Sometimes you wanna roll over and die like twice a day but you gotta keep a smile and keep goin forward til somethin good comes along that makes you smile for real. Until then you muscle through and tough out the hard parts and do your best to enjoy the little things.

If you date me there’s some things you have to know, 1. There will be days where I get too sad to even get out of bed so please don’t get angry if I’m not replying. 2. I fight a war everyday inside my head and somedays there are battle scars on my body. 3. I drink to forget the demons I’m fighting, but I promise I am faithful. 4. I’ve hated myself for so long it’s hard to be told beautiful words that weren’t made for people like me, so forgive me when I cringe when you touch me. 5. I care way more then I’ll let you know and I’m really sensitive, nothing else to that. 6. I get scared that everyone is going to realize how awful I am and that they’re going to leave me so I apologize for making you tell me why you love me all the time. 7. I’m bad at kind of everything I do but I swear I will love you the best I can. 8. I like to drive at night because everything is blurred and I hope there will be something in the road and cause an accident. 9. I trust easily and forgive too often please don’t use that against me. 10. Thank you for loving me even on the bad days, I love you too I’m just not too good at showing it.

Alone.

I find myself alone. Longing for someone to talk to day in and day out, to hold their hand and their heart. I know they say the right person will come along but it scares me that maybe I’ve missed them. Maybe they just walked in and out before I could even say hi. I’m not exactly the best at coming forward and striking a conversation. I’m not that whitty, or smart, or quick on my feet. I’m not the tallest guy or the best looking. I like to think I have something to offer though. I have steady hands. I’m good in hard situations. I’m good at helping hurting hearts. But it’s like none of that matters all that much. I’m still here, as though I’m confined to a little room with nothing more than walls holding it together. No paint or pictures, no door. Just a window to look out of and see but never touch the beauty. I’m alone. Trapped in loneliness by my own ever turning mind that won’t let me forget that i am in a prison of my own making. Forced to walk day to day wondering if I will always be by myself locked in this plainness with no meaning to bind me and uplift my spirit. I like myself, I do. But I’ve found in the past that I’m not always enough and that scary to think about because if I’m not enough for someone else…what happens when I’m not even enough for me…
