There was a meow and suddenly a Purrloin was above the girl, staring down at her. After that, there was the sound of hurried footsteps.
“Are you all right?” Keeping his distance, N asked the question rather awkwardly. He’d witnessed the girl crawling out of the river and he couldn’t tell if she was injured or not, but he wanted to help in someway.
He’d been afraid for a moment that he was going to witness a death–he hadn’t been sure what he would do, if that were the case. Should he have called someone? He wouldn’t know who to call. He knew no one around here, and the nearest pokemon center was miles away. He tended to stay away from public places after all.
“I…can have Reshiram carry you…if you need to go to the pokemon center…”
Dianne found herself surprised at the sight of a Purrloin. If anything, she had almost prepared herself to have to avoid some attack, in case it had either been a wild Pokemon or one from one of... Them. The footsteps also worried her, but the way that the voice she heard spoke, it instantly reassured her that this wasn’t someone who was looking for her.
Still up against the Water Pokemon beside her, she managed to turn to look at the male. Her hair covered her sight a bit, but she could see all she needed to know. Keeping that gentle smile on her face, she gently shook her head. “N-no... It’s alright...”
As far as she knew, she hadn’t gotten hit, and Marie looked okay as well. Looking up at her friend, Dianne finally moved off her. “Are you alright, Marie?”
“I’m glad...” A sigh of relief escaped her lips, before she looked at the male, moving her hair from her face. “My apologies for causing any concern, but we’re ok. It likely won’t be the last time we end up like this.”
