheater a lot and that's really one of the only times they see her. Occasionally, they'll catch her thieving or misbehaving and run away without consequences chasing after them. They're obviously jealous that they don't see her face the consequences of her actions. They think that maybe she's just entering a rebellious phase and trying to get away from home. They don't notice or know that she's like themâhomelessâthey only see the way they are treated compared to someone their own age doing similar things. They might hold a little resentment towards her for that, but nothing they won't get over or forget about in the near future.
Pre-Canon Lena De Spell about Reader:
They're clumsy, loud, and very noticeable. They definitely deserve and need to learn a trick or two about getting away unnoticed. They have their own reputation about being a bad kid, causing trouble, and being an outright menace to societyâas far as she's heard. On the other hand, she thinks they're just, as already mentioned, clumsy and loud. She almost feels bad that they get yelled at all the time and are basically left to starve after having their food ripped from their hands. But they have to learn on their ownâŠright? She can't afford to help them, it's their problem and she has bigger, first dime-ier, things to worry about.
Canon Lena & Reader:
It's very unlikely for them to meet between the time Donald took Reader in and pre-Lena episodes. Reader would most definitely be preoccupied with their new family, specifically their three brothers/cousins (very ambiguous family dynamic here, but leaning toward legally cousins, brothers for all other), and doing their best to be a Woodchuck. They'd be working extra hard (as hard as their ADHD allows) to meet the example Huey left for themâwith this realm Reader looks up to Huey, Huey is literally the image of what Reader aspires to be as a Woodchuck. Lena, on the other hand, would be preoccupied with getting her hands on that dime for Magica. Family comes first, of course. But there is no denying that both Reader and Lena have thought about each other since they stopped catching glimpses of each other due to Reader's new life. Neither of them would be willing to admit that they ever cared about those little glimpses or about each other, but they did and do. And neither of them will admit to thinking about each other.
Canon Lena & Reader Con't:
Now, I know the story isn't here yet, but once we enter season 1 of Ducktales for Reader, their world crashes again. Their resentment for Scrooge mimics that of Donald's to the point they beg Donald to leave them home alone because they can take care of themselvesâthis implies that Reader admitted to Donald that the whole situation with the homelessness and theft is linked to Scrooge (Moneybags himself) because he won't spend a penny to help those in the same or similar situation as Reader. Once it all settles down and the story progresses, Webby meets Lena first, of course. The triplets have fun at sea, and Reader is at the McDuck Manor being a brooding teenager (naturally, I mean, come on guys). The whole ordeal with Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys happens with Reader involved, although a few steps behind everyone (late to the party because the Manor was so cozy and they'd be inside, it was a struggle to leave). When they arrived at the playground to save the damsels in distress, it turns out they were just the help. Webby excitedly introduced Lena and Reader to each other and just gushed about Reader to Lena, in front of her, and gushed about Reader to Lena, in front of them. Reader was stunned, more so than Lena. They had always seen each other around and they finally met after all this time. It was almost surreal, once this fact is pointed out, Webby squeals like her fanfiction brOTP is coming together in canon finally. That is the start of a great friendship. As far as adventures go, whatever they get dragged into is fair game. As far as life changing field trips with Zuko, we'll just have to wait and see.
